This resort is outstanding from start to finish. We had an amazing experience and enjoyed every moment of our stay. Our wonderful experience started from the moment we arrived at the airport, where we were warmly greeted by Khatija and her colleagues. They were kind, friendly and looked after us extremely well. They made sure we got onto the boat safely and kindly helped us with our luggage, which was very much appreciated. Their warm welcome made us feel special and well cared for from the very beginning. From the moment we arrived at the resort, we continued to feel warmly welcomed and special. The reception team, restaurant team and housekeeping team were all kind and attentive. A special mention must go to Chef Roshan, who looked after the Asian/Chinese cuisine, as well as the Indian cuisine chef. Their delicious food and warm hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. The manager, Abubakar, was also very pleasant to speak with and accommodating to all our needs and concerns. His kindness and willingness to help were greatly appreciated. The resort itself is beautiful, spacious and very well maintained. We loved seeing the lush plants throughout the resort and the little creatures roaming around freely — everything felt peaceful and natural. The water was clean and crystal clear, making it easy to spot baby sharks and different types of fish. The ocean was calm and pristine, with beautiful white sand that was soft and smooth under our feet. It was wonderful to swim in the clear water, and we always felt safe and relaxed. All of these wonderful experiences made our stay truly pleasant, memorable and special. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We had an amazing honeymoon at OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi! From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything was exceptionally well organized. We stayed in a Sunset Water Villa on the inner side of the resort, and it was absolutely perfect. The views were breathtaking, the sunsets were unforgettable, and the water was calm and crystal clear. If possible, we highly recommend requesting a water villa on the inner side of the island, as the outer side is much more exposed to wind and waves, making it less enjoyable for swimming and relaxing. The resort itself is stunning, with excellent facilities, a huge swimming pool overlooking the ocean, and spectacular scenery everywhere. The food exceeded our expectations, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options every day. The drinks and cocktails were also excellent, and the all-inclusive package offered fantastic value. What truly made our honeymoon special was the staff. Every member of the team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with a smile. Their hospitality made us feel at home throughout our stay. The only areas that could be improved are the Wi-Fi, which was quite slow and unreliable at times, and the hot water in our villa, which was not always consistently available or at the right temperature. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable holiday in the Maldives. We would definitely love to come back!

Unforgettable Family Stay at OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi! We spent 4 nights at OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi, and it was a wonderful experience! It is a beautiful, budget-friendly resort that offers great value for money in the Maldives. Our family room was comfortable, spacious, and nicely designed. One of the absolute highlights of our trip was the underwater restaurant—it was an incredible dining experience that we all thoroughly enjoyed! The resort has plenty of fun water activities to offer. Our kids had a fantastic time at the Kids Club and especially loved playing with Nahu, who was amazing with them! Overall, it’s a wonderful resort for families looking for an affordable yet memorable Maldivian getaway. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed 5 days and 4 nights at a beautiful resort in Ailafushi, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed, cared for, and completely relaxed. Every interaction felt warm and genuine, and the service was consistently top-notch. The island itself is stunning — crystal-clear water, soft white sand, and a peaceful atmosphere that instantly puts you in vacation mode. Our room was spotless, modern, and designed to make the most of the ocean views. Housekeeping did an amazing job keeping everything fresh and tidy throughout our stay. The food options were excellent, with plenty of variety and delicious dishes at each meal. Whether it was breakfast by the beach or dinner under the stars, every dining experience felt special. The resort also offered great activities: snorkeling, water sports, evening entertainment, and beautiful spots to relax and take photos. Everything was well-organized and easy to join. Overall, our 5-day stay was nothing short of perfect. If you’re looking for a Maldives resort that combines comfort, great service, and breathtaking surroundings, Ailafushi is the place to go. Managing expectations is key when reviewing this property. If you understand the hotel’s actual category, the overall experience is quite good. However, it is important to note that this is very far from being a luxury hotel. You will not find highly personalized service here, and while the food is completely fine, it is not high-end or premium quality. ​That being said, the hotel excels in several core areas: ​Cleanliness & Facilities: The property is exceptionally clean throughout, and the overall facilities are excellent and well-maintained. ​Staff: The team is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely polite. ​Dining Variety: While the food quality is standard, the main restaurant offers a great, extensive variety of options to choose from. ​Areas for Improvement (All-Inclusive Plan): ​No Between-Meal Snacks: Be aware that the all-inclusive package does not include any snacks between standard meal times. ​Bar Service Bottlenecks: The hotel features only one bar. Because of this, service can become incredibly slow during peak hours when crowds gather and the limited bartenders face high demand. ​The Verdict: A highly recommended choice for families or travelers looking for a clean, friendly, and reliable mid-range option—just don't expect a boutique or luxury resort experience.
