We recently returned from a wonderful stay at Constance Belle Mare Plage in Mauritius, and all we can say is WOW! Everything about our experience was absolutely perfect. From the beautiful, comfortable rooms to the exceptional service, every detail was taken care of. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive, making us feel special throughout our stay. The food was another highlight! Every meal was amazing, with fantastic quality, variety and flavours. As golf lovers, we were also blown away by the two incredible golf courses. Both courses were absolutely amazing and a real highlight of our holiday. What made the golfing experience even better was the pace of play — completing a round in just 3 hours and 30 minutes was fantastic! It made the entire experience so much more enjoyable and is something we really appreciated. It’s rare to find a resort that gets absolutely everything right, but Constance Belle Mare Plage truly exceeded our expectations. From the accommodation and dining to the world-class golf and outstanding hospitality, everything was exceptional. We couldn’t have asked for a better holiday and would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Mauritius, especially golf enthusiasts! We will definitely be back! A huge thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable experience!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and can highly recommend it! What impressed us most was the beautiful beach, the excellent food, and above all, the exceptional service. We have honestly never experienced service like this before. Every member of staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay as enjoyable as possible. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcome and very well taken care of. We also loved the great range of activities and services offered by the hotel. A particular highlight were the complimentary snorkeling trips. Overall, it was the perfect combination of a beautiful location, delicious food, outstanding hospitality, and plenty of things to enjoy. We had an unforgettable stay and would absolutely love to come back!

Constance Belle Mare Plage genuinely stands out for its effortless blend of elegance, warmth and excellent service. We visited with friends in October and were impressed by the beautiful beachfront setting, spacious grounds and relaxed atmosphere. Despite being a very large resort, it never felt overcrowded and it was always peaceful. The staff were attentive, the dining was consistently excellent and the entire property was beautifully maintained. It certainly delivers the polished experience expected of a five-star resort and hospitality for which Mauritius is known. A memorable stay, and certainly a hotel we would confidently recommend and happily revisit.

I've added that point naturally after the housekeeping section. We chose this resort expecting a genuine five-star experience, but unfortunately it was one of the most disappointing hotel stays we've ever had. We traveled as a group under the same booking reference and specifically requested rooms close to each other. Despite asking every day, the staff kept telling us, "Tomorrow." This continued for four consecutive days. What made it even more frustrating was that we saw multiple rooms around us becoming vacant and new guests checking in. Instead of trying to accommodate our request, we were eventually told that the only rooms they could offer together were in a lower category than the rooms we had already paid for. That response was simply unacceptable. We were also celebrating two birthdays during our stay. We informed the hotel in advance by email and reminded several shift managers throughout our four-night stay. Not only did they fail to arrange even the smallest gesture, but on our last night we were told that if we wanted to celebrate, we should simply book one of their restaurants ourselves. For a hotel that advertises itself as five-star luxury, this level of hospitality was extremely disappointing. The housekeeping and room service were equally poor. The cleanliness of all our rooms was far below acceptable standards. When we reported the issue, a very young staff member arrived with an insect spray, but that did not solve the problem. Throughout our stay we found lizards, flies, ants, and other bugs inside the rooms. This is not something any guest should experience, especially at a luxury resort. The breakfast was also very disappointing. The selection was limited, the variety was poor, and the overall quality was very average. For a five-star resort, we expected a much better breakfast experience with a wider range of fresh, high-quality options. The rooms were also equipped with only the most basic amenities, falling well short of what you would expect from a five-star property. What made this experience even more disappointing was that we stayed at another hotel later on the same trip, where the difference was immediately obvious. The service, hospitality, cleanliness, attention to detail, and professionalism were exactly what a true five-star hotel should provide. They even surprised us with birthday cakes in each room upon check-in simply because they had noticed our birth dates from our passports—without us having to remind anyone. Unfortunately, this resort failed us in almost every aspect: guest service, communication, housekeeping, cleanliness, hospitality, and dining. It felt as though our concerns were repeatedly ignored rather than resolved. This was our first stay at this resort, and it will definitely be our last. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this hotel to anyone looking for the level of service and quality that a five-star hotel should consistently deliver. If you're posting this on Google Reviews or TripAdvisor, this version is professional, factual, and firm while staying focused on your experience.

We had a wonderful stay at **Constance Belle Mare** and truly enjoyed every moment. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning location, gorgeous grounds and a wonderful atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your holiday. There is so much to enjoy throughout the stay — beach is one of the nicest in Mauritius, every evening there is a fun and enjoyable entertainment program, the gym is very well equipped, and the spa is a beautiful and relaxing experience. The facilities, beach and overall atmosphere make the hotel a truly special place. A very special thank you to **Luvesh**, who was incredibly kind and attentive and made sure we had a comfortable room. He also arranged a lovely special dinner for our wedding anniversary, which made the evening even more memorable. And a warm thank you to **Chef Gerry** from the kitchen, who was always so kind and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The combination of the beautiful hotel, excellent facilities and, above all, the wonderful people who work there made our stay truly memorable. We would be very happy to return! ❤️
