We loved our 11 night stay at the bordoy alcudia bay hotel. The staff are so friendly and really being excellent vibes to the hotel. Martin the entertainment guy was superb. A brilliant person who took pleasure from making others happy. The water polo, aerobics, and music bingo were great highlights. The rooms were good. Basic but just what you need for a good stay. Clean, modern and homely. Storage okay but perhaps could do with more for the future. The food was a good variety and different theme nights that rotated weekly. We especially enjoyed Mexican and oriental nights. The location was good. Quiet but only a 5 minute walk to beach, 20 minutes to the port, and 30 to old town. Would definitely recommend the hotel to others.

You have ar very friendly and polite young receptionist Max, we had a problem with room and he did all the best to make us happy. Also bar manager was friendly. We loved staff in dining room, and manager was so nice, helping to other staff members, running arround. Food was excellent. Room was great. Atmosphere fantastic. Singer ... brilliant. And I never write a reviews ... Definetly we will be back :) tip top Best regards from Riga

We last visited this hotel 9 years ago when it was the Aluasoul. I understood it had been renovated since but it looks like it was only the bar area. Our room was on the 4th floor looking north. It was adequate for a few days stay but we felt it did not have enough storage or floorspace for a 10 night stay. The hotel was very clean and staff very friendly and efficient. All spoke great English. The restaurant served quality food but too little choice for us. The fresh bread on offer was terrific. The bar service was very good with some international brands on all inclusive. We enjoyed our stay and may consider returning on a shorter stay basis.

We stayed at this hotel for five nights, and unfortunately, I don’t feel it lived up to its advertised four-star rating. On the evening we checked in, we asked reception about arranging a late checkout. We were told this would be fine and to sort it out a few days before we left. A few days later, we returned to reception and were told to come back 24 hours before departure. When we did, the receptionist explained that a note had been added to our booking by a previous member of staff asking if we still wanted the late checkout. We confirmed that we did and were ready to pay for it. However, we were then told the hotel was fully booked, so a late checkout wasn’t possible. What confused us was that later that evening I checked online and there were still rooms available to book, so I’m not sure why we were told the hotel was full. On checkout day, checkout wasn’t until 12pm. We returned from the beach at around 10am to find housekeeping had already been into our room, made it up for the next guests, and moved our belongings. We were very unhappy with this, as we were still checked in and hadn’t vacated the room. The food was another disappointment. The Italian-themed evening only offered one pizza, which was cold, and there were no clearly available vegetarian options. Some dishes that appeared to be vegetarian actually contained meat. Food wasn’t labelled properly, including allergen information, which could be a serious issue for guests with dietary requirements. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for vegetarians or vegans. Breakfast was also underwhelming, with several items often overcooked or burnt, despite us arriving at the restaurant right as it opened each morning. The room itself was clean and tidy. However, the facilities let it down. The shower leaked badly, flooding the bathroom, and there were signs of water damage on the ceiling. I had taken photos, but unfortunately they were lost when I changed my phone. The air conditioning was also poor, and the electricity in our room failed three times during our stay, leaving us without lights, power, or air conditioning until it was restored. On a positive note, the hotel looks lovely. The reception, pool area, and overall aesthetic are very nice, and the rooms are modern and attractive. It’s just a shame that the basics, communication, food quality, room maintenance, and the checkout experience didn’t match the appearance of the hotel. Overall, I left feeling disappointed. With better communication, improved food quality and labelling, and more attention to maintenance and guest experience, this hotel could be much better. Unfortunately, based on our stay, I wouldn’t choose to return.

We had a great stay at the Bordoy - the overall atmosphere at the hotel was very relaxed thanks to it being adult-only with plenty of great facilities. In the restaurant, there were plenty of both regional and continental dishes to chose from, though the restaurant at dinner time did on occasion have a small wait of 10-15 minutes for a table at peak times, it also meant the restaurant was very loud, which may be less suitable to those with sensory issues. The whole hotel was immaculately maintained, the cleaning and maintenance staff do a wonderful job of maintaining the upkeep of the hotel, and pool area. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, notably Ismael in the bar area serving drinks and Ricard in the restaurant, as well as Martin who was the perfect entertainer, hosting both the karaoke and music bingo nights, his energy really got everyone involved; he knew how to work a crowd! Pili also does an excellent job around the hotel, it was clear she works incredibly hard, and always had a smile on her face. As a first experience of all inclusive, I was very impressed, and would highly recommend this hotel.
