There are truly no words to express how satisfied we were with our stay at Grand Mercure Phuket Patong. We stayed two full weeks with our family, and everything exceeded our expectations. The lady who took care of cleaning our room did an outstanding job throughout the entire stay — the room was spotless every single day, and her dedication did not go unnoticed. Breakfast was an absolute dream: incredibly rich, diverse, and well-organized, with options for every taste. It was by far one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had. The main swimming pool was a solid 10/10, and the kids’ pool with water slides was the cherry on top — pure joy for children and total relaxation for parents. The staff deserves special praise: extremely professional, warm, attentive, and always smiling. Their attitude truly made the difference and turned our vacation into an unforgettable experience. We would return without hesitation and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Patong, especially families. An exceptional stay from start to finish!

We recently stayed at Grand Mercure Patong for the second time and once again had an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome — even surprising us with a beautiful “welcome back” sign on our bed, which was such a thoughtful touch and made our return feel extra special. This resort truly delivers a 5-star experience. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the entire hotel is spotless, and the atmosphere is so relaxing and peaceful while still being close to everything Patong has to offer. The location is absolutely perfect. Last year I also had a massage at the in-house spa and it was honestly one of the best spa experiences I’ve had — pure luxury and relaxation from start to finish. We loved our stay so much that we’ve already booked to return for our final two days in Thailand before flying home. Thank you to all the amazing staff for making our holiday so memorable. We can’t wait to come back again and we will always return in the future.

We had a wonderful experience during our stay at Grand Mercure hotel in Thailand. The location is absolutely spot-on — close to major attractions, restaurants, and activities, yet tucked away just enough to feel peaceful and relaxing. It made getting around with our toddler really easy. What truly stood out was the hospitality of the staff. They were warm, attentive, and went out of their way to accommodate our requests, whether it was heating up food or helping with small needs at odd hours. The availability of food overnight was a huge plus, and we especially enjoyed the specials by the pool — the burgers were delicious! The breakfast buffet also offered a fantastic variety to start the day right including vegetarian Indian food. The swimming pool is amazing, and we spent quite a bit of time there as a family. We also used the kids room and showers next to spa area. The amenities are well thought out and modern, which made the stay comfortable. While the rooms are slightly on the smaller side and the balcony space is very limited, these were minor trade-offs compared to everything else the hotel offers. Overall, as a couple traveling with a toddler, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for convenience, comfort, and truly welcoming service.

Checkin was smooth and got upgraded to a pool access room. The bed was comfortable and the AC was good. All the front staff were young and energetic, created good atmosphere during various afternoon activities. Foot massage was very very good for 1 hour, did in privacy in a massage room, highly recommended. Breakfast was good with so many choices, even gluten free food was available, nice one can sit outside next to the main pool. The main pool was busy from around midday, not a place to do laps, lots of children but all great atmosphere. With the loud music in the afternoon near the pool, it will be hard to have a nap, no problem at night, very quiet. It was only around 20 min to Bangla Road, a little bit less to JungCeylon. I like the Lounge which opened only from 11am to around 5pm I think, a nice, quiet, cool place to have some non alcoholic drinks with finger food. The Craft Beer Lounge near reception was good too, there was a big screen for sports and ample sofas available. The Lounge was not a full function lounge because it didn’t provide breakfast and evening alcoholic drinks+food. I was a little bit worry when I arrived that there were so many families, but there were more than enough spaces for everyone. Cleaning staff will knock on my door (I didn't have DND sign ON) to ask if I need the room cleaned or turn down service, very proactive, well done.

It’s a nice looking hotel and the staff are what you would expect in Thailand. I have 3 expectations Value for money: we booked a pool villa, these are located at the back of the main hotel. They are very private, well appointed and quiet. However they are almost always in the shade so if you want to sunbake forget it. I am not sure they are worth the extra. Friendly Staff. This was a big plus. The staff were always friendly and wanted to help. Location: good walking distance from everything. Far enough away from all the noise but close enough to walk every where. There was some issues with Bubbles restaurant: I’m sorry but the quality of the food was just awful. Stale breakfast pastries every morning. Ate lunch a couple of times ordered the kebabs. This was about a 2 star quality They were so tough we could not eat them. The French fries were rock hard cold and not worth presenting. Explained to the supervisor what was going on. He told us that he would speak the chef. I don’t think that happened as the next few days were exactly the same. Just eat somewhere else it’s really not worth the effort. The problem with writing reviews is that it’s always going to be brought up with the staff and next time it will be better. The thing is do better in the first place. Travelling is getting expensive so expectations are going to be higher.
