We stayed here for our honeymoon. It was truly a magical experience! It was peaceful, relaxing, and the service was exceptional. There was not one thing you had to think about. Highly recommend eating out in town, especially lotus eaters for a night ( make the reservations on your own and ahead of time). I dream about my view from my balcony and definitely get the massage!

If you are looking for an escape that defines true luxury, care, and flawless attention to detail, the Six Senses Spa at Elounda Peninsula is an absolute must. The spa was just reopening for the season, which meant it was incredibly quiet. Being the only guest there made for an exceptionally exclusive and profoundly tranquil experience. The entire environment exudes peace, but what truly sets it apart is the extraordinary level of service. The staff treats you with genuine care, ensuring every detail of your comfort is meticulously managed. I highly recommend the Sense of Greece spa package. It is 2.5 hours of pure, uninterrupted pampering and worth every single minute. My therapist, Maria, is a true professional. Her technique was impeccable, and she tailored the treatment perfectly to ensure maximum relaxation. This was time incredibly well spent. If you are staying in the area, do not miss the opportunity to book a treatment here.

This Hotel is marketed as a high-end luxury resort but the reality was nowhere near that standard. Service was slow, disorganised, and often unfriendly. We received no proper introduction on arrival and had to figure out the large property ourselves. Communication was extremely poor. Golf carts regularly took 10–20 minutes, room service water took over 40 minutes and three phone calls, and we waited 30 minutes in the sun with small children for a boat transfer that was not even running. For this price point, the constant extra charges are unacceptable: €45 for spa access, kids’ club charged by the hour, and very few basic family conveniences included. The hotel is also completely unsuitable for small children, with long walking distances, many stairs, breakfast only from 7:30 am, and dinner only from 7 pm. When we asked the manager whether anything could be arranged for our children to eat earlier, the answer was simply no. The beach setup was especially disappointing, with sunbeds seemingly reserved for selected guests, leaving families with small children in unsuitable spots in direct sun. Our room was nice, but one bathroom had a horrible smell. We complained, nothing was done, and we could only use one bathroom during the stay. The Italian restaurant was good and the yoga teacher was lovely, but that does not make up for the overall experience. This is not true luxury hospitality. It felt overpriced, poorly managed, and deeply disappointing. We even tried to leave early and were offered no refund. At checkout, we received a large additional bill and not even a proper goodbye. Based on our experience, the hotel’s reputation and social media image are completely misleading. We witnessed influencers being treated differently and also heard other guests complain at reception.

We had been to the chenia a few years ago and wanted to explore the east part of create. The hotel is older but well kept up mostly, the Staff are lovely but sometimes seemed understaffed and overwhelmed(dinning areas). The beach is beautiful and crystal clear but sometimes gets a bunch of micro/not so micro plastics. We never were offered a tour of the resort we had to figure it out, and the restaurants got booked and we weren't informed to book early, which was accommodated after much argument. Our biggest issues was the izreal flag flown at the entrance, we met Russians(whose flag they had removed by the hotel), Lebanese, ourselves from Saudi Arabia, where are our flags? The receptions staff told us the hotel is "neutral" in regards to the flags. Honestly,I regret spending every euro at this hotel. You want to promote genocidal states don't expect good publicity.
