We had an amazing stay at Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort and truly enjoyed every moment of our experience. The island itself is absolutely beautiful, with crystal-clear water, incredible nature, and a peaceful atmosphere that made it feel like paradise. One of the things we appreciated most was how relaxing and private the resort felt. It was the perfect place to disconnect, enjoy the ocean, and spend quality time together. The sunsets, the turquoise sea, and the overall scenery were unforgettable. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay. Everyone made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived, and the service was always warm and professional. The food, rooms, and overall facilities were also excellent, and everything was very clean and well maintained. Every detail helped create a luxurious yet cozy experience. Thank you to the entire Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort team for such beautiful memories. We would absolutely love to come back again in the future.

Stayed for a week with my wife on honeymoon. Had a fantastic time very relaxing week. The food in Alita (main restaurant on resort) was excellent. Great choice of food and every night different theme. Thank you to Poppy and all the staff at restaurant. Bar staff were excellent and very friendly had some great chats with them on our stay. Special thank you to Naveen for all the laughs. DJ playing most nights. Location is ideal for snorkeling and saw lots of different fish and nurse sharks. Would love to come back some day. Would highly recommend.

We returned to Mercure Kooddoo five years after our first stay — and it’s impressive how consistent everything remains. The hotel has managed to maintain its standards without feeling outdated, which is quite rare. What stands out most is how effortless the entire experience feels. Everything is well thought through, from arrival to departure, and the team clearly knows how to deliver a smooth, stress-free stay. The atmosphere is exactly what you want from an adults-only resort — calm, unhurried, and genuinely relaxing. It’s the kind of place where you can completely disconnect without feeling bored. There’s a good balance between doing nothing and having just enough low-key activities if you want them. Nothing feels forced or over-organized. Overall, it’s not about one standout feature — it’s the consistency across all aspects that makes this place special. Still one of the best-value resorts we’ve experienced in the Maldives.

This place is simply amazing. Could seriously not ask for more. The Overwater villa is spacious and very comfortable. The food and staff are excellent, different food options every day and top quality produce (shoutout to Poppy and the service staff from Alita - thank you for making our stay so enjoyable). The house reef and snorkeling has been the absolute best, turtles, rays, sharks and soooo many species of fish and coral. Crystal clear warm water with very easy access via the villa steps. We set out on this holiday thinking it would be a bucket list - one and done, but we were so wrong, we will absolutely be back, we will not even consider researching other properties, there is no need, Mercure Maldives Kooddoo will be our first and only choice. Went with all inclusive and happy with this option, nothing to think about, just enjoy
