We visited at the start of December for 3 nights. Stunning room, stunning location. This was our relaxing higher end resort to end our Thailand trip and it was well worth it. The hotel food and drink prices are ludicrously expensive though and with that price you would expect the quality to be top notch. Don’t get me wrong everything was yummy but nothing on the menu blew me away to justify the majority of the price points. There are other places you can walk to that are 10 mins away which we found out on our last night simply coz we got a little bored of the hotel dinner menus. Both pools are stunning, the beach is stunning. Staff were polite and friendly. We did one of the free yoga sessions which was fun. We tried out the spa and both of us got one of their treatment packages which was again lovely, worth the price- debatable. One thing you do have to keep in mind is the hotel is structured in a way that you need to get one of their buggy’s to drive you around the hotel. For us, this was quick and convenient- we were never waiting for a cart to pick us up. We did organise a transfer from Krabi to the island privately and then got the hotel to organise a driver from the dock to the hotel. On the way out we got the hotel to organise the transport to Phuket airport. To be honest this was pricy but worth it in our opinion just for the connivence factor. Honestly an overall 5 star stay for us.

The hotel is truly stunning. Nestled in the jungle, it offers a spectacular setting with breathtaking views from nearly every room. The architecture and the way it blends into nature are definite highlights. Breakfast is also excellent, with a wide and varied selection that caters to all tastes. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The on-site restaurants are significantly more expensive than those nearby, yet the food quality is fairly average. This is especially disappointing for basic Thai dishes, which lack flavor and authenticity. Another downside is the music. Whether at the infinity pool or on the pier at sunset (which should be a key moment of the day), the playlists feel outdated and poorly suited to the setting. It detracts from the overall experience. More broadly, the hotel lacks a real “vibe,” particularly in the evening. A proper bar with a well-thought-out atmosphere or even a small lively spot would make a big difference in such an incredible location. Finally, while the staff are lovely and clearly well-intentioned, the service sometimes lacks training and consistency (forgotten cutlery or napkins, delays with simple requests like bringing a bottle of wine, etc.). Overall: a beautiful place with huge potential, but it could truly elevate the experience with improvements in food quality, service, and especially ambiance.

We really enjoyed our stay here from getting the boat to the island to, how stunning our room was and what amazing facilities they had. It was a big resort and you need to allow time to get around but they seem to have it all very well organised so could fault it. The rooms are stunning loved everything about them. Could have done with some more water in the rooms you get one large bottle and two small. Restruants had good level of food at a reasonable cost but did venture down the beach and eat at others to. The best part is the free muay thai class's ssdly we only got two in but wished I did more sadly we were only there three nights. They are included you just need to buy the hand wraps which I didnt see an issue with as they are yours etc.

This place takes my breath away, it makes me emotional to my core - the luck we as a family have to be able to stay here. The resort is beautiful and well maintained, the woodwork is unbelievable, the view every moment in time is breathtaking and the staff they make this resort to what it is. They are kind and helpfull, offer a lot of complementary services like massage pre breakfast. We are currently staying here but are looking if we can extend our stay. We havent even left the resort to explore more of the island as there is so much to do here. If you are considering of staying here - go for it! Just some side notes: dont have the buffets: It high priced and the quality is not matched. A la carte is much better. If you want to stay longer, book online. Sea view in hotel 5 is better than hotel 2. Look for a discountcode online to book direct with hotel. Saved us a lot!

Santhiya is undeniably beautiful with the intricate woodwork everywhere and the amazing view. The rooms are tastefully decorated and have everything you might need. There is always a taxi to take you through the resort or to the car park if you want to explore the island and everyone is very nice. The breakfast is great and so are the buffet dinner and the massages. You can easily reach a couple more restaurants and some small shops on foot (along the beach). The beach is very pretty as well. They have a big indoor playground for kids (open 10-4pm). The only thing that really should be upkept better is the main pool (not the infinity pool) with the so-called children's pool. It was constantly dirty with leaves, dead bugs and trash swimming in it and the children's pool has a huge hole right in the middle (death trap!). Pity because other than that it was really perfect!
