We had a wonderful experience. The new Asana Indian cuisine was hands down the best meal ever had at Playacar! The flavours were amazing! The food, experience, and service at IL Piemonte was our absolute favourite. The Italian food was so delicious all the courses were sooo good! We even had a table side song with an incredibly talented man. The only short fall was that you needed to scan a QR code for a menu and we had only brought one phone for 4 of us to use. Would love a printed menu but otherwise an exceptional experience!

Karen and Mariano Bisente from the Gourmet royal elite breakfast staff were incredible. 5 stars for their service every day we had breakfast. They were very personable and responded to all our requests. The service was fast and perfect! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. I put 3 stars for the rooms because our room hacienda 6407 was missing one towel hanger, the sinks both leaked around them and the hair dryer was not working. Otherwise beautiful facilities. We loved our time here.

This resort was a great experience, the rooms my only issue was during peak times the water pressure and temperature was very poor. And the lighting in the stairwells were off at night making it difficult to navigate. The food has been delicious, we got a chance to sit at the Indian restaurant and Gloria was our server. She took care of us wonderfully and the chef came and greeted us at the end to ensure a great experience. Would recommend this restaurant.

I can't recommend this hotel enough. Our room was spacious, clean and had all the facilities we needed. The food was lovely with so many choices at the buffet and included restaurants. The activities were really good too, and Laura offered lots of fun games for everyone of all ages to get involved in. The evening entertainment was also great too. We loved Sandos and our trip to Mexico!

I had breakfast at Gaucho and our server Luna was amazing. The service she provided was superb and the food was decent. I don't usually do a full review based on a single service but she made our breakfast amazing. She was funny, attentive and on top of it without being annoying. As a whole the resort is good. Is it great? No, but they don't claim to be a 5 star luxury resort either. You can find luxury accommodations in the Platinum tower but for the most part the resort is a solid 4. You will get lost the first day or so because it is so huge but you'll quickly get your bearings. Give it a try, it's worth a week to enjoy one of the best beaches in Playacar.
