We stayed at Domes of Corfu and overall had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the hotel is located by a beautiful sandy beach and is very family-friendly. Our two-year-old son especially enjoyed the children’s water play areas and had a great time throughout our stay. The staff were generally kind and attentive. In particular, one waitress in the buffet restaurant (unfortunately I don’t remember her name) was exceptionally friendly and consistently made our breakfast and dinner experiences more pleasant by checking in on us and ensuring we were well taken care of. However, there were several issues that made the stay feel not fully aligned with the price and expectations of a 5-star hotel. The overall condition of the hotel felt worn down in places. For example, the toilet seat was already broken upon arrival and the balcony door could not be properly locked, which was a serious safety concern as it left the room accessible from outside. The elevators were also very small and often problematic, with broken displays and long waiting times. We also encountered a cockroach in our room. While the staff responded quickly and checked in with us afterwards, it still left an uncomfortable feeling for the rest of the stay. In the restaurant areas, cats were frequently around the tables, sometimes even jumping onto chairs. We also received a dirty glass once, and the children’s pools were quite cold. In summary, it is a nice family hotel in a great location, but for the price we would not choose to return.

I chose this hotel based on a strong recommendation from someone who had stayed at another hotel in your chain in a different city, so my expectations were high. I paid around €500 per night for four nights (approximately €2,000 in total), and I have no problem paying that kind of price when the experience justifies it. Unfortunately, in this case, it simply didn't. The hotel itself feels somewhat outdated and is clearly in need of renovation. Breakfast was good, but the housekeeping was only average. At this price point, I would expect exceptional cleanliness and service, not something that merely meets the minimum standard. One of the biggest disappointments occurred during the World Cup. We wanted to watch a match, but the only TV showing it was in the hotel's pub. At halftime, the staff turned the TV off because the pub was closing. Honestly, that perfectly summed up the gap between the price and the level of service. At a hotel charging €500 per night, I would expect a simple solution to allow guests to continue watching such a major event. In addition, housekeeping equipment was left in the hallways for hours throughout the day, and dirty dishes that another guest had left outside their room remained there for about 24 hours before being collected. These may seem like small details, but together they create the impression of a lack of attention to detail that is not acceptable for a hotel in this price range. Overall, this is not a bad hotel. However, when you're paying €500 per night, expectations are naturally much higher. Unfortunately, the experience did not justify the price. It's a shame, because with better maintenance, greater attention to cleanliness, and a stronger focus on guest service, this hotel could truly live up to the rates it charges.

Third time at Domes of Corfu. The setting is absolutely wonderful. We had a beautiful family vacation with our 11-month-old baby. The hotel overall is great, especially the pool and beach areas. We lost power and AC a couple of times, but that’s completely understandable given the remote and natural location of the resort. On this visit, we found a "unicorn". Nowadays, most employees just do the bare minimum, but PANAGIOTIS made our dinners incredibly enjoyable and stood out enormously from the rest. He wasn't just attentive and lovely with us and our baby; I watched him serve everyone with a genuine smile and a true desire to do his job well (a rare sight in 2026!). He worked just as fast as everyone else, yet always took the time to ask every guest how everything was or to share a quick, kind gesture. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A brief reflection: hospitality is a people business. You travel to a destination to enjoy yourself, and the people who take care of you become a core part of the experience you take home at the end of the trip. I hope to return in a few years and see this guy as a Restaurant or Area Manager at the very least.. you don't find employees like him every day. He, along with a few girls who always had a smile and the sunbed attendant who closed the pool every day, truly made our stay a delight. For this reason, we will definitely return to this special corner at some point. 🇬🇷☀️🛩️

We had high expectations for this hotel, particularly as it presents itself as a 5-star property, and while there were some things we really enjoyed, overall we felt the experience fell short of 5-star standards. The hotel is in a beautiful setting, and the beach is a real highlight. It is lovely, clean and the water is wonderfully clear. We also stayed in a Tropical Family Suite, which worked very well for our family as the children had their own separate sleeping area. Unfortunately, the rooms and service let the hotel down. The rooms are far from soundproof – we could hear doors closing, furniture being moved around in the room above and even conversations from the neighbouring room. This made it difficult to get the peace and quiet you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Housekeeping was another disappointment. Our room was not cleaned to the standard we expected, with noticeable dust and a general need for a proper deep clean. For example, the shower head was heavily covered in limescale, which is particularly disappointing for a hotel marketed as 5-star and the floors were not swept daily, meaning there was visible dust and hairs. The bathroom itself also felt tired and in need of a makeover. Throughout our stay, the hotel also seemed understaffed, which may explain some of the service issues we experienced. At times, staff appeared stretched and this affected the overall level of service and attention to detail. For a hotel positioning itself as 5-star, we expected a more consistent and attentive experience. The food was average. We found ourselves getting bored with the buffet restaurant after just two dinners. We also tried the Greek restaurant, Meza, outdoors, but unfortunately our meal was repeatedly disrupted by wasps getting onto our food. Some members of staff were sympathetic, but others simply shrugged and said there was nothing they could do. What made this particularly frustrating was that we had specifically asked for a table inside when we arrived, only to be told that they did not serve inside. At the end of the meal, the manager then told us that we should have asked for an indoor table. On a more positive note, the Asian restaurant, Yasoi was lovely and we really enjoyed our meal there. There was also an issue at the beach bar which concerned us. I specifically ordered a coffee with oat milk because I have a dairy intolerance, but dairy milk was used. I only discovered this when I returned to ask for sugar and thought to double-check. The staff were apologetic when I raised it, but this shouldn’t have happened. Overall, we loved the location, beach and family suite, but the quality of housekeeping, noise levels, food and inconsistent service meant that the hotel did not feel like a true 5-star experience. In our opinion, it is closer to a 4-star hotel, with the service in particular falling short of what we would expect from a 5-star property.

We had an absolutely incredible 5-night stay at Domes of Corfu. As a family traveling with a 2-year-old and a 1-year-old, this was without question one of the best family vacations we've ever had. The highlight of our stay was the Kids Club—it was the best we've ever experienced. The staff were exceptionally professional, warm, and genuinely caring. Our children felt completely at home from the very first day, and it gave us real peace of mind knowing they were in such wonderful hands. Every day was filled with fun, age-appropriate activities that they absolutely loved. The hotel itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and the attention to cleanliness was noticeable throughout our stay. The food was consistently delicious with plenty of variety for both adults and children. The beach was stunning, with calm, shallow water that was perfect for young kids. What truly makes Domes of Corfu stand out is how thoughtfully designed it is for families. Between the kiddie pool, the splash park, the beautiful beach, and the outstanding Kids Club, our children were entertained from morning until evening.
