We arrived at "Amari Vogue Krabi" after staying at a wonderful five-star hotel in Ko Lanta, so unfortunately the differences were immediately noticeable. In the past, it was certainly a beautiful hotel, but today, in order to truly deserve its five-star rating, it would need a complete restyling. The property now feels dated, and the rooms are furnished with pieces that have clearly seen better days. While the overall atmosphere remains pleasant, the hotel would greatly benefit from a full renovation to meet modern five-star expectations. The breakfast is good and varied, offering a nice selection to start the day. However, the restaurant does not quite live up to five-star standards in terms of quality and overall dining experience. The real highlight of the hotel is its location. Positioned directly in front of the islands, it offers breathtaking views and truly magnificent sunsets, which are without a doubt the most memorable part of the stay. Overall, a property with great potential and an outstanding location, but one that would need significant updating to fully justify its five-star status today.

Our first trip to Thailand turned even more special with our stay at Amari Vogue Krabi. We travelled from Phuket to Krabi by cab, and reached the resort in the middle of a beautiful downpour. The moment we entered our cozy room surrounded by lush greenery, it felt like stepping into a peaceful tropical escape. Little water streams with fish swimming around added such a calming charm to the place. What truly stood out was the privacy and serenity of every corner of the property. Their restaurant serves absolutely delicious food, and the vanilla ice cream is something you simply shouldn’t miss. The hotel also offers kayaking for guests who want to explore and unwind by the water. The staff was warm, polite, and always welcoming, making our first Thailand experience even more memorable.

Amari Vogue Krabi. I recently stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and overall had a lovely experience. The grounds are beautiful and the location right on a stunning sandy beach is a major highlight. The buffet breakfast was great, plenty to choose from, the team working there were polite, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Housekeeping also deserves recognition — they were fantastic and always helpful. The hotel is around 30/40 minutes by car from Ao Nang, so it is quite secluded. This makes it peaceful, but something to be aware of if you prefer being closer to shops, restaurants, or nightlife. The scenery and grounds are lovely, but guests with mobility issues should note that the hotel sits on a steep incline. There are lots of steps and some uneven pathways, so getting around may be challenging. There are some areas that could be improved. The beach bar service was disappointing, and even more so at happy hour often meant a long wait, and unfortunately, some staff were quite rude. On top of that, a 10% service charge was added to every drink even when I had to walk up to the bar myself to order, which made the charge feel unjustified. For a hotel claiming to be 5-star, a few personal touches were missing. Simple additions like mats at the room entrances and room slippers would make a noticeable difference. The bathroom layout was also unusual — there was a door on the shower but none on the toilet, which seemed strange. Despite these points, it’s a lovely place with great potential. With improved service at the beach bar and more attention to detail in the rooms, it could easily live up to its 5-star expectations.

A great place to relax, there were quite a few guests, still at no time did the hotel really feel crowded, be it the pools, the beach or any of the bars or restaurants. Perfect for people seeking peace and quiet. Wonderful views. Epic sunsets. And, last but not least fantastic staff. Take a ride (manageable by tuktuk) to the nearest town if you miss the hussle and bustle, or, take a relaxing longboat cruise straight from the hotel beach. And follow others, staff and guests alike, and smile:) a lot

My stay at Amari Vogue Krabi was honestly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Thailand. From the moment I arrived, everything felt peaceful, welcoming, and genuinely high-end. The room was beautiful and felt more like a luxury suite than a standard hotel room — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after long days exploring Krabi. The food was exceptional. Some of the best meals I’ve had during my time in Thailand were at the resort. The breakfast in particular was insanely delicious. I’ve never seen such a beautiful breakfast spread with so many incredible Thai dishes and fresh options. Every morning honestly felt more like dining at a Michelin-star restaurant than a hotel buffet. The quality, presentation, and flavors were outstanding. What truly made this place special, though, was the staff. Everyone was warm, attentive, and incredibly kind throughout my stay. One small moment perfectly summed up the level of care here: after one very late night out, the staff delivered four large bottles of water to my room the next morning without me even asking. It genuinely made me laugh because it felt like they somehow knew I needed hydration and recovery. That level of thoughtful hospitality is rare. A special thank you to Sitta, who helped arrange activities for me and stayed in contact throughout the days to make sure everything went smoothly. Her communication and kindness made the trip even better. I also highly recommend the 7 Islands motorboat tour arranged through the hotel. The boat was a large catamaran-style speedboat with air conditioning and a bathroom, which made the experience far more comfortable than many other island tours in the area. It ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. I stayed for 4 nights and honestly wish I had booked longer. This beachfront boutique resort feels unique and special in a way that’s difficult to describe — relaxing, beautiful, and personal all at once. The location is amazing, but it’s the people who truly make this place unforgettable. 10/10 experience for me. I genuinely have no suggestions for improvement. Keep doing exactly what you’re doing because it’s something special. Thank you again to the entire Amari Vogue Krabi team. I’ll absolutely recommend this resort to all my friends and family visiting Thailand in the future. 🙏
