If you’re in Koh Samui, this is one of the most comfortable places to stay. 10/10 for real. The beach is right in front, so mornings feel peaceful, and it’s close to Fisherman’s Village with plenty of great cafés and bars. A 7/11 and pharmacy nearby also make everything easier. My friend and I planned to stay one night and ended up extending because we genuinely loved the place.
The rooms are clean and modern with beautiful sunrise views. There’s a gym, a pool table, a nice pool area, and the hospitality felt warm throughout. The breakfast buffet had a good range of options, and overall the stay felt like great value for money. I’d definitely come back.

My wife and two daughters stayed at the ibis for five nights in August. The breakfasts were some of the best we had on our month in Thailand and the evening live music and fire shows were a huge hit. The rooms are a little on the small side but definitely great for the price that you pay. We stayed in the family adjoining room and it was definitely appreciated over all the previous bunk bed suites on our trip. The staff were all extremely friendly and the landscaping was amazing. Our family definitely appreciated the labeled species of plants and trees. Just be careful on the stepping stones in the main area ... I don't think they are spaced for tall people 😂. Most of ours time was spent at the pool or walking to fisherman's village. But definitely take the road, not the beach... Very difficult to walk in the sand. The walk to fisherman's village is totally doable in about 15 minutes and definitely go if the night market is happening. Similar hotels in the area cost more than 10 times the amount for similar amenities... Don't wait to book as they fill up fast! Thanks for a great stay. We hope to return soon!

A huge thank you to the entire team at ibis Koh Samui Bophut for their warm welcome and genuine kindness throughout our stay. The rooms are spacious, modern, and offer beautiful views.
The breakfast is generous and delicious, and we also had dinner at the restaurant, which was an absolute treat.
Everything is thoughtfully designed for optimal relaxation, we especially loved the outdoor areas and the swimming pool.
We will definitely come back with great pleasure !

A truly relaxing stay at ibis
Our stay at ibis was everything we hoped for and more. The location is absolutely perfect — right on the beach, with stunning ocean views, peaceful surroundings, and that magical tropical vibe that instantly puts you at ease.
From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel welcome and cared for. Every staff member was friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm throughout our stay.
A special mention goes to Toto from the restaurant team. Although he wasn’t there during breakfast, he made our lunches absolutely memorable. His kind smile, thoughtful service, and positive energy brought a special charm to every meal. It’s people like him who truly make a difference in the guest experience — thank you, Toto!
The variety of food offered throughout the week was also impressive. From Thai favourites to Western comfort food, everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour.
The only small downside was that the pool closed a bit early at 7 PM — we would have loved to enjoy a quiet swim under the evening sky. But honestly, that’s a minor detail in what was otherwise a perfect stay.
We’re leaving feeling relaxed, happy, and very grateful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beachfront getaway with heart, soul, and great service.

I had a wonderful experience at the Ibis hotel. The location is perfect, and everything was very clean. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. The food was delicious, and the whole place has a great atmosphere. The beautiful beach nearby is definitely a highlight. I highly recommend this hotel!

It’s a perfect place to relax with beautiful white sandy beaches and clean, comfortable rooms. The location is right in the center, close to tourist attractions and very convenient for travel. Every staff member made me feel truly valued. The front desk team was always ready to help with everything, and the restaurant staff were friendly and provided excellent service. Even though I came here alone, I never felt lonely. This is truly the spirit of Thailand kindness and genuine hospitality. I will definitely come back to stay here again.

Bad bad place! Do not get near by.
They had renovation going on, lots of noise and bad smell. The smell of sewage and noise of drilling and renovation, seriously that’s a shame! They woke us up every morning at 9:30 the the sound of very noisy drilling!! Without considering the hotel guests.
They published the hotel in booking like they can still offer quiet and peace, which is what guests usually need and want and come for!!
I can’t describe the suffer and the mental anguish, if you are having your hotel renovated, be at least honest and decent to inform it before guests are cominh!!
The Booking are as guilty as the hotel management.
Do not get close to a hotel who doesn’t respect you and behaving greedily.
Plus they make you sign every single service you need, for example I needed an iron and they came to my room with a note like mini contract that I signed that I take the iron and I need to get it back in 30 minutes. And there is insist that you should bring it back by the end of those 30 minutes!!
And on our day of the checkout they called us at 12:00 to make sure we are leaving, they didn’t even give us a space of five minutes over, like they were so stressed and they forced the guest to leave.
I’ve been in cheaper places and I got cheaper services but never got these kind of service and never experienced this kind of experience in a hotel where all the parts need to be kind considering.

