This was our first time in the Maldives, and we truly hope it won't be the last. Our stay at the Oaga Resort was absolutely amazing. Beyond the stunning beaches and crystal-clear water, it was the incredible staff who made our stay truly unforgettable. Our journey began the moment we landed at Malé airport. We were warmly welcomed by Hasna, who was friendly, patiently answered every question we had, and guided us to the port to wait for the speedboat. The 50-minute speedboat ride was comfortable, air-conditioned, and offered plenty of seating. When we arrived at the resort, we were greeted by our maalimee Shifu and other staff members with a traditional welcome dance and a welcome drink. After a brief introduction to the resort, we exchanged WhatsApp contacts so Shifu could stay in touch and assist us with any requests we had. She then drove us to our room in a buggy. The Villa: We booked a beach-view villa that featured a lovely small swimming pool. The villa was spacious, featuring a unique, open-wardrobe design. The bathroom was large and included an outdoor shower. Everything was impeccably clean and tended to daily by our villa attendant, Rafiq. He was professional and respectful—especially when we happened to be in the room—ensuring the space was always tidy and well-maintained for us. Dining & Drinks There are currently two restaurants at the resort (with another restaurant and extra villas currently under construction). The Main Restaurant "Kaa Kada" : This is where we had dinner and lunch most often. It features a small buffet for entrées and desserts, alongside a menu of main dishes ordered directly to your table, though it occasionally switches to a full buffet. While the food was great, the true highlight was the service. The entire team was attentive and friendly. Aku and Hammad were always smiling and welcoming, balancing professionalism with warmth to ensure we had everything we needed at our table. Mohit, Dani, Sangeetah, and Zayan were slightly quieter, but equally welcoming and attentive to our needs. Manager Ali constantly checked in to ensure everything was running smoothly, addressing even the smallest details immediately and supporting his team wonderfully. Even on their days off or during breaks, the staff greeted us with smiles—including memorable encounters with Aku and Kuva. The À La Carte Restaurant "La Fuh Dan" : We tried both lunch and dinner here as part of our package. The menu offers a fusion of Maldivian and Italian cuisine. The food is a bit more fancy and delicious, featuring fantastic calzones and pizzas at lunch, and a wonderful variety of entrées and dinners. For drinks and sunsets, "HippVan" bar is hands-down the best spot on the island. The bartender, Kuva, served us great drinks daily accompanied by wonderful chats and a peaceful vibe. Experiences & Spa During our stay, we also had some cool photos with maalimee Neil, who captured some fantastic pictures for us. We tried the spa as well, and it was a wonderful experience. Both Daisy and Embun were extremely professional. Final Thoughts A massive thank you to Shifu, Kuva, Hasna, Aku, Ali, Hammad, Neil, Srija, Mohit, Dani, Sangeetah, Zayan, Rafiq, Daisy, and Embun. Thank you as well to all the backstage staff who work hard to keep the resort running so seamlessly. We can't wait to return! Small improvement that can be done, internet speed in the rooms, idk maybe it's not easy due the remote area of the islands.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely incredible. The location is perfect, and the sea is simply paradise — truly one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen. A very special thank you to our butler, Neil, who was extremely kind, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. All the employees at the hotel are amazingly kind and welcoming. You can really feel the care and attention they give to the guests. I would also like to give a special mention to Shreya, a waitress at the main pool bar. I hope she will see this comment one day. She is incredibly sweet, always smiling, and very professional. She truly brightened our days at the pool. I highly recommend this hotel — it was a real love at first sight for us. Truly amazing experience at Oaga Art Resort! It was our first time at the Maldives and we couldn’t have wished for a better experience! We stayed at a haruge beach villa, which was a perfect room with a great little beach spot and the most beautiful sunsets in the evening :) The food was great every day and every single employees was very nice and always friendly 😊 We loved our stay and hope to come again some time!

We spent 5 nights at Oaga Art Resort for our honeymoon, my birthday, and Eid. It was honestly the best holiday experience we've ever had! ​The service is unique because they assign you a personal organizer instead of a traditional reception. Our organizer, Shiyam, was a legend! He planned everything for us from jet skiing, snorkeling, painting classes, cocktail workshops, to dinner surprises. But the best part was his kindness on our last day. We had to check out of our Ocean Villa at noon but boat to the airport was at evening. Shiyam arranged a second, beautiful Beach Villa for us to stay in until night! This classy move made our last day so relaxing. ​The Ocean Sunset Villa we stayed in was amazing, with a big infinity pool and a slide into the sea. We spent a lot of time snorkeling, exploring around the island. The resort provides all the gear for free, and you can even go with a guide. We saw turtles, stingrays, colorful fish, and harmless nurse sharks right in the reefs. It felt like swimming in a giant aquarium! ​The food was delicious with plenty of international and local options. The night times at Raa Baa was always fun (there was fire dances and eid special traditional dances and music). We did a gin tasting event with history of gin at Sobi Bar, which has a nice swimming pool and great white beaches. Even though it's a small island, there’s so much to do. We loved visiting the small farm to feed the goats and rabbits. There's cats too! The only negative thing I can say is that the gift shop were extremely expensive for small things like magnets and keychains. Other than that, everything was perfect. ​Whether you are a couple or a family, Oaga is the perfect place. Huge thanks to Shiyam and the whole team for making our honeymoon unforgettable. We will definitely be back!

Great escape! Staying at this resort was a truly great experience. The whole staff were super amazing and always ready to help, making our stay comfortable and memorable at all times. The food was delicious with a wide variety of options, perfectly suited for guests from all around the world. The crystal-clear beach right in front of the villas was absolutely stunning. There were plenty of water activities to enjoy, including scuba diving, snorkeling, and kayaking, which made the experience even more special. Much appreciated Johan for making all these activities a lifelong experience, we saw a different world under the water around the Island. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect beachside luxury and joyful getaway!
