W Maldives is a masterclass in luxury. From the Male airport greeting to the staff personally escorting us back to security for our departure, the service was impeccable. The "Whatever/Whenever" team is lightning-fast via WhatsApp, and the facilities staff are incredibly kind. Everyone we met was professional and courteous. We were constantly in awe of the beautiful surroundings on this private island. We chose this resort for the house reef, and snorkeling right off our back porch was breathtaking. A huge shoutout to the scuba team and Adel for helping my wife get her certification! The spa is otherworldly and the food is great. It is pricey, but that is expected for private island dining in the middle of the ocean. When our flight was canceled twice, the staff were incredibly accommodating and handled the logistics perfectly, taking all the stress off our shoulders. We cannot recommend this resort more highly. It is truly a bucket-list destination!

Violet and I spent our honeymoon at the W Maldives, and it was truly the most incredible vacation we’ve ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, the service was phenomenal. The entire staff made us feel so welcomed and cared for, everyone knew our names, and went out of their way to make every moment special. One of the highlights was how thoughtful and personal everything felt. For our Honeymoon and Valentine’s Day, they surprised us by decorating our room with beautiful rose petals and preparing a relaxing bubble bath, which was a romantic and unforgettable touch. What really stood out was the attention to detail. The staff noticed we were going to the gym every day and surprised us with water bottles so we could stay hydrated. Aiham in guest services made us a personalized bag with a stingray design for us. Beyond the thoughtful surprises, the property itself is stunning, the food was amazing, and the overall experience was luxurious, warm, and personal. The W Maldives created memories that we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives. If you’re looking for breathtaking scenery with world-class hospitality and heartfelt service, we can’t recommend the W Maldives enough. We are already dreaming about coming back.

The W Maldives is absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, the service was top notch. The staff were so attentive and personable, they even knew our names which made us feel so special! A special thank you to Dream, she’s amazing. Every meal we had at the restaurants was excellent, and the food was just delicious. And the hotel along with our over water villa was breathtaking. Seriously, the views and accommodations were out of this world. Plus exploring the house reef was amazing - the fish and sharks were incredible to see up close. It was truly an unforgettable experience! Every walk around the resort is like your in an aquarium with fish, small reef sharks and stingrays in the reef. We truly appreciated the upgrade we received as Marriott gold elite members, along with the late checkout as thankfully the hotel was not fully booked. 10/10. The best hotel we have ever stayed in.

Blown away by how great it was. Definitely coming back next year. The reef is fantastic and I cannot imagine anywhere being much better. Nurse sharks, Reef sharks, Octopus, Turtles, Rays, Tuna, the lot. The ‘whatever/whenever’ that they promote, literally is exactly that. Felt like all the staff just could not do enough for you and they always wanted to please and make sure that everything was ok. 10 days of paradise and not one dull or disappointing moment. The resort was full capacity for a few days too but you would never have known and standards certainly did not slip. A shame there was only 3 restaurants but the food choice is extensive and they put on a buffet every 2 or3 days which is substantial to say the least. Good quality was brilliant. Very dish was delicious and fulfilling, no small portions either. The whole team were so good at making the holiday what it was. Top marks to all of them, especially Markr - Fitness manager Ben water sports manager Leoni- water sports Adel - scuba instructor Shane - food and beverage manager Lonsi - wet bar manager The one complaint we did let them all know about…. It needs ice cream parlour.

A special thank you goes to Arsham and Sunnee who catered to our every wish with incredible attentiveness and genuine charm. This level of kindness and commitment is truly extraordinary! Nur impressed us daily with stories from his home while his warmth made us feel welcome at all times. Aiham and Axym constantly surprised us with a smile and excellent recommendations. They were outstanding. Thank you to Dana for organizing and preparing everything for us! You did a great job! Another amazing experience was the photo shoot with Zee, who took great photos of us! Thank you, Zee, for the beautiful photos and the friendly and relaxed shoot! Also, the nurse shark snorkeling was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! You could feel at all times that the staff genuinely love what they do and are passionate about creating exceptional experiences for their guests. The service was on a level that can only be described as flawless: fast, discreet, highly personal, and always incredibly friendly. Whether in the restaurants, at the bar or in the villa, we were welcomed everywhere with a smile and treated to impeccable service. At the W Maldives the heartfelt service transforms a luxury hotel into something absolutely unique. We will definitely be back – and are already looking forward to seeing the amazing team again. At the end of the stay, we were standing there in tears because we were so touched by Wasantha's, Sunnee's and Arsham's kind words and gestures. We have been to quite a handful of the very best hotels in the world but we have never experienced this level of heartfelt, genuine service before!
