Simply can not fault this destination. Rooms are spectacular and are serviced twice daily. I love the turn down service at night. Food and drinks are fabulous, great variety, mini bar is free, all the food is free, the main bar is free. There were a few extra dinners like the lobster night which we paid extra for but it was so worth it. The staff are just beautiful. Rada, & Nisha in the main restaurant was funny, engaging, and just great. Sayan in the main bar is outstanding. Making specific cocktails for us and just being a lovely human. The underwater restaurant was a great night out, our little handling fishing tour/sunset was fun and snorkelling tour was great. We simply can not fault this resort, location, people, food and just RELAXING for 7 days.

This review was a tad late, I like to do them pretty quick so things are fresh in my mind. However that's not really a problem here as Lobigili is truly unforgettable. From being greeted at the welcome point and stepping onto the boat to being dropped back off at Male the whole experience was nothing short of amazing. Our island host was Mechelle, who was always happy and willing to help and did a fantastic job of looking after us, she had already arranged some of our activities we swapped a couple of them around and it was always a pleasure to speak to her or drop a msg. Room was amazing, over water bungalow with lagoon view, it was always spotless and an amazing place to sit and relax, apart from the lapping of waves it was silent, Aircon was nice and cool, well stocked mini fridge. The island was having some minor works carried out but nothing that bothered us in the slightest, it's an amazing oasis so close to the airport. The reef and marine life is not as good as some of the further out island with house reef's, but there is still plenty to see and the smaller sharks are still in attendance. The trip snorkeling is definitely worth it and makes up for lack of a big house reef. The food, I have read some negative comments on the Indian and curry section, I'm at a loss to this because I had trouble walking past it to get anything else, we had been to Srilanka and it was better than anything we had whilst in Srilanka. The choice and quality in the main restaurant was amazing, the food truck was way better than what we were expecting, the underwater restaurant was also way better than we were expecting, we opted for the evening meal and the food and the illuminated reef around it was a great backdrop. I have also read people complaining that they were not allowed in for a look, it's a small well laid out restaurant but you can't spoil it by having folk just wandering around having a look, want to see it book a table. Drinks, had some amazing drinks and I can recommend the street coffee with added Bailey's, cocktails, beer, coffee all great quality, even little snacks in the afternoon. We did have a couple of minor negative things, biggest was probably, the re stocking of the snacks and the fridge it was a bit hit and miss, and we never once got towel art on the bed, our friends had the room next to us and didn't have those issues, I guess it was just down to who was doing the room The other thing was the canoes, they were great fun but we're warned one of them would sink slowly with a small leak 😂 we took them anyway and had a great time. That is it, everyone was so nice we didn't mention it as it really wasn't an issue, your never going hungry or thirsty. There are so many good things I've probably missed loads, so enjoy the photos, it's so nice we can't wait to go back and we are going back.

Such a beautiful island! Very peaceful and relaxing. Our service was incredible and our hostess, Alpi, was very helpful. We stayed in the sun nest water pool villa, which was beautiful and had such an amazing view of the ocean. We went during rainy season, so we didn’t get a ton of use out of the pool and wish it could have been heated during the windy days for more use. Most of the food menus were good and had plenty of options. The main bar was very laidback, although did not have many activities for later at night so we went to the other sister island to use our inclusive plan for the pool, bar and more upbeat nighttime activities a few days. The island was small, but this was helpful when walking between villas and dining and we were offered buggy rides often! We did a few included activities for our honeymoon, including the amazing spa treatments and snorkeling trip (even great to do off our balcony!).They had great touches such as romantic dinners, floating breakfasts and decorating the bed during turn down services. Overall, would very much recommend this island and stay for a romantic and relaxing trip. It was perfect for our honeymoon.

We spent 5 days in an overwater villa for our honeymoon and had the most amazing time. Both my husband and I were so impressed by OBLU Lobigili and it was even better than we had imagined. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and the outdoor bathroom/shower/hammock was our favorite part. You feel so in touch with nature and so relaxed here, an experience we haven’t felt elsewhere. The housekeeping staff was great and our room was cleaned twice a day and kept spotless. The island is beautiful with so much to do, from various beaches to snorkel, a lovely pool, plenty of spaces to lay out/lounge during the day either poolside or more privately on the beach, water sports, recreational activities, and a nice sized gym with fitness activities throughout the day. The app makes it easy to see the schedule and know what is going on, hours, as well as see menus of the various restaurants/bars. It is connected to the other side of the resort which is more family friendly which you have access to as well (although Lobigili is just for guests staying at Lobigili which is really nice). This gave some variety and we enjoyed being able to walk over there and just explore a new place during the day and gives some variety to the trip as well. The most impressive part was the food! I am a pretty tough food critic and usually never stay at all inclusive because I love having GOOD food on vacation and usually all inclusive aren’t that great. This place was AMAZING and we still talk about how we miss various dishes we had or all the options we had for each meal. You will not go hungry and the food is all freshly cooked, so many options for all different types of cuisines, and we never felt bored of the options over the 6 days we were there. One of the most unique aspects was the island host you get for your stay. Ours was Maryem and she was absolutely amazing! She helped schedule our massage, dinner, and excursions and checked in on us each day to see how things were, remind us of our daily itinerary, and share the resorts itinerary of events for the day. She was so kind and really made our trip memorable. And that goes for the rest of the staff too, everyone was so kind and always greeted you with a smile and really took the time to get to know you. I highly recommend this resort if coming to the Maldives, we can’t wait to go back!

This was the most fantastic holiday in a fantastic location and with top quality service. This was our first time in the Maldives and Lobigili lived up to every expectation. The Staff were brilliant from our hostess, Alpi, the restaurant and bar staff, and not forgetting the room service and maintenance staff. This is a perfect location for a child free adult only holiday. Thank you everyone at Lobigili!
