We had a wonderful stay at Abora Buenaventura. The hotel offers a wide variety of activities and entertainment for both adults and children, so there is always something fun to do. The food was excellent, with a great selection of fresh and delicious dishes every day. There was plenty of choice, and everyone could easily find something they enjoyed. The biggest highlight was the professional, friendly, and helpful staff. They were always smiling, attentive, and willing to assist, making our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Abora Buenaventura to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with great facilities, fantastic food, and outstanding service. We would be happy to come back!

7 night family holiday for 3 adults at the end of May 2026.half board. Amazing hotel…stayed in a room for 2/3 people, garden/pool view. It was very spacious with great wardrobe/storage space. Very modern and spotless clean. Beds were spacious and really comfy. Garden areas and 2 pools were great, with bars and a supermarket. Food was was lovely with plenty of choice available. The entertainment team were welcoming and friendly…. fun games during the day and great evening shows. The hotel is really close to the beach/sand dunes, shops, bars and restaurants….a free shuttle bus is available. Fantastic 4 star hotel… I would definitely recommend 🙂

This is already our sixth time staying here with our friends, and every year we have an amazing experience again. The rooms are always very clean and tidy, and the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The people working at the bar are always friendly and smiling, which makes the atmosphere even more special. The food is absolutely perfect, with a delicious and varied selection every day. The hotel has a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere, which is why we always love coming back. We love this place so much that we already know we will return for the seventh time on October 31, 2026!

Second time visiting this hotel and as before we had a great time. Again a few niggles but that's all they are. I think the check-in time takes too long. I don't understand why they can't get all the information required from the travel partner beforehand so, all we as the customer needs to do is sign the form and get our keys. This would save everyone a lot of time! It's also worth noting you have to pay a 50Euro deposit for the room which we weren't told about. The towels in the room are not great. Either take your own or be prepared to wonder around the room with a towel that doesn't wrap around you fully. There are cats that have been adopted by the hotel. Whilst not wild, they do have free roam of the place including the food halls so if you have cat allergies, maybe avoid! The food was fantastic, breakfast lunch and dinner all had a great variety every day. The food hall runs a great system of table either being open (take a seat) or closed (someone has gone for food) Only once did someone ignore our closed sign and take our table. Pool areas were clean and there were always plenty of sunbeds available at all times of the day. The entertainment team are great. Plenty going on around the pool areas encouraging you to get involved in the games but, will leave you alone if you say no thanks. All together, we had a great time and if we were to visit GC again, this hotel would certainly get our vote.

Food: poor quality and not much choice. Very repetitive buffet. I was very ill one night, most probably because of what i ate. Also one evening I tried a piece of cake and the cream was off. Pools: Freezing cold. I read one one of them would've been slightly heated but it turns out none of them are. Staff confirmed it. It's nice to have fresh pools, but these are just far too cold. Rooms: Rooms are nice and spacious Drinks: Most things come out of machines so not great. Beer is ok, wouldn't reccomended the wine on tap. Entertainment: Entertainment was quite good. I've seen much better entertainment, but all in all, the animation team are good and kids disco is good. Wouldn't come back to this hotel simply because of the cold pools and food. I paid for a week in all inclusive but ended up going out most of the time to beach clubs with climatised/heated pools and out to eat. I don't normally complain but obviously this occasion it's probably helpful to people who read so then can plan accordingly. Had I known about the cold pools before, I wouldn't have booked this hotel.
