Jose, along with both Miguels and Liberato, made our time outstanding at the Flamboyán Pool Bar during our week at the hotel. They took incredible care of us every single day and truly made our pool days what they were. Always friendly, attentive, and genuinely fun to be around, we looked forward to seeing them daily and couldn’t recommend them more. The entertainment team was also a huge highlight. Eder was absolutely hilarious and had an amazing way of bringing everyone together and keeping the energy high. Jonathan was a great karaoke host and kept things fun and lively all night. Thank you to the entire team. Everyone we crossed paths with was fantastic and helped make our stay extra special. ❤️

To me this would have been a 5 star vacation until this happened the last few days. The food was mediocre but can get past that. My child paid with his own money to paint a sculpture at the pool for a momento from the vacation and once it was done the lady said she had to take it home and dip it in stuff to make shiny and would return the next day to the front desk for pickup. Sounded like this was the normal way it worked... Fair enough I guess. Well this didn't happen. And again the next day not available. The front desk never seemed to think anything like this was ever dropped off there. Probably wasted like 90 minutes on trying to track this down. They said something about offering up a refund after 7 days but we are already home now. They could have done something to make it right at the time and maybe this wouldn't happen. Definitely unacceptable that they allow people like this to work on their property. But if you are there maybe pay for the items once they are ready and received but they won't go for that I'm sure. I understand there's lots of scams at these resorts and we learned a few that are offered up here like the free shopping tour to playa del carmen (don't take it). But anyways to scam a child out of money and a keepsake from the trip is pretty low. So this kinda swapped me from being willing to recommend this place to friends and relatives and planning my next trip here already to telling everyone to stay away and go somewhere else.

Over all a great experience. The a la cartes we booked, the Goremet was good , the Japanese was good, the Italian was Fantastic!!! After reading the reviews of others I checked in early on line and booked our a la cartes before we got there which saved so much headache, however, if you want the Tenedorie experience at the Japonese restaurant (The “production “ dinner with the personal chef) I think you have to book at the hotel when you get there. Yes the Coba is not on the beach but it’s not horrible to take the golf cart shuttle. The typical Grand Bahia village (Hacienda) is also a distance and we waited a long time for a returning shuttle. There could be a couple extra shuttles for faster service to the beach and hacienda from the farther resorts. Our favourite meal was the Italian a la carte Adrian and Daniel were fantastic. The resort was clean, the food and drinks were good. Miguel at the swim up bar did a great job considering he was by himself. He could use an extra person to help so anyone there please be considerate. Going to check out the Spa on our last day, will update the post to let everyone know what that was like. All of the construction that I read about must have finished on time as it is done now. I have not been disappointed at all. This is our 4th time in a Grand Bahia, 1st time in Mexico (once in Punta Cana and twice in Jamaica ) and it compares well.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Bahía Príncipe Grand Coba! So much of that was thanks to the amazing service from the buffet staff and swim-up bar team. Every day we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine friendliness wherever we went. The buffet staff were always attentive, constantly refilling drinks and making sure our table was looked after, and they made us feel welcome at every meal. Miguel sent us home with a special handmade gift the day we left. At the swim-up bar, the servers were fantastic! They were friendly, upbeat, and always remembered our drink orders. They made sure we had what we wanted before we even had to ask. Their cheerful service truly enhanced our pool days and kept us coming back again and again. A big thanks to our Miguel Cupul, Miguel Torrez, Jose Severiono and Luis Fernely you were the best and hope to see you again next year!
Travel, Food And more food
I spent a wonderful week at this hotel and can definitely recommend it. Delicious and varied food, lots of activities during the day, huge green grounds that create a wonderful atmosphere, and very friendly and helpful staff. As for the downsides, there is definitely noise in the evening. Unfortunately, a lot depends on where your room is located. Parties in the main courtyard last until almost midnight, so I had to sleep with earplugs or headphones in my ears the whole trip because it was very, very loud. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the gym also works very poorly, so after 5 minutes on the treadmill, I looked like I had just come out of the pool. Anyway, I highly recommend this hotel, I will probably come back here, but I will definitely ask for a different room ;)
