This hotel is honestly so beautiful, down to the rooms, staff and food is top notch. i came here for a break from the city and it’s made my trip memorable for sure. i was always up at the atmosphere bar/the rooftop sunbathing and always saw Despina’s bright beautiful face smiling which was so refreshing to see and made me feel comfortable during my stay. During dinner Leon was very helpful with the service if you had any concerns, was super friendly. Overall i’d say staff and service is amazing and i’ve made some good friendships and connections here with them as well. The room service was always done every single day, providing new bottles of water in the fridges, food for your landing, snacks, and tea and a complimentary cretan alcohol drink. you could get a taste of that luxury from these little details. food is great but not so Michelin of course but i have no complaints about it. i’m not too fussy with the food here. the atmosphere id say is super chilled out, relaxing and open. The spa was lovely and the spa facilities too were nice. I would definitely come here again.

An Absolutely Outstanding Hotel Experience!!!! Our stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations. We decided to came here to celebrate our honeymoon, it was our first time in Crete. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and professionalism from reception and Anastasia, that made us feel truly welcome. The room was impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and equipped with every comfort needed for a relaxing stay. The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our visit in Akasha hotel were perfect, always ready to assist with a smile, always extra mile, always giving a feeling that we are not the only clients here it was more like a small family in here. The location was ideal, offering convenient access to local attractions while still providing a peaceful retreat. The breakfast and the dinner was exceptional, featuring a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to every taste and atmosphere with a live music was incredible. What truly sets this hotel apart is its commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction. Every interaction reflected a high standard of hospitality that is increasingly rare to find. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking comfort, quality, luxury, warm and unforgettable memory. I look forward to returning in the future and experiencing this exceptional hospitality once again. I’m currently staying at this hotel and let me tell you, don’t listen to any of the negative reviews you see. This place is magical. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. We have also had cleaners in our room every single morning and havnt struggled to get any sun loungers OR beds by the pool. I’ve seen people saying that there are people fighting for beds and I have not seen this once. The hotel is also fully booked so it’s not like we have just come at a quiet time. The first day we slept in due to a late flight and came to the pool at 9.30 and there were still beds available (pool beds open at 9). There’s also a rooftop pool with a bar, beach pool with a snack bar and a spa with a fitness centre equipped with free weights, treadmills, bikes and a rowing machine. The food is fantastic with lots of different choices from Greek food like gyros to other foods we all love at home so there’s something for everyone. The drinks waiters are also constantly walking around the pool to ensure you have enough drinks and even if you decide to walk to the bar, one of them will see you and take your drinks order before you make it to the bar. (A special mention to Ilias who always made sure my partner and I had a drink and made my holiday fantastic) On one of the days there was a musician playing the saxophone, a mixture of current and older songs which was beautiful. The hotel is very clean and i genuinely do not have a bad thing to say, it’s such a stunning place and I am very glad we booked here. There’s a beach at the bottom of the hotel with water sports available and gorgeous picturesque views. In terms of evenings, it’s located right along a main strip with lots of little markets and souvenir stands as well as rental vehicles, restaurants, bars and tattoo parlours and that’s in both directions of the hotel for a good mile or so, so you never get bored. I Would highly recommend this hotel to everyone, we stayed for 4 nights all Inclusive in a sea view room.

Stayed here solo from May 15th to May 19th for my birthday, and it was a massive letdown compared to the luxury aesthetic advertised all over TikTok and booking platforms. I checked in around 1:00 AM on Saturday, only to open my balcony door to a view of a literal semi-abandoned lot, unkempt grass, cracked walls, and other people's laundry hanging right in front of me. This "view" is completely hidden on Love Holidays and Akasha’s official website. Leaving guests to find this out at 1 AM is unacceptable. When I asked to change rooms, the front desk team gave me the run-around, telling me to come back multiple times. When they finally showed me an alternate room, it still wasn't the pool/sea view advertised, yet they still expected me to pay an extra 35 euros a night (70 euros total) to upgrade—completely ignoring the fact that I was checking out at 4:00 AM on Tuesday anyway. It feels like a calculated bait-and-switch hustle: give guests the worst possible room, then force them to wait around or pay extra cash to escape it. As a solo traveler, it felt incredibly manipulative, and I refused to pay extra for a room I didn't even want. To top it off, the food was a major disappointment. Both the breakfast and dinner were not very nice, which you don't expect from a hotel branding itself as a luxury wellness/spa resort. While parts of the property are modern, the room lottery roulette, poor food quality, and greedy upgrade tactics ruined my birthday trip. I've since found out many other guests have experienced the exact same thing—with some even being pressured by staff to delete negative reviews while on-site in exchange for upgrades. Be incredibly careful booking this place through third-party sites, because they will happily dump you in a room facing a construction zone.

Our stay at Akasa was absolutely perfect. The hotel has a fantastic restaurant with incredible flavors, and the bar offers a great vibe and amazing drinks. The room was modern and equipped with a great TV. The absolute highlight of our trip was the staff; they are remarkably friendly and treated us like family. Everything was just spectacular. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a top-tier stay!
