Our stay at Taj Maldives was nothing short of incredible. The hospitality was truly next level—warm, thoughtful, and consistently exceptional. A special thanks to Abigail, Puvanan, and Madhu for making us feel so welcome. I wish I could remember every name because the entire team was fantastic. The food was absolutely amazing, and the cocktails are truly to die for. A special mention to Kanika, the manager may be the senior or the general manager, whose attention and care made the experience even more memorable. Thank you for making our stay so special!

I absolutely loved this hotel and was truly impressed by the staff. 🤍 Everyone on the island — from housekeeping to the bartenders, lifeguards, and reception — plays a huge role in making this place so special and welcoming. The highlight of our stay was the location of our water villa. It was beautiful, spotless, and very well maintained, with cleaning twice a day and a regularly restocked minibar. The staff were always kind, polite, and attentive. Our villa had direct access to a pristine reef, and the hotel provides snorkelling masks, allowing us to enjoy the stunning coral and colourful fish right from the villa. I would also like to give special mention to Jhowana and Ibrahim at the bar. Jhowana, in particular, deserves special mention — she has an incredible ability to know exactly which cocktail will suit each guest. She is warm, positive, and above all, a true professional. Having people like her on the team makes the entire experience even more relaxing and enjoyable. 😊 I highly recommend this hotel — a perfect choice for a relaxing holiday. 10/10.

We spent absolutely fantastic days at this wonderful resort. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with drums, which made the welcome feel festive and unforgettable. The entire property is very clean, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by lush greenery. Our room was cleaned twice a day, which made our stay extremely comfortable. The staff were incredibly attentive and kind throughout our stay. I especially want to highlight the amazing restaurant team — Imali, Madu, Beam, Hussain, Reehan, and Afan — who made every meal special. Their warm attitude and professionalism truly stood out. We enjoyed trying different world cuisines, including Chinese, Indian, and of course European dishes. I was pleasantly surprised when they even prepared borsch for me — it tasted fantastic! Thank you for making our vacation so memorable. We would love to return again!

We had a good stay at Taj Coral Reef, however I wouldn’t consider it an amazing one. Starting with positives: - Food, food and food. I have to say - it was marvelous. Especially at their main restaurant which also had an amazing service. I will definitely miss some of the dishes served to us here. If you are a foodie - great place to be at! - The surrounding waters were perfect for sport activities and snorkeling. The underwater world was really captivating - The crew from the diving center was super nice. Also, the hotel offers 20 mins free canoe, SUP and some other activity + free snorkeling gear so nice to try different things out. - The photography crew was also super nice and took some beautiful pictures of us. Packages were too pricy, 200$ for 10 digital pictures is pretty crazy in my opinion. - The staff overall deserves a special shoutout (minus the ladies from the reception) - the waiters, the diving and photography crew - all were awesome and super nice! Now off to the things we didn’t really like: - the resort is pretty worn down and is just old. It doesn’t give off the feel of being in a paradise, rather in some random remote hotel. Definitely not a 5 star look and feel. The room smelled old as well. - I think the reception onboarding could be better. When we asked the lady who was taking us to the room on whether they provide trial of canoe for free she said she doesn’t know and it depends on our package. When we went to the diving center, it was a standard offer for all the guests so I’m not sure why she didn’t mention that. Apparently there was also some discount on the SPA but this wasn’t mentioned either. Would be nice if they proactively shared all that resort has to offer within the package. - Given we were on a private island, I’d expect female hygiene products to be provided. Instead was sent to their boutique and asked to pay 16$ for a small pack of tampons. At least make them market price and don’t charge x5 the amount from a store given that’s the only option people have, I thought that was ridiculous. - Plastic bottled water. Insane amounts of them used daily, I don’t get how any 5 star resort could still be using plastic this way. It also does not help in maintaining a premium look as plastic bottle accompanying a nice dinner looks just cheap.

What a majestic time - room 125 6 nights - exceptional time we spent and made amazing memories. Highlight for me was the views and the staff - special mention to Imani - Hussain - Ibrahim and the lovely lady from the bar and the grill restaurant. I met the chef and Nitin the GM also - exceptional team - they make relationships with guests and no wonder people come back. I would like to mention the rooms are not modern as such but that’s exactly what we like - we are not staying in a city where you might want the new aesthetics - room age compliments the surroundings - my only bug was massage was too pricey which held us back to have more I think if they were reduced in price they would have more business - I would also like to mention the lovely Russian lady and her great singing voice. Even in Ramadan the staff while fasting were super attentive - lastly the food was 10/10 all menu was detailed to perfection. Plenty of water sport facilities. We enjoyed our 6 days thoroughly and would be back like many other guests. God bless the team
