Quality hotel, food-the best I have had at an all inclusive. Friendly attentive staff good amenities. Only moan was the shower in my room would occasionally go freezing cold then boiling hot. Beach is great, picturesque, calm to swim around with the kids. Highly recommend

Absolutely amazing resort and an unforgettable stay! We stayed here for our honeymoon and felt truly spoiled from the moment we arrived. The hotel even surprised us with champagne and sweet treats in our room, which made the experience feel extra special and memorable. The location was perfect, with a beautiful private beach and plenty of fun activities during the day, plus live music on some evenings which created such a great atmosphere. The staff were exceptional! Professional, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed. I also really appreciated how accommodating they were with my gluten and nut allergies, which made dining stress-free throughout our stay. The à la carte restaurants were fantastic, and the buffet restaurant offered a huge variety for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I would also highly recommend downloading the resort app - it made everything so convenient, from booking à la carte reservations and viewing daily activities to checking the hotel map and requesting extra services like room cleaning or fresh towels. Overall, a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend staying here, especially for a special occasion!

My husband and I stayed at Grecotel Daphnila Bay for 10 nights with our two small children. I want to start with the huge positives, firstly the service was amazing. Almost every single staff member was incredibly friendly, kind and always happy to help. We mentioned we felt that the front door was slightly insecure and easy for our three year old to get out, and within an hour of checking in the team had fitted an additional lock for us (thank you so much). The food at both the buffet restaurant, beach bar and the a la carte restaurants was really lovely. There was enough variety to keep us all interested and the quality of the fresh produce in particular was great. The beach is beautiful, brilliant for children and there were always sun loungers available. Similarly sun loungers at the pool were always available and there was never a sense of a need to rush and reserve anything in advance. Our only criticism is that the room was a little outdated compared with the rest of the site. We were in one of the family bungalows which is split into two rooms. The room was very much functional, but just felt tired compared with the communal areas. The key points would be the bathroom was a bit worn out (e.g. paint in the bathtub, sinks were slightly wobbly, fittings not in line and all a little haphazard), the mattress in the main bedroom was too firm and we also noticed some of the sockets were coming off the wall in the main bedroom when removing plugs which does present a health and safety risk. If I was being super picky I'd also note that the safety chains added to the patio doors onto the terrace can very easily be opened from outside which detracts from their purpose - particularly as the cleaners left the doors open with the safety chains in place to help air out the room after cleaning. Despite the criticism above this didn't detract from our holiday, but I would perhaps say the room felt functional rather than a luxurious escape. We had a really lovely time, the resort was well maintained, beautiful to be in and it truly felt like a lovely break away from home.

I stayed with my mum at Grecotel Daphnila Bay for five nights and it was a beautiful and very relaxing stay. As many of the reviews state, the quality of the staff is fantastic. A special mention to Angelika, who although is a new member of staff, displayed such professionalism and eagerness that it was almost a shock she was only there for a week. The waiters and waitresses are very attentive and polite across all parts of the property. We used the buffet most nights due to the wide range of options. We really appreciated the local dishes and fresh salads. We did manage to get one reservation at the Italian restaurant which was a great experience. Remember to book these in advance. Also - crepes and ice cream at the beach! Great addition. The options of bars were also fabulous - the cocktail menu was extensive, the options of beers were good, and you could be served at the table or queue at the bar which we appreciated. We spent most of our time by the beach as the view was incredible. There is also an option to have lunch there so you do not have to make your way up the hill (the golf buggies are a massive asset to people with limited mobility and children!). The room itself was fine - as we didn’t spend a lot of time here small issues didn’t bother us but in comparison to the rest of the property it would be great to modernise these a bit. Overall our stay was great and we could easily rate this 5/5 - thank you to the staff who really made the experience great.

We are a couple with no kids and we are currently staying at this hotel. This is a family friendly hotel with very attractive prices for guests with kids, which means that the hotel looks like a big kindergarten. It looks like 80% of guests are families with more than 1 kid. For couples like us this can be overwhelming, especially if you, like us, fail to do proper due diligence and do not expect to see that many kids. The hotel does their best to keep things under control (for example, they have a kids club where children can play from 10 to 18 free of charge, and they show animated films in the open air cinema in the evening), but obviously they can't prevent kids from being kids. Be prepared that children will be running around tables or sunbeds, screaming all the time. If you prefer calmer and more relaxed atmosphere, consider booking another hotel. To be fair, the hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as it could be, given the circumstances (special mention to Lisa who personally checked what she can do to improve then situation). The food is good, the service is amazing, the staff is very welcoming, and the outside area is lush green and well maintained.
