Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa – Overwater Villa I recently stayed at Sheraton Full Moon Maldives in one of their Overwater Villas, and it was a truly memorable experience. The villa was beautifully designed, clean, and well-maintained — offering direct access to the crystal-clear waters and stunning panoramic views of the ocean. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect escape for relaxation and rejuvenation. The staff throughout the resort were generally excellent — friendly, helpful, and attentive. They handled all requests promptly and with professionalism. A special mention goes to the hotel management team, especially Mr. Megan and a few others, who went above and beyond to resolve a minor incident during our stay. Their approach was calm, respectful, and solution-focused, which left a very positive impression. Most of the team displayed great hospitality, especially at reception, housekeeping, and concierge. However, the only slight downside was at "The Feast" dining area, where a few staff members appeared less engaging and rarely smiled — a contrast to the otherwise warm and welcoming service standard across the resort. Overall, I highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a luxurious yet serene getaway in the Maldives. The exceptional setting, well-kept facilities, and strong service culture (with minor room for improvement at the buffet restaurant) make it a destination worth visiting.

Our stay at Sheraton Full Moon Maldives was truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. The location is perfect—just 15 minutes from Malé Airport, making the transfer super quick and convenient. From the moment we entered the resort, we were greeted warmly by the lovely Sheraton staff with refreshing welcome drinks. Ali, who assisted us initially, gave us a detailed briefing about our package and the resort. He also took us around on a buggy tour and showed us all the amenities included in our stay. He was extremely helpful throughout. After that, Ali connected us with our manager Mr. Ankit Deshwal via WhatsApp. One of the best things about this resort is the fast, free Wi-Fi available across the entire island. Everything is handled through a simple text message—whether you want to order something, request a buggy, or need any assistance. The service is truly world-class. A big thank you to Ankit, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We also want to give special appreciation to Abdul, the buggy driver. He was extremely polite, very informative, and always available to take us anywhere on the resort whenever we needed. His helpful nature truly added to our experience. We had opted for the Full Board package, and we loved every cuisine the resort offered—Indian, Mexican, Thai, Seafood, Mediterranean, and more. The breakfast and dinner buffet at Feast Restaurant was amazing. The staff there is extremely polite, humble, and respectful. Special appreciation to the chefs at the crepe, Indian, and Chinese counters—they made sure every dish suited our taste buds. The resort itself is stunning—beautiful views from all four sides. We stayed in the Ocean Villa with a private pool, and it was absolutely top-notch. Clean, luxurious, and offering an incredible ocean view with an infinity pool. We enjoyed every moment of it. Overall, a purely blissful and unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Maldives. 🌴💙✨

As others have said this island is fantastic. It’s 20 minute speed boat ride from the airport. Which is great after a long flight. The staff are friendly and attentive and always happy to help, the rooms are fantastic and the beach and activities also great. I read a few reviews about people complaining that the resort doesn’t have its own reef, which is true. But I saw an abundance of life in the water which included Black Tip reef sharks and sting rays. The day trips they offer are very nice, we went on the snorkelling safari and the dolphin cruise. I 100% recommend these! We went with breakfast only as the half / full board and all inclusive deals aren’t maybe what you think they are. There are several exclusions that you have to pay for on top, or maybe you only get an amount towards your final bill. We drank well, ate well and worked out we were $40 per person better off per night by only going breakfast only. That being said the breakfast is amazing and the restaurants are great. Highly recommend the Indian. The spa was very nice, again lovely staff and a very relaxing experience. I wish we had time for another massage before we left. It was a fantastic holiday, I just wish I could have stayed longer!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Maldives! The resort is absolutely beautiful, the atmosphere is amazing, and the ocean is simply stunning. 🌴💙 At first, we stayed in a Deluxe Room, which honestly wasn’t as clean as we expected. Later, we moved to a Water Villa with a pool, and that was a completely different experience – very clean, comfortable, and overall fantastic. The service throughout the resort is excellent! A huge shoutout to Layaan and Shamraan from the bar – they welcomed us warmly every evening and always went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Also, a big thank you to Maaee, who took great care of us and was always available whenever we needed something. The food was delicious and of great quality – we enjoyed every meal. There are also plenty of water activities to do, so you’ll never get bored during the day. One small downside is that for younger guests, there’s not much to do late in the evening. After 11 PM, there’s no more food available unless you order room service, which isn’t included in the all-inclusive package. That’s a bit different from what we’re used to from other all-inclusive resorts. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for relaxation, great service, and a beautiful island experience. 🌅✨

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Maldives and truly loved the resort itself. The grounds are beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and professional. Under normal circumstances I would have happily given this resort a much higher rating. However, I am leaving 2 stars solely because of what I consider false advertising around the “all-inclusive” package. When I paid for all-inclusive, I expected exactly that — not one meal per set time with restrictions that were never made clear at booking. After finishing dinner at the Thai restaurant (which already had desserts unavailable), I was surprised to be told I could not go to the main buffet afterwards to simply have a dessert. That is not “all-inclusive” by any reasonable definition. I raised this issue with staff, but despite complaining, no action was taken, and no solution or compensation was offered. For the price paid and the promise of an all-inclusive experience, this was extremely disappointing. Because of this, I will be applying for a chargeback with my bank, as I believe I was effectively charged for full board while being sold something advertised as all-inclusive. It’s a shame, because the resort and staff are wonderful — but the misleading package and lack of response to my complaint made the experience feel deceptive. If you are considering staying here, I strongly recommend clarifying in detail what their “all-inclusive” actually includes before booking.
