Great escape! Staying at this resort was a truly great experience. The whole staff were super amazing and always ready to help, making our stay comfortable and memorable at all times. The food was delicious with a wide variety of options, perfectly suited for guests from all around the world. The crystal-clear beach right in front of the villas was absolutely stunning. There were plenty of water activities to enjoy, including scuba diving, snorkeling, and kayaking, which made the experience even more special. Much appreciated Johan for making all these activities a lifelong experience, we saw a different world under the water around the Island. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect beachside luxury and joyful getaway!

We really liked the hotel. It had an interesting art concept. Food was delicious! The beach was wonderful. We liked that the island was very small and cozy. The bright rooms and interior were really cool. The staff was very friendly and communicative. I especially want to mention Bob from the diving center, a man who truly loves his job and loves the ocean and the animals that live in it. He explained everything in great detail, told us about diving and his own experiences. He is a great teacher. Sincerely, from Sofia, Alisher and Karim. It was so cool that we connected with maldivian culture - food, music, dance etc I definitely recommend this hotel

I live in Dubai, a city famous for its excellent service quality, and I’m from Turkey, a country known for its hospitality. Having studied tourism and hotel management and worked in well-known hotels, my expectations are always high. However, Oaga Hotel exceeded all my expectations and set a new standard for me. It’s a perfect hotel — spotless, high-quality, and tastefully decorated. Every product and detail has been carefully selected and is of top quality. Cleanliness and good-quality food are my non-negotiables, especially in an all-inclusive concept, and the food here was simply outstanding. No offense to anyone, but as a Turk (because good food is essential for us), I can confidently say the food was excellent. The drink quality was also great, especially the cocktails at the bar near our overwater villa were exceptional. We stayed in an overwater villa and couldn’t get enough of the room , it was perfect. The activities for children and families were diverse and enjoyable. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and seemed to genuinely love their job (something quite rare to see nowadays) I usually tend to notice small flaws, but honestly, I couldn’t find a single thing to criticize. The only thing I would say is this: I wish someone had told us that three days in this hotel would never be enough. Stay at least five or six days, otherwise, you’ll leave a piece of your heart there😍

Must recommend for families planning to travel to Maldives. Walkable private beach resort island with the right mix of water sports and relaxing activities. We stayed both at the beautiful water villa and the haruge beach villa and got the GAI plan - which is well worth it. Want to give a shoutout to our malimee Shifu who went above and beyond to ensure we had a fabulous stay.

I do NOT recommend this hotel at all, especially if you are traveling with kids!!! First, they said the speedboat ride would take a maximum of 50 minutes. It took us 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach the island. That is a big difference. They seriously need to consider switching to seaplanes if they can’t manage their timing properly. The room was cleaned only once in four days, and only after we asked for it. This is completely unacceptable for a so called 5 star hotel. Now the worst part, the room was FULL of ants. Ants were inside all of our bags and belongings. We spent around three hours cleaning everything and checking that the baby formula milk and our baby’s food had no ants in them. Imagine how stressful that is with a baby. When we complained to our butler, she didn’t even apologize. She just sent someone to spray the room. He sprayed without properly cleaning the room or changing the sheets, and the sheets were already full of ants. Even after the spraying, I saw an ant walking on my baby’s cheek while she was asleep. That was the final shock. When I went to complain to management, the manager stayed silent for a long time and then offered me a free massage instead of changing our room. A massage? Seriously? What a joke. This is my fourth trip to the Maldives, and I have never experienced such bad treatment or poor hospitality. This place should NOT be rated as a 5 star hotel. To be fair, most of the staff were friendly. But our butler, “Shifa,” and the management were rude, careless, and completely unprofessional.
