    While Le Jadis markets itself as a 5-star luxury resort, the actual experience on the ground falls short of that standard. The facilities here are fairly minimal for a resort of this supposed caliber. If you enjoy relaxing by the beach with a drink, be prepared to get it yourself, there is absolutely no food or beverage service provided to the beach area. Getting assistance from the staff is an uphill battle; the majority of the team seems content to sit around the reception area all day rather than actively hosting or attending to guests throughout the property. The most frustrating part of our stay, however, has been the hotel's completely unprofessional handling of our accounts. During our stay, we opted out of several pre-paid additions. We discussed this directly with management, who formally agreed to a partial refund. Upon check-out, the front desk confirmed the refund was being processed, and the hotel even sent us a follow-up email explicitly stating we would receive our money back. It has now been almost two months. We have received absolutely nothing. Despite sending multiple emails and making numerous follow-up calls, the hotel is now completely ignoring us. It is incredibly disheartening to see a luxury resort ghosting its guests over an agreed upon financial refund. This is absolutely not the level of service or integrity I would expect from a 5-star establishment. I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you expect reliability, attentiveness, and basic professional courtesy.

    It is my 4th time at Le Jadis and I HAD to delete my old review to post a new one. Every time we've cone to Le Jadis, it has nothing but improved. The food was excellent, the staff was amazing especially the waiters at sylea always accommodating our requests for food order and Oulina at the reception was very friendly. The pool in the room was always heated to the perfect temperature to swim and the room it self was amazing with lots of space. The spa hydrotherapy and sauna was amazing. Very relaxing, clean and quite luxury hotel. It is definitely worth your while and price. The hotel is amazing although it has some little tiny mishaps, namely: 1. In the parts of the resort, the wifi is atrocious and can be slow in room. 2. Location is a bit secluded and beach is not swimmer friendly with murky water and rocks and algea, though the resort provides a pool with real sand to swim. 3. Birds making a mess on the terrace and pool with droppings and leafs, but cleaners always clean it up everyday. 4. Since the main restaurant is a la carte, if youre staying more than 3 days it may be hard to order food as menu stays the same. It would be nice to need a changing menu every 2 days at most to provide new choices. 5. Room may feel a little dark at times during the night and the lamp by the door was wobbly. Overall an amazing experience. Will definitely come back

    Had an amazing stay at Le Jadis The view is absolutely breathtaking 🌊 Rooms were spacious, beautiful and very clean. We requested a baby crib and it was arranged promptly. Staff was extremely helpful throughout. Special mention to Mr. Kiran at the front desk who made our stay super comfortable. Restaurant staff was also very kind and helpful with baby’s food, high chair etc. We stayed in 2 different rooms— one garden view and one ocean view with a private pool. The pool was super clean, heated and had very less chlorine… very baby friendly 👍 Many activities like glass boat coral watching, pedalo boat, snorkeling, hamam & sauna were complimentary in our package which was a big plus. A few drawbacks: * The sauna in our room wasn’t very effective. * Resort is not stroller friendly. * In the private pool room, the wooden flooring was very noisy and it disturbed our baby’s sleep. After he slept, it was difficult to move around without making noise. They should definitely fix this. Overall, a luxurious stay and highly recommended ❤️

    My stay at Jadis Mauritius was unfortunately disappointing overall. The reception experience was poor, and the manager was unhelpful throughout our stay. However, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Olena, who was exceptionally kind, professional, understanding, and genuinely helpful. She was the only person who made us feel welcomed and supported, and she deserves special recognition for her outstanding service. The rest of the staff were also friendly and courteous. On a positive note, Célia Restaurant served excellent food, and we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience there. Unfortunately, the accommodation itself, including the room, bed, swimming pool, and overall resort facilities, fell well below expectations. As Gulf travelers, we are accustomed to a high standard of hospitality and luxury, and this resort simply did not meet that standard. What made the experience even more disappointing was the manager’s behavior during our departure. On our last day, he personally called us to insist that we leave the room and refused to offer a late check-out, despite the resort being quiet, uncrowded, and clearly outside peak season. Additionally, when checking out, we were presented with charges for certain dinner items. We had booked a Half Board package and reasonably understood that our dinners were included. At no point during check-in or at the restaurant were we informed that some dishes carried additional charges. This lack of transparency was unfair and left a very negative final impression. I strongly encourage management to take this feedback seriously. A manager dealing directly with guests should remain professional, objective, and service-oriented. Unfortunately, our experience suggested a personal and confrontational approach that is not appropriate in hospitality and significantly affected our stay. I would not choose to stay here again, nor would I recommend it to travelers expecting a true luxury resort experience. النجمتين من اجل اولينا و الستاف المحترم فقط

    We spent the second week of our honeymoon here in complete relaxation mode. Room was fantastic, spacious and clean. We were lucky enough to stay in a beach front room with a private pool. Breakfast was a real highlight, with many varied options from around the world. The chef was amazing (I can’t remember her name but she made me gluten free pancakes every day and was genuinely lovey). In fact all the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Special thank you to Kiran who went above and beyond to make us feel special. Would recommend to anyone looking to have a truly relaxing time.