We've been staying at this hotel every year for several years, and we still love it. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. We always book room #115, "Ocean Building," ideally located near the pool and the beach. The room is comfortable and always spotless thanks to daily housekeeping.
The only slight downside: every morning, a cooking smell wafts into the room, which is quite annoying.
The setting is superb, with perfectly maintained gardens; you really feel like you're on vacation just walking around the hotel. The breakfast is just okay, very limited not memorable. The service at the beach restaurant/bar, on the other hand, is remarkable: whenever a guest needs something, two or three staff members immediately jump in to help. The menu offers a wide selection of Thai and European dishes, all delicious.
I would definitely give the staff and beach services a 10/10, especially Mr. Joe and Miss Kae, who are always helpful and lovely. We will continue to stay at this hotel as long as this team is still here, otherwise we'll be looking for a different hotel 😆😜🤣

Nice hotel with a great location.
Breakfast is decent — you get what you need. The staff will prepare eggs in any style: fried, boiled, scrambled, or as an omelet. Very good! Sun loungers are available both by the pool and on the beach. Rooms are clean and spacious.
Note: There is a lot of noise from a pub if you’re staying on the riverside, especially near the road.

It has a great Poolside Bar close to the Beachfront..& the staff Jeab & Billy were so friendly and accommodating!!
The Pool is very clean & well maintained, and cleanliness of the rooms are exceptional!!

Best place we have stayed in Thailand. Everything was excellent from the moment we arrived to the moment we check out.
Check in was quick and we got our keys in like 5 mins. Rooms are large and toilet are clean and the daily room service was excellent. Water was provided daily and coffee, tea and kettle was provided and all complimentary.
Food can be purchased on site with a burger/steak place at the entrance which carters to lunch and dinner. The testurant within the resort provided breakfast and lunch. Fantastic food and drinks. Staff were extremely friendly and will cater to your needs.
The pool was big and it also connect straight to the beach
Overall excellent stay, friendly staff, fantastic service all round and we will be returning here.

We stayed for 10 nights in this beautiful hotel. We had a very good breakfast included and also enjoyed lunch and dinner. Thank you to the following members of staff who made our stay perfect: Ticha, Fern, JJ, Nene, Lyn, Mhee, Dum. All staff in the kitchen also made a very good job and contributed to a perfect stay for us.
We will also mention Ya from Stacked Burger Restaurant.
The hotel has a perfect location on the beach.

The hotel has the perfect location next to the mail street with all the restaurants and bars. The rooms are cozy and small, it is clean. The breakfast is nice, with fruits and many other choices. Unfortunately the staff is not friendly, they prefer to answer: "not possible", than trying to help. No earlier check in, no late check our, no ball for volleyball etc.

Clean place with excellent service — I’m so impressed!
I’d like to start by thanking the hotel and all the staff, especially Pop at the front desk, for the kind help and quick support with the car rental. Special thanks to Piak for the great travel recommendations as well. The room was spacious, clean, and absolutely worth the price. Plus, it’s just a short walk to the beach. Highly recommend staying here — you’ll love it!

Very poor service, they also made us pay for two water bottles we did leave in the room. Very noisy air conditioning, no flexibility on the checkout. Feels like a trap for tourists and not really close to the best beaches. Better choose coral cove 10 minutes away

We loved our stay here! our room was clean and tidy, cleaned every day. The hotel lobby was always clean and looked lovely. we loveddd the pool and is so handy having a pool bar there too! it was always peaceful by the pool with nice music too. Great value for money, 15/20 min walk to the main area. staff were all super lovely and helpful! would defo return and recommend:)

There is an employee named Lin who always gives help and speaks nicely and helps people no matter what time of day. A good guy just for him is worth coming to the hotel. He is kind and gentle.

The one thing I liked most about it is near to 24 hrs cheap which is very cheap and the staff is friendly the pool is also very good. There were a few 🦎 lizards in the room which I am afraid of but overall it was good. And one more thing the place is not quite which can also be loud at times especially when you’re sleeping 💤 usually early in the morning and before noon.
