Everything was simply perfect – from the beautiful atmosphere to the food, drinks and outstanding service. A very special thank you to Jankee Paige, our wonderful host, who made us feel incredibly welcome and took such great care of us throughout the evening. The service was absolutely top-notch – attentive, warm and professional. The food was delicious, the drinks were excellent, and the whole ambience made the evening truly special. Everything was 10/10 from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely come back. Highly recommended! ❤️

We had a fabulous time at sugar beach, the room was excellent and the resort was immaculate. Very impressed with Paige, Dylan and Rishi at The Buddha Beach Bar Restaurant. They all went above and beyond to make the two meals we had there absolutely brilliant. Big shout out to Anand in the patio restaurant who always looked after us extremely well and had a table cleared and ready as soon as we arrived. Unfortunately one lunchtime he wasn’t there and the younger staff were left in charge and were floundering. The service on that day was severely lacking but this is a training issue. Several people asked for drinks and were never served and ended up leaving. This can easily be addressed with training. We were all inclusive and can’t help but think there are easier ways of identifying clientele on AI than having them sign after every meal/drinks in the bar. Maybe a suggestion would be different colour coded room cards would be easier to identify which board customers were on and having them swipe their card or indeed just show it when ordering. This is just constructive criticism and should no way be read as negative because our stay was amazing and the surprise room upgrade a huge bonus. We had a really nice stay at Sugar Beach and enjoyed every day of our holiday. The resort is beautiful, the beach is amazing, and the whole place has a very relaxed atmosphere. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. A special thank you to Patricia from room service. She was always so kind and made sure our room was taken care of. We really appreciated her warm and friendly service. Thank you as well to all the staff at Sugar Beach for making us feel welcome during our stay. We had a lovely time and would definitely be happy to come back again.

We held our wedding here and stayed on for our honeymoon, and without a doubt, this is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. If we had to do it all over again, we wouldn't change a single detail. What made our stay unforgettable: • Wedding & Organization: The wedding organization in the resort was top-tier. The staff took care of every little detail, the service was impeccable, and we were able to fully relax and enjoy our special day completely stress-free. • Beach & Sunsets: The beach is literally picture-perfect – soft white sand and turquoise water. The sunsets we experienced here were nothing short of magical. • Food & Staff: The food was incredibly diverse, fresh, and delicious every single day. The staff is among the warmest and friendliest we've ever met; always smiling, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making you feel special. • Activities & Amenities: For those who enjoy an active holiday, the facilities are fantastic. We loved the morning yoga and the well-equipped gym. A huge bonus was the complimentary rental of water sports equipment, including kayaks, SUPs, and snorkeling gear. Sugar Beach gave us the best memories of our lives. If you are looking for the perfect venue for a wedding, a honeymoon, or a luxury getaway, look no further. We will definitely be back at the first opportunity!

About Maré Maré restaurant, Hands down, the best meal we’ve had in Mauritius since we arrived. There is honestly nothing to fault, everything was simply excellent. The setting, the food, and the service were all outstanding. The food was absolutely wonderful, and I had the best risotto I’ve ever eaten in my life! A special mention to Sandeep and Danish, who made the experience even more special with their warm, attentive and five-star service. We truly couldn’t have asked for anything better.
