A Wonderful Stay at Grand Mercure Patong I had a very enjoyable stay at the Grand Mercure Patong. From the moment you check in, you’re greeted by a spacious lobby overlooking the beautiful interior of the resort. It immediately reminded me of the resort hotels in Mexico, with its tropical atmosphere and open design. The staff were one of the highlights of my stay. Everyone I encountered was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. They always greeted guests with a smile, making me feel genuinely welcome. I arrived before the official check-in time, so I left my luggage with the front desk and went to explore Patong. Before I left, one of the staff members stopped me and offered me an umbrella because it looked like it might rain. It was a small but thoughtful gesture that left a great first impression. I booked a room with direct pool access, and I highly recommend it if your budget allows. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. I especially appreciated that it had a dehumidifier, which is almost essential in Patong’s humid climate. Without one, the moisture in the air can quickly make a room feel damp. The hotel’s location is another major advantage. It’s right in the heart of Patong, with restaurants, shopping, and nightlife all within walking distance. Patong Beach is also just a short walk away, and the hotel even provides a complimentary shuttle service, which was a nice convenience. Breakfast exceeded my expectations. There was an excellent selection of both Western and Asian dishes, everything was well organized and clean, and the quality was consistently good. I enjoyed breakfast at the hotel every morning during my stay and felt it offered excellent value. Overall, I had a great experience at Grand Mercure Patong. While I wouldn’t personally rate it as a true five-star luxury resort, it comes very close and certainly has the potential to earn that distinction. I would gladly stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel with excellent service in Patong.

We recently stayed at Grand Mercure Patong for the second time and once again had an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome — even surprising us with a beautiful “welcome back” sign on our bed, which was such a thoughtful touch and made our return feel extra special. This resort truly delivers a 5-star experience. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the entire hotel is spotless, and the atmosphere is so relaxing and peaceful while still being close to everything Patong has to offer. The location is absolutely perfect. Last year I also had a massage at the in-house spa and it was honestly one of the best spa experiences I’ve had — pure luxury and relaxation from start to finish. We loved our stay so much that we’ve already booked to return for our final two days in Thailand before flying home. Thank you to all the amazing staff for making our holiday so memorable. We can’t wait to come back again and we will always return in the future.

We stayed at Grand Mercure Patong last year and loved it so much that we came back again this trip. What made this stay extra special was that the staff actually remembered us and welcomed us back with such kindness, including this beautiful setup in our room. The service here is honestly outstanding. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and attentive, and they go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and valued. The rooms are beautiful, clean and relaxing, the location is perfect, and the whole resort has such a peaceful atmosphere while still being close to everything in Patong. It’s little personal touches like this that make a place unforgettable. Thank you again to all the amazing staff at Grand Mercure Patong for making our stay so special. Checkin was smooth and got upgraded to a pool access room. The bed was comfortable and the AC was good. All the front staff were young and energetic, created good atmosphere during various afternoon activities. Foot massage was very very good for 1 hour, did in privacy in a massage room, highly recommended. Breakfast was good with so many choices, even gluten free food was available, nice one can sit outside next to the main pool. The main pool was busy from around midday, not a place to do laps, lots of children but all great atmosphere. With the loud music in the afternoon near the pool, it will be hard to have a nap, no problem at night, very quiet. It was only around 20 min to Bangla Road, a little bit less to JungCeylon. I like the Lounge which opened only from 11am to around 5pm I think, a nice, quiet, cool place to have some non alcoholic drinks with finger food. The Craft Beer Lounge near reception was good too, there was a big screen for sports and ample sofas available. The Lounge was not a full function lounge because it didn’t provide breakfast and evening alcoholic drinks+food. I was a little bit worry when I arrived that there were so many families, but there were more than enough spaces for everyone. Cleaning staff will knock on my door (I didn't have DND sign ON) to ask if I need the room cleaned or turn down service, very proactive, well done.

I would like to highly commend Grand Mercure Phuket for the outstanding hospitality extended to our group during our stay in early May. There were seven of us, and the experience was exceptional right from the booking stage. The team was proactive and thoughtful, sending warm welcome emails and gathering information in advance to ensure a comfortable and seamless stay. We truly appreciated the attention to detail, including arranging rooms close to one another, preparing welcome drinks, and accommodating our early check-in requests. A special mention goes to Bambi, who went above and beyond to make our group feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. The breakfast spread was excellent as well. I especially noticed and appreciated the thoughtful inclusion of dedicated Indian, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, which reflected the hotel’s commitment to catering to diverse guest preferences. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return to Grand Mercure Phuket in the future.
