We stayed at Domes of Corfu and overall had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the hotel is located by a beautiful sandy beach and is very family-friendly. Our two-year-old son especially enjoyed the children’s water play areas and had a great time throughout our stay. The staff were generally kind and attentive. In particular, one waitress in the buffet restaurant (unfortunately I don’t remember her name) was exceptionally friendly and consistently made our breakfast and dinner experiences more pleasant by checking in on us and ensuring we were well taken care of. However, there were several issues that made the stay feel not fully aligned with the price and expectations of a 5-star hotel. The overall condition of the hotel felt worn down in places. For example, the toilet seat was already broken upon arrival and the balcony door could not be properly locked, which was a serious safety concern as it left the room accessible from outside. The elevators were also very small and often problematic, with broken displays and long waiting times. We also encountered a cockroach in our room. While the staff responded quickly and checked in with us afterwards, it still left an uncomfortable feeling for the rest of the stay. In the restaurant areas, cats were frequently around the tables, sometimes even jumping onto chairs. We also received a dirty glass once, and the children’s pools were quite cold. In summary, it is a nice family hotel in a great location, but for the price we would not choose to return.

Domes of Corfu feels like a secluded sanctuary at the very edge of the map, tucked away at the edge of the world, your only companions are the endless blue of the Ionian Sea and a silence so profound it’s only interrupted by the crickets—a tiny, rhythmic orchestra that will eventually synchronize their chirping perfectly to the beat of your own heart beat. While reaching this retreat is an adventure in itself—whether you’re arriving by private yacht, a standard taxi, or embarking on a "green warrior" trek by bus that consumes half your day—the effort is immediately rewarded. You are greeted by a team of genuinely friendly staff who hand you a refreshing welcome drink before whisking you off to your room. The decor is nothing short of stunning, offering a sophisticated aesthetic that perfectly captures that breezy, high-end island vibe. However, be prepared for a mysterious olfactory guest; a faint, lingering scent occasionally wanders through the rooms and hallways. Whether it’s the lingering mystery of the "dead Greek gods" or just a quirk of coastal plumbing, a quick spritz of room freshener usually clears the air, allowing you to settle into the undeniable luxury of your surroundings. Once you’re settled, the resort truly hits its stride, turning into a playground of relaxation and culinary delights. The dining scene is a strong contender for the highlight of the trip, offering a fusion of Asian and Greek flavors that are mostly spectacular—though do keep an eye on your chicken, as the local feline population is more than happy to turn your lunch into their personal banquet! The atmosphere is wonderfully laid-back; you won’t find any aggressive 6:00 AM towel-blocking at the pools here. Instead, families lounge in a state of pure "wind-down" mode, kids splash joyfully in the gardens, and the vibe remains delightfully unhurried. For those seeking a bit of solitude, the designated adult-only areas provide the perfect, quiet corners to escape the chaos. It’s a fantastic spot that embraces both its quirks and its charms, making it an ideal choice for anyone looking to truly unplug and drift away from the clock.

We had an absolutely incredible 5-night stay at Domes of Corfu. As a family traveling with a 2-year-old and a 1-year-old, this was without question one of the best family vacations we've ever had. The highlight of our stay was the Kids Club—it was the best we've ever experienced. The staff were exceptionally professional, warm, and genuinely caring. Our children felt completely at home from the very first day, and it gave us real peace of mind knowing they were in such wonderful hands. Every day was filled with fun, age-appropriate activities that they absolutely loved. The hotel itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and the attention to cleanliness was noticeable throughout our stay. The food was consistently delicious with plenty of variety for both adults and children. The beach was stunning, with calm, shallow water that was perfect for young kids. What truly makes Domes of Corfu stand out is how thoughtfully designed it is for families. Between the kiddie pool, the splash park, the beautiful beach, and the outstanding Kids Club, our children were entertained from morning until evening. There was always something fun for them to do, and every area felt safe and welcoming. If you're traveling with young children, I honestly can't recommend this hotel enough. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we left with amazing family memories. We can't wait to come bac

We recently stayed at Domes of Corfu and, unfortunately, our experience was nowhere near what we expected from a five-star luxury resort. The biggest issue was the constant noise. Our room (208) was surrounded by families with young children, the corridors were extremely echoey, and we could hear everyone walking past. The lounge above our room was also very noisy, with tables and chairs being dragged across the floor until around midnight. This hotel really needs to decide who its target clientele is. It appears to be heavily focused on families rather than couples. There is nothing wrong with being family-friendly, but it should be honest about that. The adults-only beach area was not enforced—the sign was even removed during our stay and never replaced—and children regularly used the main pool instead of the children’s pool. Couples looking for a peaceful, relaxing holiday are unlikely to find it here. The room itself needs updating and the cleanliness was disappointing. We found long brunette hairs on the sofa and in our towels on multiple days. Our shower leaked, the balcony doors did not lock properly, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night for no reason, and every morning at 3:04 a.m. the room phone alarm sounded until we eventually unplugged it. Food was another disappointment. Vegetarian choices were very limited, and even simple details such as serving tea without a teaspoon at breakfast reflected a lack of attention to detail. Service throughout the hotel was inconsistent. The beach bar and restaurant were particularly poor, with drinks taking over 20 minutes to arrive, orders being forgotten, and incorrect food being served. We regularly had to chase staff for both food and drinks, and the QR code ordering system at the beach didn’t work. Room service arrived in cardboard takeaway boxes, which is completely unacceptable for a five-star hotel, and even after calling housekeeping the empty boxes were left outside our room. The laundry service was equally disappointing. An item of clothing went missing, we had to repeatedly chase for our laundry to be returned, and only then were we told that no laundry is processed at weekends. We also joined Domes Perks before arriving, but it was never acknowledged during check-in or check-out—we had to ask for the discounts ourselves. Reception also disappointed us. We were told there were very few local restaurants, yet we easily found several excellent options within a 15-minute drive. As the hotel is isolated and taxis are expensive, better local knowledge would have been appreciated. Overall, the location is beautiful, but the hotel simply does not deliver the luxury experience that its five-star rating and pricing suggest. Between the constant noise, poor service, cleanliness issues, maintenance problems, limited food options and lack of properly managed adults-only areas, we left feeling extremely disappointed. Sadly, we would not return or recommend Domes of Corfu to couples looking for a peaceful luxury holiday.

We recently had our first family holiday at the Domes in Corfu, and it was exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the stunning sea views set the tone for a really special and relaxing week. We loved being able to dine outside each morning and evening, with a great selection of high quality, 5 star buffet food. The separate lunch restaurant was also a highlight, offering table service, a good variety of dishes, and beautifully presented meals. The hotel itself is stylish and feels very luxurious. We stayed in a garden room which was peaceful and comfortable. As new parents, we really appreciated having a baby cot and steriliser provided in our room, which made things so much easier for us. The private beach area was another standout, with comfortable sun loungers just steps from the crystal clear sea. What made the biggest impression though was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and attentive and could not do enough for us. A special mention to Sara from the dinner service, who greeted us by name each evening, and Konstantinos our bellman who made us feel so welcome on arrival and departure. Thank you for making our first holiday as a family of three so memorable.
