We spent the final days of our honeymoon at OBLU SELECT Sangeli in a Water Villa, and it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable trip. The island is beautiful, the snorkeling was fantastic, and we especially enjoyed the fishing excursion. Every experience was well organized and helped create wonderful memories. We would like to thank Aiham and the entire reception team for their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we always felt welcomed and looked after. We would also like to recognize the excellent service provided by the restaurant team, the pool bar staff, and the housekeeping team. It is impossible to remember every name because so many people contributed to making our stay special, but everyone was attentive, friendly, and always smiling. A special mention goes to Tore, who introduced us to Rainbow Fish grilled Maldivian-style. It was absolutely delicious and one of the culinary highlights of our trip. All the chefs and culinary professionals were outstanding and made every meal a pleasure. Thank you to everyone at OBLU SELECT Sangeli for making the final chapter of our honeymoon so memorable. The combination of the beautiful island, the Water Villa, the activities, the food, and the exceptional hospitality made this a truly unforgettable experience. We hope to return one day.

We had a wonderful stay and, overall, our experience was honestly a 10/10. The resort, the service, the facilities and the staff were excellent throughout our stay. That is why the check-out experience was particularly disappointing. Our transfer was several hours after we had to leave the room, but when we checked out nobody explained whether we could shower or what facilities were available to us while we waited. In fact, we only found out that shower facilities were available because we overheard the receptionist next to us explaining it to another couple during their check-out. The gentleman who assisted us simply gave us a satisfaction survey and charged us the outstanding amount from the shop, without giving us any information about what we could do during the following hours. Of course, we completely understand that rooms need to be vacated at a certain time. However, in a luxury resort of this standard, we believe the guest experience should be cared for until the very end, especially when guests are required to remain on the island for several hours after check-out. It is a shame because everything else was excellent, but this final part slightly affected the last impression of what had otherwise been an outstanding stay. In a high-end resort, it is not only how you welcome your guests that matters, but also how you say goodbye.

Great stay in Maldives. Excellent staff, especially in the restaurants. Just great to be there. They make everything possible, they take special care for kids, so everyone feels welcomed. It was sad to leave the island after almost two weeks. Snorkeling was also great. Saw turtles, sharks and rays and the house reef.

We had such a wonderful experience at **OBLU SELECT Sangeli**, and I would absolutely recommend this resort for a honeymoon, anniversary, or any special getaway. We stayed in an **overwater villa with a private pool**, and it was beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly private. The villa itself was amazing, but one of our favorite parts of the trip was snorkeling around the resort. The **corals, colorful fish, and marine life were absolutely incredible** and made the experience even more memorable. We also really enjoyed the tours and activities offered by the resort. The **food was excellent** throughout our stay, with plenty of delicious options, but what truly took our experience to another level was the staff. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely made us feel cared for. A very special thank you to **Rahul Srivastav** and **Tori, who was making the pizza and pasta**. They were both absolutely wonderful. They were incredibly attentive, friendly, and really took the time to connect with the guests rather than simply providing service. Whenever we needed or requested something, they always made sure it was taken care of. Their kindness and hospitality made such a difference in our stay and made us feel very welcomed. Our **room attendants were also amazing**. Our villa was always beautifully maintained, clean, and comfortable, and we truly appreciated all the care and effort they put into making our stay relaxing. From the gorgeous villa and incredible snorkeling to the food, activities, and especially the amazing staff, our stay at OBLU SELECT Sangeli was unforgettable. The people here are what really make the resort special. We would definitely recommend OBLU SELECT Sangeli and would happily return in the future. Our stay at OBLU Select Sangeli exceeded even our wildest expectations. From the very first welcome, through the breathtaking views, the high standard of the villa, and ending with the outstanding food — everything was simply exceptional. I could easily praise the cocktails, the incredible variety of dishes at the Courtyard restaurant, or the stunning surroundings of the island itself. However, the true value of this resort lies in its people. The team made it possible for us to simply relax and enjoy life. Everyone was unbelievably kind, warm, and genuinely caring — always with natural, non-intrusive hospitality at every stage of our stay. From check-in, to the amazing Courtyard restaurant team (waiters and chefs alike), and especially Amir, who took wonderful care of our villa — everyone was helpful, engaged, and truly invested in making our stay special. Without a doubt, this is the best resort we have ever stayed at as a family. Before coming to the Maldives, I had some concerns that it might feel artificial or focused on showing off luxury. Our stay at OBLU completely changed that — we fell in love not only with this resort, but with the Maldives as a whole. Leaving was incredibly hard. Truly — sad, sad, and sad again to go. See you again!
