Listen, this is a low cost place so overall I was pretty surprised, pleasantly. Food - very good in the Magnus restaurant. Range of drinks really nice, again worth upgrading to Magnus to experience better. Restaurant staff really really nice. Some pedantic rules about moving tables but they were doing their job and doing it well. One senior manager man was so kind to us when we needed first aid. Pools - decent and well kept Value for money very good. A really enjoyable few days. Some rowdy folk in the main bar but harmless. Children’s entertainment was pretty naff compared to other places. However, reception staff quite rude (no explanation of anything at check in eg timings for breakfast, how to find rooms, how to hire towels… didn’t even wish us a comfortable stay or say goodbye) and room was not turned around once during our stay. I literally had to call twice to ask and it wasn’t done. The sheets and towels were clean on arrival but the sofas in the room and itchy and disgusting. I’m convinced they caused my son’s bites.

What an amazing holiday we have just had here. Honestly the entire staffing team made our week. As a parent with an incurable cancer this hotel went over and above to make our holiday extra special. My daughter who's 8 years old will have a lifetime of memories thanks to the compassion and kindness showed to us by everyone we encountered. There's plenty to do, the food was delicious, the drinks were lovely, the bus service to the beach was perfect. The candy floss machine and popcorn machines are brilliant!! There's 3 pools when you stay in the Magnus suites. 2 if you stay on the other side, all of which were fantastic. On arrival we were upgraded to a lovely room in the Magnus area from what we had originally booked. The rooms are spacious and well managed, I loved the bath robe and slippers, as well as the playstation and complimentary mini bar. The double shower was a great feature. I was totally blown away. That said though, the other rooms are still well maintained and lovely this was just an extra perk. The entertainment was brilliant for children my daughter had the best time. Even without all of that this location and hotel is fabulous, particularly for families. I wish we could have stayed forever!! And I genuinely hope I'm well enough, for long enough to be able to visit again. Thank you so much for everything, we will be eternally grateful for everything you have done.

Edit: some of the below has started to improve since speaking with the manager Diego. (He was very friendly and understanding). I will update this review after my vacation is over. Im here right now. 4th June 2026. I challenge the management to address my issues... Day 3 of a 10 night vacation. 30 minute queue at the bar to get a drink. Every single time. All inclusive ends at 11pm (which is fine). But they cut the lights and music at 10.30pm to force us to bed. They are LITERALLY ENCOURAGING US TO GOTO BED. They are clearly running the place on cost cutting measures... 3 pools, EVERY Sun lounger, all fully reserved by 7am. EVERY SINGLE bed had a towel on it. Hotel staff and jet2 reps dont care or take action. More rooms than sun loungers. Always booked above capacity. The false magnus upgrade - pay more to have an exclusive area of fully reserved sun beds. Pay more to have cold food in a different building. Pay more for the same as the fergus side... Food cold and stale. I watch as they bring out a fresh pan of beans. Immediately cold. Burgers taste worse than a microwave rustlers. Totally unacceptable for a £2400 holiday.

Came here with my partner and our 2 year old. We had the most amazing time. The food is exceptional with a lot of variety. The chicken kebabs were a personal favourite. The facilities were fantastic for kids, they have an extensive programme to get involved in and there’s loads to do around the area. I loved the trails around the hotel for running as there were loads and the views were spectacular. The staff were extremely helpful and amazing with our daughter always making time to engage with her (especially Carlos and Diogo). We would 100% come back.

Room is very basic. Just one thin sheet, woke up cold despite already turning air con off. Check in around midnight was painfully slow. Dark path to the room and had to rely on mobile phone to see. Staff are very nice especially staff n the dining room who greeted us with a smile. Only been here a day but so far so good for breakfast and lunch. Pool area perfect for families. Grounds are well kept.
