Enjoyed our stay. Rooms are minimalistic and extremely clean with beautiful views of pool & beach. Breakfast was always good and had a broad variety - the staff at breakfast were friendly and attentive. Pool was amazing (especially with beach view) but the drink / food service at the pool was almost non existent- which was really disappointing. All in all a really lovely stay and location but it felt like a 4 star experience. If you are looking for 5 star service or that luxury feel this isn't the place.

First time to Koh Samui and staying at Hansar. Truly enjoy the good location and big comfortable room (we stay in the sea view XL suite). The resort is truly located just next to the beach and there are many places within the resort to just chill and relax. Breakfast is good with sufficient choice. The mango sticky rice, French toast station is a good choice. Complimentary bottled water is given throughout (no limit) or can get from the lobby. The location is convenient yet not too near to the crowded streets. Strongly recommend the stay here. The actual experience is better than what the photos can capture. Only minor grip is the spa at the hotel which has a beautiful environment but in terms of the quality of message, it’s rather average.

I stayed here and checked out early after 1 night. Its more like a 4 star than 5 star hotel. So compare it to 4 star places / prices. The hotel is centrally located but also on a small lot so it does feel cramped. If your priority is being close to the night market and central area this might not be an issue. I did find the room to have a musty smell & be kind of dingy even though it looks good in the pictures. They get you to download an app to text with the front desk. In my experience response times were as long as 1 hour for a simple question. Again not 5 star level service as they market themselves as.

The hotel was very nice, with a pleasant pool and great proximity to the beach and Fisherman’s Village — perfect for an evening walk. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but be aware there are no elevators, so staying on a higher floor means quite a bit of walking and stairs each time. We also heard an annoying dripping sound at night from our top-floor room, which disturbed our sleep and raised some concern about possible moisture. The food wasn’t great, but it was decent enough.

The best resort in Koh samui. Great & large rooms. Big, comfortable, good design and super clean. The service is amazing. The stuff is so polite and doing anything that they can to make you staying happy and lovely. The location is on start of the fishing market, good restaurants and stores around. The beach bar in the hotel is good (but we recommend to go into the restaurant of the fishermen market). The spa in the hotel - 10/10. Really luxury and professional.
