I visited with my family and we had a wonderful time. The buffet breakfast was excellent, and the staff were all friendly, welcoming, and very attentive. The kids' club was a great bonus-it features a small playground and an indoor play area that kept the little ones entertained. The resort also offers complimentary kayaking and paddle boarding, which we really enjoyed. My only complaint is the ocean-facing swimming pool. The pool floor is quite rocky and sharp, making it easy to get hurt and uncomfortable to walk on. As others have mentioned, the rooms are a bit dated, but overall the stay was still very enjoyable. The location is another plus-just a quick 15-minute drive from the airport, with plenty of restaurants and activities right across the street.

Highly Recommend This Hotel in Koh Samui. The room is very clean, and every staff member truly has a service-minded heart. Their professionalism and kindness made my stay wonderful with the beautiful quiet beach in front of the hotel. The location is super convenient, close to 7-Eleven, massage shops, and the local markets. It’s also easy to travel from here to any beach on the island. I was especially impressed with the breakfast team, they were so friendly, warm smile and attentive. The garden here is beautiful and well-kept, and the resort is very clean overall. There’s also a good-size gym for those who like to stay active while traveling, plus a shuttle service that can take you around the resort. You can also enjoy a relaxing walk and get some light exercise inside the property. There’s also a shuttle service that can take you around the property, or you can enjoy a nice walk and get some exercise inside the resort. If you’re coming to Koh Samui, I truly recommend staying here. You’ll feel relaxed, well taken care of, and surrounded by natural beauty. 🌴✨

The best hotel experience I’ve ever had! Sheraton Samui Resort deserves a 100/100. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and truly exceptional. They helped me with absolutely everything for my marriage proposal — from flowers and balloons to the food, setup, and the entire amazing atmosphere. I am deeply grateful for their support and dedication. The hotel itself is stunning — beautifully designed, very clean, and perfectly maintained. The vibe is relaxing, the facilities are top-notch, and every detail feels premium. An unforgettable stay and a place absolutely worth visiting. Highly recommended!

We spent 12 nights in Sheraton Samui and we had such an incredible time, it’s a perfect place to be in Koh Samui, quiet with a private beach which is one of the most beautiful corners of the island but still very close to Chaweng and the fishermen’s village, they have 2 pools, one more private and the other right on the beach, a lot of towels and sun beds of all kinds scattered around, the crew are all super nice and going above and beyond to cover for tour every need, from the reception through the waiters and to the security, all were exceptional!. Before I came, I read about the hotel being old, I didn’t feel it at all, the room was in great condition, maybe not brand new but obviously you can’t expect a resort to renovate twice a month. The bed was very comfortable and the internet was decent. The food at the breakfast was great and very much like any 5 start hotel, while every day they have some changing dishes, some are Thai and some of other nationalities, the fruit variety was vast and of good quality and the coffee was decent. The food and cocktails at the bar and restaurant were also very good and the prices are very reasonable with a nice happy hour every afternoon and a lot of treats like watermelons and popsicles during the day. We will be back for sure, perfect vacation!

The resort clearly shows its age—it was built in the mid-1980s, and that’s evident throughout. Guests should set expectations accordingly. The weakest point for me was the bathroom, which felt very dated with its orange-yellow tiles, dark counters, and basic fixtures that lacked any modern touch. The pools also carry a distinctly retro vibe from the late ’80s or early ’90s, though they were spotless and well looked after. On the brighter side, the gardens and outdoor areas were lovely and carefully maintained, and the staff were consistently welcoming, professional, and eager to assist. The beachfront was pristine and well organized, with plenty of comfortable loungers always available, and convenient food and drink service through a simple phone QR code. The dining options were average—nothing to rave about, but nothing disappointing either—with attentive service throughout. The hotel sits on Chaweng Noi Beach, a quieter, more secluded area that still offers easy access to the livelier Chaweng Beach within a short taxi ride. Nearby, there’s a 7-Eleven, a pharmacy, and a few local spots to eat or grab a drink. Overall, while the property is dated in appearance, the combination of location, service, and price makes it a solid and worthwhile choice for a relaxed stay.
