Wow!!! There is no words to describe my feelings and this fabulous experience!! Honestly, one of the best resorts I have ever stayed in. Everything in this resort is amazing. We stayed in a beach villa for the first 4 nights and move to an overwater villa for the remaining 3 nights which really nice. Clean sand, sea and amazing facilities. The service is top class. I would like to thank our essentialist Amnee who was truly a great person who was able to manage everything we asked for. Also, special thanks to Leo from Portico resturent for his high level of hospitality! Also, an appreciation to Footprint "kids club" stuff who were very helpful and took care of our daughters. Fabian from the diving center for the unique diving experience and Afsal the trainer who gave me such great recommendation to maintain my back and nick flexibility. We had a fabulous first stay of 5 nights at Patina Maldives, which was greatly enhanced by the exceptional efforts made by Choris Rusdiana and her colleagues (Ahu, Aiman, Moona, Monty, Roni, Ripee, Jessica and others). On our first night, we enjoyed a very special dinner with Choris and friends on the beach, with delectable Asian food from Wok Society, including the very special Peking Duck. (Thank you, Aiman!) Every meal brought new surprises, such as a Maldivian breakfast feast, a full English breakfast, an Asian breakfast, Indian Dosa and other specialities we might not have tried on our own. Everything was delicious, and we usually had to skip lunch because we’d eaten so well at breakfast. The array of food available at Portico was amazing, and everything was fresh and beautifully presented. You would need a good couple of weeks to sample your way through everything, and then you’d need to buy a new wardrobe! We enjoyed dinner at Farine (with an off-menu request for seafood pasta with Alfredo sauce that was happily catered for), Fari Beach Club for delicious sashimi, and a magnificent sunset “castaway dinner” on a floating platform in the lagoon in front of Portico on our last night. Many thanks to Anjil for taking beautiful photographs of our castaway dinner, creating everlasting memories of a special evening. Our essentialist Jalaal handled our various requests promptly and with good humour. My husband had a somatic massage by the visiting doctor, and I enjoyed a relaxing and therapeutic Japanese Watsu treatment in the spa pool exclusively used for that purpose. We visited the neighbouring Ritz-Carlton Maldives for a couple of lunches with friends and enjoyed the Eau Bar’s offerings in particular. Our beach pool villa was very spacious, stylish, comfortable, clean and quiet, with full privacy from the neighbouring villas provided by dense foliage. Thank you to Jailam, our room attendant, for keeping everything so immaculate. Patina is on a larger island than many other resort islands, and we enjoyed exploring it on bike and seeing the featured artwork. We loved every minute of our stay and very much hope we can return next year for a longer visit. Huge gratitude to Choris and Ahu in particular for making our first visit so special and memorable. 🫶

Service was incredible. Everyone is friendly. Our butler Laamey was outstanding! Everything we needed he was there. When we were by the pool every day our server Adlet was incredible. Very funny quick and efficient, made everything feel like a true paradise. Ill be visiting again definitely!

I have visited Maldives many times, but this is my first time at Patina. The resort itself is nice, and well designed, with plenty of activities and things to do. The room was nice but not exceptional. It was comfortable and well maintained, but it did not feel particularly “wow” compared to other resorts with lower price range. I would strongly recommend avoiding the sunrise overwater villas the waves are quite strong and there are many rocks in the water, which makes swimming difficult and not very enjoyable. Food is a strong point of the resort. There is a good variety of restaurants, and the quality of the food is genuinely very good across the outlets. ‏Service and guest experience, however, were average to below average (some times very stressful). There were a couple of instances that suggested either the team is still learning how to manage guest expectations, or that this level of service represents the resort’s current standard. Overall, while Patina has many positives, I don’t think I would repeat the visit again, there are better options available in the Maldives that offer a stronger overall experience specially if your looking for stress free holiday.

Our stay was wonderful. Everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail, making it a memorable experience. Our butler Sardor is a wonderful person, always quick and ready to accommodate our every request. Thanks to him the stay was even more unforgettable. The room was beautiful, silent, and always very clean. So.. stunning location, breathtaking views, excellent cuisine. All the chefs and waiters were kind and friendly. Special thanks to Chef Kashyapa for his excellent advice and his exceptional kindness. We will definitely be back! See you soon 😍 Thank you!!
