We stayed in one of the overwater bungalows and the very first thing that impressed us was the incredible staff. Every single staff member was warm, welcoming and always happy to help. Housekeeping came twice a day once in the morning and again in the evening which made our stay even more comfortable. The food throughout the resort was excellentbut the Japanese restaurant was definitely the highlight of our trip. The chef’s live cooking show was so much fun and the food was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we went back 3 nights in a row! The other restaurants were also fantastic, offering delicious meals and excellent service. Our bungalow was beautiful, comfortable and very relaxing. The resort also had plenty of activities to keep us entertained throughout our stay. Overall, we had an amazing experience and couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. We were truly impressed by every aspect of the resort and would definitely come back again♥️♥️ Thank you.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and the staff were friendly and tried their best to help. The beach and snorkeling were beautiful, and the location is very convenient if you want to stay close to the airport. However, I left feeling that the resort has a lot of potential that isn’t fully realized. The swimming pool is nice but feels outdated, and the pool service could be more attentive. After dinner, the resort becomes very quiet, with very limited entertainment for families. There is no outdoor playground for children, and once the Kids Club closes at 6:00 PM, there is very little for kids to do. My son quickly became bored, and we often had no choice but to let him use screens, which is something we try to avoid during vacations. The restaurants are quite expensive. While the team kindly tried to offer us discounts during our stay, I believe the resort would benefit even more from investing in family-friendly evening activities, children’s entertainment, and an outdoor playground. These additions would make a huge difference for families traveling with young children. Because the resort is so close to the airport, planes fly overhead frequently. My son actually enjoyed watching them, but for me it took away from the peaceful “remote island” atmosphere I was hoping for. Next time, I would probably choose a resort farther from the airport for a more secluded Maldives experience. Kurumba has many strengths, especially its staff and beautiful beach, but with some updates and more family-focused entertainment, it could become an even better destination.

Stayed at this wonderful hotel with my daughter and my mother-in-law, and I can honestly say that everything was just perfect! First of all, the location is incredibly convenient—just 5 minutes from Malé. The resort itself is beautiful, featuring a wide, gorgeous beach and lots of lush greenery. We also highly appreciated the excellent kids' club, which was a huge plus and kept my daughter happily entertained. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the amazing staff. A huge thank you to our manager, Shammas, for his great service, and to Oumaima at the reception for her warm and welcoming smile. The housekeeping team also deserves a special mention; they cleaned our room every single day and made sure we were completely comfortable. Finally, our hearts were completely won over by Mohamed, the Chef at the Arabic restaurant. His kindness, attention to detail, and of course, the incredible food were outstanding. My top recommendation to all future guests: book a table at his restaurant and just enjoy every bite! Thank you for a magical family vacation. We will definitely be back!

100% recommended!! We had a fantastic family experience with our 7-year-old daughter. The island is beautiful, the vegetation is amazing, and the rooms are spectacular. The facilities are luxurious, and the staff's service was impeccable. We loved its proximity to the airport, as it made transfers much easier and more convenient. We were able to do several activities, and they were all incredible, especially the snorkeling, where we saw turtles, sharks, and tons of colorful fish. In short, an experience we will recommend to everyone we know. Thank you!!

A beautiful resort, amazing staff, beautiful views, close to the main city, so many options to relax at the resort and very comfortable surroundings. Everything was well taken care of on time, quickly and with our full care in mind. It was a wonderful trip and I can’t wait to go back there again! The warmth, care and hospitality we received was so special. Big shout out to Shammas, all our buggy friends, ladies at the Spa, hosts at the restaurants, Hassan for killer lattes, housekeeping crew, water-sports team, all hotel staff we met across the island, at the airport and boat rides… You each made our stay at Niva Kurumba one of our most memorable holidays ever!! ❤️
