We've been here 4 years in a row so we're obviously fans. The transfer to the hotel can be long (90 mins) as we're often the final drop off. Sometimes it's a blessing as kids nap on coach and therefore can get through to dinner without falling apart. The food is good, and well presented. As a vegetarian I'd love if they offered some protein dish (tofu) as I ended up eating chickpeas everyday. The beds in Magnus family room are ok. The smaller kids bed often falls apart a bit and needed fixing a few times. This year we stayed up late to see entertainment. Atlantis were a must watch, they do gymnastics, like a mini cirque du Soleil. Other families were overall very friendly. People with kids just wanting a nice break. Not the hotel's fault but I do wish parents would educate their kids on appropriate food portions, so much food looked like it goes to waste. The local beach is beautiful.

Good experience, hotel perfect for children. Food was tasty and different everyday. We book the Italian restaurant and the food was very nice. Room was clean. Recepcion staff were friendly and room was available at 3pm. Animation team work hard to keep everyone entertained and there different shows every evening... There is a bus from the hotel that takes you to the beach and brings you back to the hotel. Was good holiday, if you have a kids this hotel it's perfect for them... Diogo was very nice to speak...

Stayed a week on the magnus side with my wife and 2 kids last week, absolutely loved our stay here, the food was top notch and catered for everyone, if you go hungry there is something wrong. Range of drinks was fantastic, and you even had beer and wine on tap. The staff were extremely hardworking and friendly. Would like to give a mention to Julian and Lorenzo, so friendly and a credit to your hotel. Our beds were made every day and towels replaced daily. We would definitely return, and hopefully soon.

Location: The area was nice, especially the walk to the boulevard. The mountains surrounding the hotel were beautiful to look at and really added to the experience. Room: The room was basic, but some things were disappointing. For example, the hair dryer was not working, and the yellow curtains looked like they had been there for years. It even felt like someone had smoked in the room before. Cleanliness: This was probably our biggest frustration. The room was not cleaned properly during our stay. We had the impression that only the towels and bed sheets were changed, while things like cleaning the floor and bathroom were often skipped, maybe because the cleaning staff were short on time. We had a lot of ants in the bathroom. They seemed to come from behind the water tap, where they would hide and then return several times a day. The bathroom floor was constantly covered with ants. We also found a cockroach on our first day. These are not things you want to see, especially when travelling with a baby. Another issue was the baby chairs in the restaurant. They were often dirty from previous babies and did not seem to be cleaned properly before the restaurant opened. Staff: The staff were very friendly. My son was always smiling and laughing with Cecilia, a lovely lady who really deserves credit for her kindness and attention. Food and Drinks: The food and drinks were good, and we have no complaints about the quality. There was a lot of fried food, which is not ideal for someone with Crohn’s disease like me, but I cannot blame the hotel for that. Pool and Facilities: The pool was good and spacious, although it was often very crowded. Sometimes it had to be closed because children had accidents in the pool. These things can happen and it is not the hotel’s fault. Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi was a disaster. I would rate it 1/10. When it did work, it was extremely slow and unreliable. Value for Money: When I think about the overall experience, I would say yes, it was still good value for money. However, I hope the hotel reads this review and takes the feedback seriously to improve these points. Atmosphere: The atmosphere was very good. Most guests were friendly and pleasant. Of course, there are always some less friendly people, but you find that everywhere you go. Review score: 4/5. A 3 would be harsh score because we really had a good time, took a lot of pictures and had a good vacation the first time with our baby. I only hope they really look at the 'critics' so someone else isn't bothered by it. Thank you and have a nice summer.

We stayed here for a week last week as a family of 5 (2A 3C 12, 10, 9) Hotels nice, foods nice - standard all inclusive but plenty of options. Fergus side is absolutely rammed and we went during term time. I’d definitely recommend going for the Magnus side as that was a bit quieter and no queue for the bar! Rooms are definitely not suites, it’s a bedroom, bathroom and living room. Not big enough for five people in my opinion. Magnus featured a ‘fully stocked mini bar’ - this was two cans of coke, two cartons of juice and a bottle of water. Had to ask for the bathrobes and slippers that said they were provided. States PS5 in room, was a PS3. The games room is brilliant for the kids. Evening entertainment isn’t great, not enough seating for all the guests. AVOID the Italian, was absolutely awful. Was a tiny buffet with not a lot of options, we ended up leaving and going to the main buffet. Staff are lovely but I definitely wouldn’t say this is a 4* hotel. Not much to do round the area, few shops and the beach ten mins away but that’s it. Taxis are expensive. I enjoyed our time away but wouldn’t return here.
