Just came back from a great week at Ozen Bolifushi as a family with two kids (2 and 8) and here are some of the pro and cons of the stay: Pros - Very convenient from the airport, 30mn by speedboat. You don't wait too much in comparison to when you have to take a seaplane. Also return was very smooth. We got late checkout and left the room straight to the boat. No waiting. - Resort is very well maintained, facilities are great (gym, spa, kids club), restaurants are great, especially Soyi and staff is nice and helpful. - Water villas are really nice and well maintained, we took the villa with slide the last days and everyone had a blast! - The souvenirs/arts shop is wonderful, but more especially, the guy who works there, Amin (I think). My daughter would go there multiple times a day just to see him, or do some art like epoxy resine or painting coconuts. - Great and easy snorkeling around the Spa area - Some shoutouts to outstanding staff: Amin the artist of the shop; Roger, the Chinese Federer :) - we really enjoyed exchanging with you and the great service; restaurant staff Haleef, Sainka, Ahmed, Echo, the nice sushiman, and the lady from the pool bar :). Thank you so much for making our stay better! Cons - Unfortunately, our toddler did not want to stay at the kids club. We felt that there was not so much effort done on the part of the ladies to try to "win her over". We would really have appreciated more efforts which would have enabled us to have some free hours as a couple. - Not so many sealife to see when strolling around in comparison to places in Baa atoll for instance, where we were used to constantly sea nursesharks and sting rays on the shore, but great snorkeling you go to the beautiful reef near the Spa. - Lots of mosquitoes (but same in other islands..)

This is our first time to the Maldives. I was a bit wary about hidden costs for meals and activities etc so I chose this resort as it is all inclusive . It’s 30 min by boat from the airport which was very convenient . I preferred this to a seaplane which would be contingent upon weather . I’ve heard some resorts food isn’t great but even my foodie family ate and were satisfied . We took an overwater villa with a slide which the kids loved . The villa has three separate doors opening out to the deck which was very convenient . There were also 2 separate sofa beds for my kids so no one had to share . Theres a turn down and cleaning service at night . Would recommend for a family holiday

He made every meal special and unforgettable, and his kindness and professionalism left a lasting impression on us. Chef Mostafa turned our vacation into something extraordinary. We are sincerely grateful for his dedication, kindness, and excellence. He is a major reason we look forward to returning. Alia, our butler, was absolutely exceptional. Her attention to every detail, her warm personality, and her constant readiness to help made our entire experience seamless and comfortable. She anticipated our needs before we even asked and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. She is a true gem and an irreplaceable part of our wonderful trip. five stars for you guys are not enough!

the rooms are spectacular, they seem a lot smaller in pictures but in reality they are huge. there are some snacks in the maxi bar that are manufactured by the hotel, I really recommend trying spicy beetroot. also every villa has a complimentary bike, amazing! there is a lot of wildlife on the island, apart from a few triggerfishes, it’s all quite friendly. i personally loved grey herons and waterhens the most. i would warn you to bring coral shoes since there are a lot of small broken corals in the shallow waters. though the reefs are breathtaking, really. so full of life and very diverse. once i saw a manta ray swimming in shallow waters. also i highly recommend going shark snorkeling, its unforgettable and there would probably be rays as well. our butler Marzhan did an amazing job, really big thanks to her! the service on the reserve is top tier, no complaints at all. everybody is very friendly and willing to help. food is another thing that i want to give a shotout to. really tasty and chefs usually come to talk to you after your meal. every time you dine you feel like you are in a michelin star restaurant, really. all restaurants have amazing unique interiors. spa is great, it smells amazing in here and the overwater booth really make it a delightfull experience. if you are traveling with kids, i’d say this place is a good fit as well. there is a large kids club and all dining options prodive kid friendly menu i would highly recommend visiting. also please note that the winds here are pretty strong in january on the sunrise side of the island and it can be a bit inconvenient when you want to swim.

Amazing experience that has the full package : services, food and private villas. The amazing staff of Ozen from the airport greeting to every single details is more than welcoming . To mention a few Arjun, Hasan, Leroy, Samir along with the Tunisian chef up to Christopher the Hotel manager they all were very personal in dealing with our family and “Yes We Can” was the main attraction of the whole visit . Must visit resort for families
