We really loved this hotel and we will definitely visit again! The location is perfect — right next to the beach, a bus stop, and Lidl, which made everything very convenient. The pool is amazing, very large, and there was never any struggle to find sunbeds. The service is simply incredible! Everyone works hard to make guests feel comfortable and welcome. The cleanliness is excellent, the cocktails are great, and the breakfast is also very good. The only minus - there are no power outlets next to the bed. In short — a wonderful hotel that we highly recommend!

Venus Beach Hotel This is now our third stay at the Venus Beach Hotel in Paphos, and it’s clear that many things have improved significantly over time. We would especially like to highlight the breakfast buffet, which has become much better compared to our previous visits – a wide selection, fresh products, and overall noticeably higher quality. Another highlight is the coffee, now made from freshly ground beans and truly enjoyable – something that makes a big difference to start the day. What really makes our stay so pleasant, however, is the service staff. Friendly, attentive, and always striving to make guests feel welcome – exactly what great hospitality should be like. The location right by the sea is simply stunning. The sunsets are unforgettable, and depending on the room, you can even enjoy them comfortably from your bed with a sea view – a truly special experience. Overall, we feel very comfortable here and always enjoy coming back. The positive changes show that the hotel truly cares about quality and guest satisfaction.

Venus beach hotel Very much a 5* hotel on the outside, good looking, good location on sea front. Great pool and facilities with view of beach. There is a small gym and games room. Sunsets look stunning. Staff are attentive and friendly. Breakfast area Restaurants are good. Food for the breakfast can be cold as heated containers only warm. Plenty of choice though. Our room needed bit of TLC as some stains on curtains and woodwork, a cupboard door hinge loose and handle re stuck back on, and need good clean in shower area. But still good roomy room with air con, fridge, kettle, coffee maker and plenty of English sockets with USB and type C sockets. Fairly quiet and still warm in mid November. Loungers by pool free but pay on beach. Few restaurants and pubs within 10 minutes walk on road and Harbour maybe 50mins to an hour walk along road or beach path.

I m quite happy with this hotel (have visited 2024 and 2025) for weekend stays. The check-in process was smooth and the overall feeling us discrete but always alert service. The breakfast buffet is more than satisfactory (I don't think anybody will feel differently). The location is great. I recommend it.

-10 out of 10 ⭐️ Terrible experience – misleading, overpriced and full of unreasonable rules I honestly cannot recommend this hotel at all, our stay was disappointing from start to finish and there were so many issues that ruined our trip. First off, the photos used for booking are completely misleading. The rooms look nothing like what is advertised online – it feels like false advertising and we felt cheated as soon as we walked in. The rules here are absolutely ridiculous and make you feel unwelcome and restricted. On a Saturday night, we were told we had to be quiet and keep noise down before midnight – this is unheard of for a weekend stay and made the whole atmosphere very strict and uncomfortable. Breakfast was a massive letdown. There was barely any proper food available, and everything that was served was stone cold. It was not fit to eat and definitely not worth what we paid. Right at check-in, we were immediately pushed to pay extra for an upgrade, which felt like nothing more than a shameless sales tactic rather than good customer service. We were also explicitly told there was no building located next to the pool, but this turned out to be completely untrue – another example of being lied to just to get us to book. Their rules around food and drink are the strangest and most inconvenient I have ever come across anywhere. The receptionist made a huge issue about us bringing outside food, claiming it was against “health and safety regulations” – I have stayed in hotels all over and this is the very first time I have ever heard of such a rule. There is a supermarket directly opposite the hotel, but we were told we couldn’t bring anything from there in visible bags. We actually had to hide what we bought inside our own bags just to get it up to our room – it was embarrassing and unnecessary. To make things even worse, I was thirsty at 11pm and went down to reception simply to ask for a bottle of water. The bar was closed, and they claimed they didn’t have any bottled water available anywhere on site. I was told my only options were to drink tap water or bring an empty bottle down from my room so they could fill it up from a filter in their back office. Think about it – what if I hadn’t had an empty bottle with me? I would have been left with nothing to drink at all. What makes this even more outrageous is that at the very start of our stay, we were told specifically that we could NOT drink the tap water because it wasn’t safe. So first they say tap water is unsafe, then they tell me to drink it anyway or go to the trouble of fetching a bottle to be filled up somewhere out back. It is unprofessional, unsafe and incredibly thoughtless. This place is full of lies, bad service, poor facilities and rules that make no sense. Save your money and your time – stay somewhere that actually cares about its guests.
