This hotel enjoys an excellent location. Using the covered skywalk next to the hotel, you can easily walk to Pavilion Kuala Lumpur in about 5 minutes and the Petronas Twin Towers in around 15 minutes. Most of Bukit Bintang's major attractions are also within comfortable walking distance. The room was clean and well maintained throughout my stay. The reception staff were professional, welcoming, and always willing to assist with any questions or requests. The gym was not very large, but it was well equipped and perfectly adequate for a workout. The swimming pool, however, could use some improvement. There were not enough sunbeds available, and the pool area seemed to require a bit more maintenance. The highlight of my stay was definitely the Happy Hour at the lounge on the ground floor. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, and the selection of hot dishes, cocktails, and other refreshments was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. It was by far the most enjoyable facility in the hotel. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the names of the lounge staff, but I would like to sincerely thank them for their excellent service and warm hospitality. One thing worth noting is that bottled drinking water is not provided in the room. Instead, each room is equipped with a water purifier, so I would recommend bringing a reusable water bottle to make the most of this convenient and environmentally friendly feature. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and conveniently located place to stay in Kuala Lumpur.

I really enjoyed my stay at Novotel Kuala Lumpur City Centre. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The staff were kind, professional, and always willing to help. One thing I really appreciated was how flexible and accommodating they were whenever I needed assistance. The service was excellent, the rooms were well maintained, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Kuala Lumpur.

Disappointing room hygiene & unclear birthday‑request handling , lack of professionalism for a 4‑star hotel I was looking forward to a pleasant stay at Novotel Kuala Lumpur, but my check‑in experience was let down by hygiene issues and confusing service communication. Right after stepping into my room and placing my luggage down, I noticed a fingernail fragment left on the surface, an obvious sign it had not been properly cleaned. Later, when I wanted to fill some water, I found hair trapped inside the glass water jug. I also saw visible grime built‑up around the bathroom basin drain. These basic‑level cleanliness oversights were unexpected for an international‑brand, 4‑star hotel. I had checked‑in first, while my boyfriend was travelling straight from the airport to join me for his birthday. I was not certain whether I could ask for a small complimentary birthday dessert or fruit platter to surprise him in the room, so I called reception just to enquire. Instead of giving me a direct answer, reception transferred my call to the restaurant team, who told me such items would be chargeable. Reception could have simply said “no” upfront, rather than passing me along. While I understand hotels are not obligated to provide free treats, I felt the hand‑over between reception and restaurant lacked a clear explanation. These hygiene gaps and uncertain service flow made my arrival feel unwelcoming. There was an overall lack of professionalism that I would not expect from a 4‑star property. I hope management reviews their housekeeping inspection routines and clarifies how birthday‑related guest enquiries should be handled. Photos of the room‑cleanliness issues are attached for reference.

One thing to note is that the hotel doesn’t offer much of a view, as nearby buildings block most of it. Overall, I would happily stay here again, especially for the excellent service, fantastic restaurant, and delicious breakfast.

Its prime location makes it one of the best choices for travellers who want easy access to shopping, dining, entertainment, and sightseeing. The room was clean, spacious, and well maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing stay. Overall, it's an excellent hotel for both leisure and business travellers, offering great convenience and good value.
