Very disappointing. Despite traveling during high season, the many positive reviews, and the high price (approx. CHF 3,000 for one week in half board), we genuinely thought we had made the right choice. Unfortunately, we were wrong. From the moment we arrived, the lack of organization was obvious: too few elevators (one out of service for several days), leading to long waiting times. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed standard. The spa is far from what was promised: cold pools, several facilities out of order, a poorly functioning hammam, and no real control of reservations. The room is not worthy of a 4-star hotel: unpleasant smell upon arrival, poor cleanliness, damaged bathroom, sloppy finishes, and clearly neglected maintenance. The bedding is acceptable, but the rooms are small and absolutely not worth the price. The food is disappointing: very basic breakfast, and a tasteless, unremarkable dinner. 👉 Price completely unjustified 👉 Services far below expectations 👉 Not at all worthy of a 4-star hotel We will not return and absolutely do not recommend this establishment.

Even if you book a double room, they give you two separate beds and say the hotel is full. This isn't my problem, is it? They're not keeping their promise. When I asked at reception, they said this is the only one we have.

This was our fifth stay at the HL Suite Hotel, and I think it's the last. I have to say that the quality of the accommodations declines significantly year after year. The double bed has two separate mattresses, which have long since lost their firmness. They separate from each other, creating a huge hole in the middle of the bed. The bathroom ventilation was practically non-existent. The restaurant was very understaffed. We had to arrange our own cutlery and wait about 10-15 minutes for drinks. The bar prices were the height of extortion: 8-9 euros for a drink in a small paper cup.

I stayed her in August 2025, the staff are very friendly and the service was excellent, the rooms are decent, it is located near the main beach area and is a 15 minute walk from the Yumbo center. I would stay in this hotel again without hesitation, the lounge bar doesn’t open till 9 pm but the roof top bar is open and the views are great.

The services and staff are doing their job fine, there is no doubt but the hotel doesn’t deserve a 4 and half star AT ALL, the infrastructures are old it may have been a 4 and half stars like 10-15 years ago but nowaday i’d consider it a maybe 2-3star not more and that thanks to the staff doing a good job (in the restaurant and lobby) It feels like a ruins of a ancient good hotel. There was cockraches in my room which I find it UNACCEPTABLE for a 4 and half hotel !!!! I mean ok it’s not the end of the world but when I pay the price of a 4 and half hotel in a touristic location I expect a minimum of luxure. Ofcourse I didn’t mention it to the reception because it happened for the 2-3 first days and I decided to go over it but when I asked for a late check up and they just decided to refuse it completly without any arrangement that was it. They should rerate EVERY hotel in the canary island because there are a lot of them that doesn’t deserve their stars anymore because of how old they infrastructure is and the lack or luxure But the emplacement is right in front of the see I can give them that.
