We've just enjoyed 2 wonderful weeks at Rostrevor in St Lawrence Gap. We loved it and this was largely down to the amazing service we received from Natalie, Sharifah, Janise and of course our lovely maid Mavis. All these ladies were very warm and friendly and more than happy to help us. Mavis cleaned our room every single day to a very high standard - she's such a nice person too. Natalie on reception greeted us with warmth when we checked in and continued to be happy, friendly and approachable throughout. Sharifah was so helpful, she even found out when our transfers were arriving as Virgin didn't send us the info, she even gave us a big hug as we got picked up which was such genuine warmth. Janise was really efficient and helped me a lot with local knowledge of shops etc. Sherry Ann cleaned our room in Mavis's days off and was extremely nice and efficient too. Even the main security guard was a really nice guy, and when you see the other maids they're friendly. The rooms were good, of decent size. My only issue would be we didn't have a double bed and the pillows are a little small. It's not a modern hotel but we were very comfortable and it was very clean. Decent pool area and bar. Excellent location for the bars on The Gap. Quite a few parking spaces for rental cars. I wish we didn't have to come home! Hope to return again soon!

Really good value hotel, exactly what we wanted. Clean, rooms are big and the view is amazing. Pool area is great with lots of beds and bar is good value. Yes outside is a little noisy (would suggest asking to be on the north side of the building to the right of the reception) so that you don’t here the karaoke as much

Convenient location with close proximity to bars and restaurants. A five minute walk to Dover Beach and ten minutes to Oistins market. Rooms were a good size and there was good water pressure. On site laundry facilities were available. It is dated as a hotel but it was clean. Air conditioning was good and we were expecting noise from previous reviews but we didn't experience any.

Hotel Rostrevor REVIEW We stayed in the hotel Rostrevor for 8 days in December 2025 and I thought of sharing my experience. In summary we loved the place and it’s an excellent establishment. The Hotel is in an area called St. Lawrence Gap very popular among tourists. Loads of good restaurants around. Also dover beach is 5-7 minutes’ walk. We chose this hotel for three reasons 1. The sea view – it’s absolutely breath taking. We were in room 414. There is a very small beach in front of the hotel and nice managed gardens and clean walkways. So, you can enjoy the sea from anywhere. 2. The hotel offers a small kitchenette – that really helped. We tried to have one meal a day on our room and one outside. Kitchen had a 2-hob stove, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, coffee machine basic plates, glasses, cutlery, some cooking utensils etc. They also provided cleaning liquid, kitchen towel etc. 3. This room had 2 queen size bed. Which was better than to have a sofa bed for a 15-year-old for 8 days. And I thought our decision was right. This is a very good 3* hotel. It’s not a 5* hotel. There were some concerns about noise at evenings etc but we did not have much problem. The restaurants on the site are nice and offers variety. The pool is very nice and big enough for swim. All the staff is fantastic. Especially housekeeping is amazing. Daily cleaning, change of towels, change of beach towels on demand etc were great help. Normal check out is 12 pm but they allowed us 1 hour extra. They were ok with it. There is laundry on the site. And you can buy tokens for 5USD. It was very helpful. Every time we came from the beach we brought a lot of sand with us. Sunset was absolutely breath-taking. We could see it from the hotel but not from our room. But there are some rooms from which you can possibly see the sunset. Overall I would give 5 starts to the hotel. We had fantastic time and we loved the place.

Everything is pretty good when it comes to the actual hotel itself, and the location would be great....if the bar DIRECTLY across the street didn't have a loud speaker pointed directly at the hotel and did karaoke every night until 12. It's unbearable. Don't come here if you like to sleep at a somewhat normal time.
