We loved the size, air conditioner, and service in the room. The mattress was hard; we wish it had been more comfortable to sleep on for eight days of our stay. The breakfast was the same everyday and the location is great with public transportation available every 10 minutes by the 4 bus to Palma. The hotel needs modernization all around for the price we paid. The hotel is too big to get around if you are not able to walk. The hotel should upgrade and have assistance available when you arrive. The hotel is not a 5-star; I am not sure why other people would rate it that way. The staff was friendly. The entertainment every night was good. The taxis do take a long time to pick up. The places we visited were beautiful, so after being out all day it was awesome to walk into a clean room with cool air. Great time in Mallaco.

We had the most wonderful family stay at Hotel BonSol and genuinely can’t recommend it enough. We’ve travelled to lots of hotels as a family, but this was the first time we stayed somewhere that we only left the hotel once during our entire stay. There’s something incredibly special about BonSol. Being family owned, it has a warmth and personality that you just don’t get from other hotels. By the end of our stay, we genuinely felt like we were part of the BonSol family ourselves. The food was incredible, the hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful, and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. A special mention has to go to Vicky, who checked us in and was so warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. And if this review doesn’t quite explain just how much we fell in love with BonSol, we extended our trip 3 times which probably says it all. A huge thank you to the lovely Bon Sol team for the most beautiful stay x

We first visited the Bon Sol 23 years ago with our daughters aged 16 and 6 and we all fell in love with this utterly unique, idiosyncratic and charming family owned and run hotel. The service is exceptionally warm and friendly, and now on our many returns we are greeted as old friends. We have just returned from a family holiday which was an early celebration for our Ruby wedding anniversary - with both daughters, one son-in/law and two granddaughters aged 6 and 2. It was magical seeing the little ones discovering favourite places - the Cupola pool, jumping from the rock in the big pool (just the 6 yo), running down the tunnels, swimming in Cala Brugit - and eating at the beach restaurant. We had beautiful suites in the gardens near the beach - bright, spacious, spotlessly clean with huge terraces and sea views. The Bon Sol team spoiled us thoroughly - from the red roses, cava, chocolates and personal note in our room to the special anniversary dinner with a lovely flower arrangement and a surprise cake with cava. We were even serenaded by Pablo the guitarist with our favourite Spanish song. This is such a long way from bland, impersonal, corporate style - let it wrap around you in its inimitable way and you’ll fall in love with it too!!

We just got back from our first trip to the hotel yesterday. It was our first trip away with our baby and it was everything we hoped for. We had a family suite which gave us lots of space and the proximity to the beach and the beach restaurant was ideal. All the staff we met seemed genuinely keen to make our stay as positive as possible and were on hand to provide help as needed. The location of the hotel is great, super close to the airport and ideal for those early morning walks with our baby. We went full board and the food lived up to our expectations although we weren’t able to use the restaurant in the main hotel as my partner hadn’t bought any trousers and we weren’t aware that that was a specific rule. The hotel has a lovely feel about it very family orientated and relaxing. We definitely recommend the hotel to anyone looking to have an easy holiday with kids in a welcoming and pretty environment.

A hotel so good that you almost don’t want to recommend it! From the moment you walk through the doors, you feel at home while also feeling like you’ve arrived somewhere truly special. The location is absolutely outstanding, the hotel’s facilities are excellent, and the room we stayed in was simply magical. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to make our stay as special as possible. We truly can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. We’ll definitely be back!!!
