I can honestly say this is the best hotel my husband and I have stayed in. When we first arrived the booking agent had made a mistake as there was no booking on the system, we have since contacted the agent to complain . The hotel check in staff were absolutely amazing and managed to sort everything out much to our relief. Rebecca in particular was so kind and helpful, she and all the staff made us feel very welcome and made our holiday a very memorable one, nothing was too much trouble for them. We mentioned to Rebecca my husband had just had his 70th birthday and to our surprise she arranged for a cake to be brought to our room. We also were treated to a complimentary bottle of wine, a luxurious bath treat with pretty flower petals, also towels in the shape of two swans with petals laid around on our bed. We were absolutely amazed at the effort put into making us feel welcome. We can’t say thank you enough. Our room was so very comfortable with everything we needed. It was a beach facing room on the ground floor, only a minutes walk to the loveliest beach. There are three different restaurants which are all excellent, wonderful variety and such delicious food. We ate mostly in the buffet restaurant where there was such an amazing choice of different dishes. The service was brilliant, JP and his team worked hard to provide a high quality service. All three restaurants are run to a very high standard. We stayed for 10 nights and loved every minute. This is definitely the place to stay in Mauritius.

We had a wonderful stay and would happily return again. What really makes this hotel stand out is the amazing staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Their attention and kindness made a huge difference and created such a warm atmosphere. The hotel itself is beautiful and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Our room was extremely comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The bathroom was also excellent, with all the essentials provided, including a hairdryer and hair styling tools, which was a lovely touch and added to the overall comfort of our stay. If you’re looking for somewhere to truly relax and switch off, this is definitely the place to be. The beach is stunning, and waking up to the sunrise over the sea was one of the highlights of our trip. The food was very good, and we especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning, which offered plenty of choice. There are also two bar areas where you can sit back, enjoy a drink, and take in the beautiful surroundings. One thing that isn’t mentioned often enough is that the hotel has two swimming pools, which was a fantastic bonus. There is also a well-equipped gym and a games room, providing plenty of entertainment and activities for guests of all ages. In the evenings, the live entertainment created a lovely atmosphere and was a great way to end the day. The hotel grounds are huge, which we really loved. If you enjoy walking, jogging, or going for a run, there’s plenty of space to do so while enjoying the scenery. Overall, this hotel offers the perfect combination of comfort, relaxation, great facilities, beautiful surroundings, and exceptional service. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay and are already looking forward to coming back with our family in the future.

Amazing! 😊 The resort is absolutely beautiful, with stunning surroundings and a perfect beachfront location. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. We especially appreciated the variety of activities available both at and outside the resort, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

An excellent hotel on the beachfront with a beautiful beach: soft sand, clear water, and moderate waves. The beach offers both comfortable sun loungers and sofas with soft mattresses. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need for a relaxing stay, especially the comfy pillows. The breakfasts are excellent—delicious and varied. I'd especially like to mention the staff: very polite and attentive, quickly responding to any requests. We were very pleased with our stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Constance Le Chaland and can wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic Mauritius experience. What we loved most was the intimate atmosphere of the resort. Unlike many larger hotels, the property never felt crowded and blends perfectly into the natural surroundings of the stunning beach in the untouched southeast of the island. It was the ideal place to relax, unwind, and truly enjoy the beauty of Mauritius. The food was excellent throughout our stay — delicious, varied, and always prepared with great care. Every single member of the staff was attentive, warm, and genuinely committed to making guests feel welcome. It is honestly difficult to single out individuals because the entire team was fantastic, but we would especially like to thank a few people who made our stay even more memorable: Melissa from Guest Relations took exceptional care of us and was always available to help with any questions or requests with kindness and professionalism. Jonathan from the fitness team organized the activities with great enthusiasm and a lot of fun, and we especially enjoyed the wonderful excursion to Pont Naturel with him. The spa team provided us with moments of pure relaxation and outstanding treatments. Every morning, Maria welcomed us with genuine warmth and prepared delicious crêpes that quickly became part of our daily highlight. At the bar, Avinash stood out among many great colleagues for his particularly friendly and attentive service. If there is anything that could still be improved, it would only be some small details that would make the experience even more in line with a perfect five-star standard. Service in the main restaurant could occasionally be a bit quicker and more attentive, as some orders sometimes took a little long or were occasionally forgotten. In addition, housekeeping could pay a bit more attention to certain details during the daily cleaning routine. However, these were only minor points in an otherwise truly outstanding stay. Overall, a huge thank you to the entire Constance team for such a memorable stay. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates a smaller, high-quality resort with carefully selected activities — many of them complimentary — in one of the most beautiful and natural parts of Mauritius.
