We spent 4 nights at Summer Island Maldives for our honeymoon, traveling from Turkey. The island is convenient to reach—just a 45-minute speedboat ride from the airport. Note for travelers from Turkey: Make sure to complete this required form before arrival: [https://imuga.immigration.gov.mv/] Upon landing, we were met at Terminal 2, Counter A10, and transferred smoothly via speedboat. ​The island is compact and charming; you can walk around the entire place in about 20 minutes. Despite its size, we never felt bored as it offers great amenities like table tennis, a gym, badminton, and a prayer room (masjid). The infinity pool was beautiful. The beach had a few rough, rocky patches in certain areas which was a bit inconvenient, but it didn't ruin our experience. ​The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Jaynal at Samuga Restaurant and Laxmi at Hiya Restaurant for their warm hospitality! ​A few suggestions for improvement: ​Turkish Coffee at Nevi Bar would be a fantastic addition! :) ​Since it’s a small island, the activity options are somewhat limited; adding more engaging events would elevate the experience. ​Food choices: For guests from Turkey or those not accustomed to heavy curry and cumin flavors, the cuisine might be a bit challenging. ​Overall, a wonderful honeymoon stay!

From start to finish everything was perfect, we stayed in a Superior beach villa, room was attended to twice a day and water and coffee always replenished. Whilst there we decided to stay for an extra 3 days, we moved to a water villa which was also beautiful. We opted for half board due to going to a wedding when we were coming back home, no weight gain was essential 🤣 In the restaurants we were always served by Akmal who was excellent, we were also looked after by Rafaah who gave us all the information we needed. Yes transfer is a little expensive but remember it’s the Maldives and nothing is really cheap, saying that the Old Fashioned cocktail $12 was cheaper than at home. We had a fab time and all the staff were excellent. Food high quality, snacks available and 2 restaurants, 1 buffet and 1 Semi buffet, we used the Semi buffet for 2 weeks and the change in menu was daily. Small island which you can walk round in 30-40 mins, you get peace and quiet which was what we wanted. Will definitely be back in the near future. Thank you.

I had a wonderful stay at Summer Island Maldives. The island is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained. The beaches, crystal-clear water, and stunning views make it a truly special place. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The food was delicious, and the overall service was excellent. Specially Mr Rafeeq who used to serve us in samuga restaurant. ALot of thanks to him. He cared us v kindly and make our stay special. Everything was well organized, and the atmosphere was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of the Maldives. It was a memorable experience, and I would definitely love to visit Summer Island Maldives again.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 7 nights it was beautiful. The nature is breathtaking, blue water, a lot of animals like parrots or geckos. We even saw some rays and reef sharks. What really stood out were the friendly staff. They were so attentive and we felt really well taken care of. They also checked on us from time to time if we have everything or need more water or something else. The food was also very good. The buffet changed a bit everyday and there were many options from traditional cultural food to some classics like pizza. The rooms were clean and very well air conditioned. It’s a small isle but they had quite a lot of options for activities from action to relaxing there was a lot. You could snorkel or dive with instructors or you could rent a kayak, stand up board or jet ski. We did a snorkelling tour and it was great the instructors did a good job to take care of our safety and did inform us about the animals we saw. In the spa they had a lot of options for massages we took the back massage it was so relaxing. Really sounds to perfect but we had nothing to complain about. It was a excellent value for money. We would love to come back.
