I did not stay at this hotel but I am leaving a review for others to be aware. My best friend had a wedding here and the resort was beautiful and the wedding was stunning and the staff that assisted with the wedding was amazing and efficient. However, my friend had to pay for this wedding and every person that attended but because my husband and I did not stay onsite we had to pay an additional $100 each for a day pass to attend the wedding. This just seemed money hungry and tacky to me for the “luxury” hotel they claim to be. I paid the ridiculous fee and then they could not assure me that I would be allowed in for the ceremony at 3pm because this specific day pass didn’t allow guests to enter until 5pm but they’d give me a courtesy of entering at 4pm. This was very confusing and there was clearly such a lack of communication, and I had even gone a day early to clarify everything and they said I would have to keep up with the bride to find out these details which seemed absurd to me as she already had so much to deal with to keep track of the time one of her guests will be allowed into the resort. The wedding was shut down at 9pm strictly and idk if he was the manager but someone came and didn’t even allow 1more song to be played even though there was another wedding just down the way from us. We all had plans to visit a night club that night so we went to change and when we returned to resort there was some issue with someone from our party paying for transportation and that transportation never being given idk the complete story but the security woman was literally screaming and the brides sister when the bride sister was clearly frustrated that they had been scammed. I think the situation could have been handled more professionally instead of arguing back with your guests. We tried to go have a drink after this entire mess they created with the bridal party but instead they kicked my husband and I off property at 1115pm because the day pass had ended at 11pm… so they wasted our time and could allow us not 1 more minute to make up that lost time. The security checkpoint will have you waiting for 10min before you’re allowed into the property again due to lack of communication between staff members. Based off this crazy experience I wouldn’t bring my money here because they clearly only care about your money and not your experience.

We chose this resort for our vacation. The Resort truly went above and beyond to make our stay and overall experience exceptional. From the service to the attention to detail, everything was absolutely wonderful, and we will definitely be coming back soon! We would especially like to thank three incredible people who made our trip even more memorable: Karina from Guest Experience, Javier Guest relations Manager, Chef Emanuel, and Chef Lucas. They were all spectacular, so caring, thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making us feel welcomed and appreciated. Their kindness and professionalism did not go unnoticed, and we are so grateful for everything they did for our family. Thank you again for such an amazing vacation experience!

We were at the resort for our son and DIL's wedding, and we had the absolute best time!! We were there for a week, and Finest was able to accommodate all of their wedding guests/families. There are so many people to acknowledge, but sadly I didn't get everyone's names. We can start out with the wedding coordinator, Sergio, who did a fantastic job of which our son & DIL were extremely pleased with. The wedding was seamless and beautiful, as well as, all of the other activities associated with it. Thank you Sergio!! All of the staff at Finest were very kind, helpful, and efficient, but here's a few I wanted to highlight for their extra care: Margarito - breakfast server Geraldine - yoga instructor Alberto - server at Surf N' Turf Fernanda - Pilates instructor Lucerita - server on the beach Front desk staff & cleaning staff My family and I would definitely stay here again, and we just want to thank everyone at Finest Playa Mujeres for making our stay unforgettable and for ensuring our son & DIL had a beautiful wedding!!

We recently stayed at Finest Playa Mujeres and overall had a pleasant experience. The resort is beautiful, well-maintained, and the staff were excellent. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay enjoyable. The service throughout the resort was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Our children really enjoyed the water park and were excited to spend time there each day. However, there were quite a few bees buzzing around the area, and we also noticed dead bugs in parts of the water. Unfortunately, this made our kids nervous and hesitant to play, which took away from what should have been one of the best parts of the trip for them. We visited during the NBA Finals and were excited to watch the Knicks game, but there was no audio available during the broadcast. For such a major sporting event, this was disappointing and made it difficult to fully enjoy the game atmosphere. We were also expecting more variety when it came to food. While the quality was decent, the dining options felt somewhat limited, and after a few days the choices became repetitive. Overall, Finest Playa Mujeres has beautiful grounds, outstanding staff, and a fun water park for families. The excellent service is what stands out most. However, improvements to food variety, water park maintenance, and accommodations for major sporting events would make the experience even better.

We came here for our anniversary and we overall had a very wonderful time. We knew it was going to be a family friendly resort, because we have stayed at family friendly resorts before, but there was way more kids than we anticipated. But that was on us since we knew it was fam friendly. The service was wonderful and all the staff is so hospitable and friendly. Our room was located in building 1 on ground level, we had a private pool which was cool but the room was located by the staff closet and ice room, so it was very noisy early in the mornings & made it challenging to sleep. You can hear people talking just down the hall from within the room. Most of the jacuzzis were not working which was a bummer. There is a lot of entertainment which is awesome! Karaoke night, DJ party, and shows. If you’re going here as a couple with no kids, I would only recommend staying in the excellence building which is for adults. But it’s definitely wonderful for families!
