Our stay at Ikos Dassia was, without question, one of the most special holidays our family has ever experienced. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, with exceptional facilities, outstanding restaurants, stunning surroundings, and service that consistently exceeds expectations. However, what truly made our holiday unforgettable was one extraordinary member of the Deluxe Concierge Team: Elias. Hospitality is often measured by standards and procedures, but Elias delivered something far beyond that. He brought genuine care, kindness, and warmth to every interaction. From checking on us each day to ensure everything was perfect, to the thoughtful surprises he arranged throughout our stay, he made our family feel truly valued and cared for. What impressed us most was that his kindness never felt forced or transactional. He genuinely cared about our family’s experience and consistently went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. He anticipated needs before we even had to ask and made every day feel special. We’ve stayed at many luxury hotels and resorts over the years, but it is people like Elias who set the very best apart from the rest. He is a credit to the Deluxe Concierge Team, a credit to Ikos Dassia, and a wonderful example of what true hospitality looks like. When we look back on our time in Corfu, we will remember the beautiful resort, the incredible food, and the stunning surroundings. We already miss Ikos Dassia and cannot wait to return.

I have to give a huge shout out to the kids club team who looked after our 2 children so beautifully. Christina and the team, thank you so much for actually giving us a holiday and knowing our children were having the best possible care similar to their nurseries at home including nap times in the creche and snacks, walks in the stroller & visits to the splash park. You deserve lots of recognition :)

Dear Team, I wanted to take a moment to extend our heartfelt congratulations to all of you, especially the chef from Italian restaurant Konstantinos Gavrilidis for the outstanding experience you deliver. From the quality of the dishes to the attention to detail in presentation and service, it’s clear that a great deal of passion, skill, and teamwork goes into everything you do. The flavors were exceptional, and the overall atmosphere made the experience truly memorable. Please share our appreciation with the entire kitchen and front-of-house staff. We want to send our appreciation to Giorgos for a perfect organisation and supervision. Well done mate, you doing a great job here. The whole team did an excellent job tonight but we want to mention another person that we remarked, and he is Marios. Very positive, professional and always smiling. He gave us a very good vibe. It’s not easy to maintain such a high standard, and your dedication does not go unnoticed. Wishing you continued success, and I look forward to visiting again soon. Well done to you all ! Best regards, Dan Caba and family ( from the big group of Brazilians )

We stayed at Ikos Dassia for a week and paid around £4,000 including flights and transfers. At that price, I thought it was good value overall. However, having spoken to guests paying over €1,000 per night, I would have been disappointed had we paid those prices. The resort itself is beautiful. Our Superior Double room was spacious, clean and had a lovely side sea view. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, the beach was excellent, and the sunbeds and towels were very high quality. The complimentary water sports and use of a Mini for the day were great extras. The buffet was genuinely impressive and one of the best hotel buffets I’ve experienced, with a huge selection and high-quality ingredients including lamb chops, sea bass ceviche, sushi, stone-baked pizzas, fresh fish and steaks. The wine list was also perfectly decent for an all-inclusive resort. The biggest let-down was the food outside the buffet. The unlimited à la carte dining, marketed as featuring menus designed by Michelin-starred chefs, simply isn’t restaurant quality. Much of it felt like mass catering and prioritised presentation over taste. The “Kleftiko” in the Greek restaurant was minced lamb wrapped in filo pastry rather than a traditional kleftiko, the steak in Enoteca was dry and chewy as though it had been pre-cooked and reheated, the garlic prawns lacked both garlic and seasoning, and the calamari was clearly frozen and deep-fried. The pool and beach food was also disappointing, with items such as frozen chicken wings. If all-inclusive holidays are your usual style of holiday, I can see why many people love Ikos. However, if you particularly value authentic, high-quality food and usually seek out the best local restaurants and traditional dishes, it may not live up to the hype. I also have a dairy intolerance and this wasn’t always handled properly. On several occasions I ordered coffee with almond milk and was served cow’s milk instead, and on one occasion I was given another guest’s breakfast containing cheese. Thankfully I have an intolerance rather than an allergy, but there needs to be greater attention to detail in this area. We also had a significant issue with the air conditioning. On our first night, it didn’t cool the room properly and we had a very poor night’s sleep. We reported it immediately and an engineer attended, but despite spending around 20 minutes looking at it, the problem remained. The following morning we complained again and were told an engineer visited while we were at breakfast and it was because we’d left the balcony door open, which was untrue and didn’t make sense given the system doesn’t operate at all if the door is open. It felt like we were being fobbed off rather than the issue being properly investigated. It wasn’t until we escalated the matter to the concierge and were out for the day that it was finally fixed, showing there had been a fault all along. To the resort’s credit, the duty manager then sought us out every day afterwards to make sure we were happy and even sent a personalised map to our room for our Mini day, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, Ikos Dassia is a beautiful resort with excellent staff and facilities, and we had a nice holiday. However, in our opinion, the food and some aspects of the service don’t justify the very high nightly rates that many guests pay.

Had a great stay here apart from a couple of negatives, which may sound like i’m being overly fussy but…. On check in we were offered a seat in the lobby and a glass of fizz, one of the staff did our check in on an ipad so all very relaxed, he went to get our room key and was gone about 20 minutes, we were tired after the flight so after a while my wife went to find him. He came back apologised and said he was helping other guests ! Surely you should deal with the ones you are with first? The restaurant had closed so we ordered room service, the kitchen said they were busy so it would be a while but when it did turn up the fries were stone cold. We were told to book any à la carte restaurants first thing in the morning, when we went to do this we were told there was no availability. As first timers we were not aware that it is ESSENTIAL to bookcthes via the Ikos app in advance. We ordered lunch at the pool bar , again the food was served cold ( this became the norm). Following day we had lunch in one of the restaurants we ordered dessert ( fruit salad and chocolate cake ) after 20 minutes we asked the waitress were it was , she went to check then 5 minutes later the restaurant manager came over , apologised and said the kitchen was very busy . I asked how it could take so long to serve 2 cold desserts? At theis point he became quite dismissive so we left ( without any) My wife went to the ladies so i complained at reception and also about the evening reservations. At this point she said ‘we have a table booked for you this evening at 8pm . I asked when was someone going to advise me? We eventually had 2 a la carte evening bookings but it took a lot of asking ! Not something that adds to the experience in my eyes. We had the same issue booking the sunset cruise ( we didn’t get to go! ) Generally the staff were very polite but I did feel at times we were treated as something of an inconvenience. IMPORTANT Please do ensure you make your bookings on the app well in advance.
