It was less than 30 minute speed boat ride. Everyone, I mean as in EVERYONE are so nice, accommodating and hospitable. From the speed boat crew, receptionist, people in the buffet, the bag porter, people who does the gardening as in everyone is so nice. We arrived too rally than our check in time, we arrived at around 9:30-9:45am so I kindly ask if they’d let us check in early, and they let us checked in at 10am, 4hours ahead of the check in time. Buffet food was good too. They change the menu everyday. We’ll definitely be back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Peaceful Escape at Thulhagiri Island Resort Recently, I travelled to the Maldives for the first time and stayed at Thulhagiri Island Resort for 4 nights and 5 days. Overall, it was a lovely and peaceful experience. The resort itself is **beautiful, calm, and quiet**. If you’re looking for a place to completely disconnect from the busy world, relax by the beach, enjoy the sunset, and simply slow down, I would highly recommend it. **🍽️ Food:** Since it is a 4-star resort, I would say the food was okay, but the options can feel repetitive, especially if you’re vegetarian. One thing I found disappointing was that PANEER wasn’t available on the menu. I would also recommend booking a Full Board or All-Inclusive package. It gives you more flexibility to enjoy the resort without constantly worrying about meals, especially when you want to spend your time by the beach, watch the sunset, or enjoy the various water activities. Value for money: Cost-wise, I felt the resort was quite good. Even the drinks weren’t excessively expensive compared with what you might expect at a resort in the Maldives. Water Villa: The room was great, and staying in a water villa was definitely one of the highlights. However, the water around the villas is quite deep, so you should be a confident swimmer if you plan to jump or dive directly into the water. One unexpected thing was the number of crabs around the staircase of the water villa—there were quite a few of them sitting on the steps, which was definitely not something I expected! 😄 On the positive side, the marine life was amazing. We could see fishes, stingrays, and even baby sharks directly from our water villa, which was such a beautiful experience. **👩‍💼 Staff & Service:** The staff were generally helpful, although the level of service varied and there were a few areas where I felt they could have been more attentive. ### Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thulhagiri is a great choice if your priority is **peace, nature, beautiful beaches, and a relaxing island getaway** rather than luxury or an extensive food selection. For a first trip to the Maldives, I really enjoyed the experience and would happily recommend Thulhagiri to anyone looking for a **quiet and reasonably priced escape surrounded by beautiful water and marine life.** 🌴🌊

One the best and budget friendly 4 star private resort island. Best service, excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner along with alot of cocktails. Very friendly and supportive staffs are there to take care of everything. Thanks for the great service and make our stay memorable. Best regards.

Our stay in the Maldives was truly unforgettable. The room was beautiful, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed for a perfect vacation. The food was absolutely delicious with plenty of great options every day. What impressed us the most was the warm hospitality — all the staff were incredibly friendly and always smiling, which made us feel so welcomed throughout our stay. One of the best experiences was seeing sharks and colorful fish swimming right in front of our villa. It felt like living in a dream. We came here to truly relax, and this resort was the perfect place for that — peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. At the same time, there were plenty of water activities and equipment available to enjoy. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable Maldives getaway!
