We had a lovely 10 days in Mauritius spending half our time at heritage le telfair and half at lux le morne. Heritage le telfair was our overall favourite, the rooms are beautiful and spacious, the service was outstanding (such a great system having someone personally looking after you who can book all of your excursions, dinner reservations, spa treatments, room service just with a simple WhatsApp). We had our 18 month old daughter and the crèche was amazing, so clean and staff are lovely with a little kiddies pool and 2 cot rooms for naps. We enjoyed a very peaceful few hrs each morning whilst she was enjoying the crèche which is unusual at most resorts for her age. 3 separate pools are all lovely and you could easily spend a long time here with lots on offer. The beach wasn’t as nice as the beach at least morne, but still calm and swimable. And the food could be better at most restaurants especially Annabelle’s, although great for children. The chateau was our favourite, delicious and very special. Overall we had a really lovely time and the service and childcare won us over. Spa also excellent. We hope to be back again with 2 children next year!

This was our second stay at Heritage Le Telfair over Christmas and New Year, and once again it was something very special. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our Resident Host Melvin, who took exceptional care of us throughout the entire stay. He even surprised us with a massage voucher and a candlelight dinner. His dedication and availability – even beyond working hours – were truly outstanding. At Palmier we met Spicy, who was always friendly, attentive, and seemed to appear exactly where we were. She genuinely made our stay even more enjoyable. The festive Alive program was diverse and beautifully organized, with special themed evenings and a wonderful atmosphere across the resort. Among the restaurants, Annabella’s impressed us with beautifully arranged outdoor buffets. Palmier was consistently good, although food was occasionally not served hot enough. At Ginja, sushi quality was excellent, though service varied slightly. After sharing feedback with Melvin, the restaurant manager invited us for lunch, which was outstanding and very much appreciated. Château de Bel Ombre was exceptional – food, service, and ambiance were all at the highest level. A special thank you goes to Ze Paul and Solomon in the adults-only beach area. Even when it was busy, they had everything under control. Their friendliness, professionalism, and dedication were remarkable. On their days off, the difference was noticeable – which says a lot about their performance. One unforgettable highlight was a private dinner on the tee box at La Réserve Golf Course. The chefs and the service team, especially Danish and Michael, were world-class and made the evening truly special. We mainly came for golf, and both courses are outstanding. A big compliment also to the Caddymaster at Le Château (name sounded like “Smosh”), who did a fantastic job ensuring a smooth and enjoyable round. One small personal remark: we found the beds slightly firm, but this is of course subjective. Overall, despite a few minor points, Heritage Le Telfair remains a clear recommendation for us. The people, the atmosphere, and the golf experience make this resort truly special. We will return next christmas.

Stayed at Le Telfair for two weeks in a deluxe sea view suite within the adult area of the resort. Opted for the all inclusive Gourmet Bliss Package, which is highly recommended. Accommodation was excellent, spacious, quiet and very clean, and within a stones throw of the heated pool and beach. Very good selection of restaurants to choose from, all serve excellent food, cocktails and a good selection of wines. Restaurant booking system runs very well, Emily did a great job, she was never phased by our restaurant booking changes 👍 Even though the resort is relatively large, it never appeared to be busy, seating areas and sun loungers are plentiful 👍 Sun lounger food and beverage ring service is great. All resort staff are excellent, polite, approachable and eager to please. They have a belonging and commitment to the resort. So many stand out people work there, all took great care of us during our stay. Our go to liaison guy was Noor, who took exceptional care of us during our stay. He made everything perfect 👏👏 Good gym and water sport facilities, which were never too busy 👍 Two great golf courses, Le Chateau and La Reserve, both courses are excellently maintained. Easy transportation to/from golf is very timely and well managed. Golf back room staff great, and tee times very well managed 🏌🏻‍♂️ Nightly entertainment is provided in the Cavendish bar, along with a great selection of cocktails and other drinks 🥂 Constructive comment, entertainment could be more livelier especially after nine in the late evening. Overall a fantastic resort in all aspects, highly recommended 👍 Well done all 👏👏👏👏😎

Stayed for seven nights and we have enjoyed it from the moment we arrived to the time left. We were very sad to leave. Some of the bars and restaurant still do require trainings however these were often overlooked as their hospitality and friendliness outweigh the problem and they do deal with it without any problem. The room attendant Mininka (room 1101) was very attentive. Many of the restaurant staff did excel like Parvin and Eliza. Jason our personal concierge had arranged a nice surprise table to post celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. A beautiful choc cake and gift were given too. Valerie if the reception was exceptional and ofcourse a big thank you to the Hotel Manager (sorry I did not get her name) as she had allowed us to stay in our room for late check out during our last day. For the golfers, La Reserve is just an amazing very well designed and immaculately kept course. It reminds of Dornoch and castle stuart and perhaps even better. I love every minute we had at le telfair. British airways got some brownie points from us for recommending this hotel.

Staying here was like visiting Paradise! We had a fabulous suite which had direct access to the beach and the ocean - it was just glorious. Every member of staff we came into contact with greeted us with a smile - Anita and her team kept our room spick and span and Ashni went out of her way to make our stay as enjoyable and as easy as possible - she even came in on her day off so that she could be there to welcome other family members who arrived a few days after we did. My only regret is that we couldn't stay for longer - this time!
