My family and I stayed at Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas for four days, and we had a wonderful experience despite the rainy weather during our visit. It rained every day in Phuket, which meant we were unable to do some of the excursions we had originally planned. However, the resort team did an excellent job helping us make the most of our stay. Our resort assistant, Por, was fantastic. He was incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and accommodating, helping us organize alternative plans and experiences when our original activities were canceled. One of the highlights was visiting an ethical elephant conservation center, which was an experience our family truly appreciated. The breakfast at the resort was excellent, with a great selection and wonderful service. The staff throughout the resort were always warm, kind, and attentive, making us feel welcomed every day. Transportation around the property was also very convenient, with golf carts arriving promptly whenever we needed them to take us to and from our villa. The resort offers several dining and drink options, making it easy to enjoy different experiences without leaving the property. However, what we loved most about Anantara Mai Khao was the incredible beauty of the grounds. The lotus plants, ponds, and lush landscaping create a peaceful and stunning environment that makes the resort feel truly special. The scenery is one of the most memorable aspects of the property and provides a beautiful backdrop throughout your stay. We only wish we had visited during a better season to fully experience everything the resort and Phuket have to offer. Despite the rain, Anantara Mai Khao provided a relaxing, beautiful, and memorable family getaway. We would happily return in the future.

Our family had a flawless stay at Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas. We booked a 2-bedroom suite with breakfast included, which was incredibly spacious and luxurious. The service was top-tier. Housekeeping cleaned and tidied our room twice a day, and fresh towels were provided daily. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, offering a fantastic and high-quality selection. The resort is perfect for families—our kids absolutely loved spending time in the teen room and playing on the tennis courts. Combined with the beautiful, peaceful atmosphere of Mai Khao Beach, it was the ultimate vacation. Highly recommended!

Spent 3 nights in a 2-bedroom villa with my family, and the kids really loved the place. The villa itself was spacious and very well equipped, including a washer and dryer, which made it very convenient since we didn’t need to send clothes out for laundry. Breakfast was one of the highlights, especially the Thai selection. The crab curry with noodles really stood out. During our stay, we also tried the floating breakfast, which was a nice experience, although it’s quite hard to eat properly while in the pool. There were plenty of activities available throughout the resort. The kids club was excellent, with staff who took great care of our children while they joined the various activities prepared for them. We also enjoyed the scheduled resort activities as a family, including a fun ice bath challenge in the pool one afternoon and a movie night on Saturday, which my daughter especially enjoyed. All the staff we interacted with were friendly, helpful, and attentive. The only downside is that there are no nearby local restaurants, so we mostly ordered through Grab, which was still convenient and worked well for us. Overall, thank you for a memorable stay and a family holiday that’s truly one for the books.

We had an amazing stay here. Across the board, the staff was friendly, accommodating and polite. The villa was immaculate and comfortable. The restaurants had delicious food in beautiful settings, sometimes with entertainment. The pool and beach were picturesque and serene. Our concierge, Sunny, was the best! He helped us arrange/book any dining/activity we wanted and it allowed us to relax completely. My elderly mother was with us and they were so attentive and accommodating. Fabulous getaway!

Prior to check-in, I contacted your hotel twice by phone and sent two separate detailed emails asking one simple question: What activities and experiences are available at the resort for families and children? My intention was simple—I wanted to understand everything the hotel had to offer so I could plan the best experience for my family. Unfortunately, the responses I received were extremely incomplete. When I first asked what was available besides the Kids Club and elephant activities, I was simply sent information about those two experiences. I then called the hotel again and specifically asked whether there were other activities, mentioning examples such as sea turtle-seeing experiences and Muay Thai. Following that conversation, I received another email containing only the fitness centre and turtle activities. At no point did anyone inform me that the resort also offers a wide range of family experiences, including bicycle rentals, tennis courts, Thai cooking classes, the organic farm, spa facilities, the mini zoo, and several other activities. As a result, we spent a significant amount of our precious family vacation wandering around the resort trying to discover what was available , because of these repeated failures in communication, time that should have been spent creating memories with our children was unfortunately wasted. What is particularly disappointing is that I raised this question again immediately upon arrival with the Lobby Manager. I explained that I had already contacted the hotel four times before my stay and had still not been given complete information. I specifically asked him to tell me everything available within the resort. Even then, he only mentioned a few additional activities and again failed to provide a complete overview of the resort’s offerings. Only after returning home and searching online myself did I discover that the resort offers many experiences that were never mentioned by anyone, despite my repeated enquiries. I find this extremely upsetting. I made every effort to prepare for our stay, yet neither your reservations team nor your Lobby Manager provided the information necessary for my family to enjoy the resort to its fullest. To make matters worse, our room also had a persistent ant problem throughout our stay. Although this was reported, the issue was never properly resolved.
