Five night stay. Weather glorious, very hot. Hotel is more 3 star than 4. Air con in room almost non-existent. Room was tiny. We had a third bed in for our 10 year old and it was essentially a room with a three person bed in, with access on one side and the end. Balcony ok, good view over the bay and the town. We were on the 6th floor, you’re not seeing much on floors 1-3 - beware. Entertainment was not good; the day time team or the evening acts. There was half hearted things like “water olympics” (pool fitness) and archery twice a day, but the staff looked like they really couldn’t be bothered. Night time acts were quite poor. Food was very poor, usual holiday buffet fare but a lot of tinned produce and poorly executed. The pool bar burger meat quality is about the worst I have ever experienced. Wine at meals was decent and paid drink prices very reasonable. We went half board which meant we could fold in better food from some great local restaurants in the port and the old town (don’t miss it!). Location is fantastic and the beach is really good, just 5 minutes walk away. Hotel pool is decent and kids have a pretty good mini slide set-up. Getting sunbeds and shade wasn’t a problem, but I think that was mainly down to the hotel not being very busy with it being back end of UK half terms. No sunbed rules, so could get tasty when busy. Pre-breakfast bed towel reserve monkeys in full operation. Service was the usual European mixed bag - some great, a lot indifferent. Room cleaning was first class. Overall, pay 3 star rates, expect that level and get some decent food away from the hotel - this is a good option.

Had a week here and can't fault a thing. Room was tidy and refreshed daily. Hotels was spotless. I had booked b&b, breakfast choice was excellent, they literally have everything you can imagine for morning time. As a chef in hotels myself I have a keen eye and know what goes on behind the scenes. Keep up the excellent work and be very proud of your employees. Thanks again for a wonderful week at your lovely hotel.

Amazing value for money!! Very comfortable hotel with all amenities and close to the beach. The entertainment team was definitely a highlight, both for the kids and adults alike. The mini discos, quizzes and bingos were a great ending to our evenings. Big thanks to the team, especially Lucas, who was great with the little ones and made our stay all the more enjoyable. Will definitely be coming back!

A truly wonderful hotel and perfectly suited for cyclists 🚴‍♂️ It offers all the facilities needed for cyclists, including a fully equipped bike storage room, a bike rental and repair shop, as well as a café serving coffee and cycling-related products. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, with a stunning sea view 🌊 I would like to thank the reception team for their kindness and professionalism, especially Katy, Stef, and Miguel for their warm welcome and excellent service. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to the hotel management, especially Mr. Emmanuel, the Hotel Director, for personally welcoming us and ensuring all our needs were met. A great experience that I would definitely repeat 👍

First impression, the building didn’t look like the photograph, a sort of faded grey 80s Lego set. On walking in the lack of air conditioning hits you like a train. There were a few grills in the wall that if you placed your hand on them you could feel some cool air, like a desperate convict planning an escape. The hotel rooms were the same, a grim first impression. We thought we’d get some lunch. Walking into the dining area which is akin to a converted air craft hanger, the cacophony is off the scale. Masses of people are crammed in, you can’t have a conversation, you can’t hear or think. To make sure you’ve truly arrived in Hades the food is unholy. Everything tastes like it’s off or almost off or like something else entirely. I had some cauliflower that tasted like nothing I’ve ever tried and impossible to describe. The closest I can think of would be trying to eat polystyrene covered in a diabolical sauce. We ate out a lot but whilst there I lived on ice cream for 10 days, my son was sick all over the place, including the foyer in front of all the guests. They were unfazed, probably not their first visit. Going up to the room the design of the hotel became increasingly bizarre. There were pictures on the wall without pictures only the frames. Huge glass windows with no blinds, no air conditioning, nothing. Every time you went to your room you were blinded and fried at the same time. You can’t swing a cat in the rooms but that’s not your only problem. While showering, my 2 year old daughter merely touched the shower curtain and it fell down like a zeppelin. On closer inspection it wasn’t even fixed to the wall just wedged in. The shower was comedy gold, even funnier than the artwork on the wall. The wardrobes look like they were fitted using the cheapest materials possible materials, in a rush, around 1980. Even the floor number was held on with insulation tape. The electrics are a death trap as are the fruit juices and cocktails. Lord knows what was in them. Having said that, the beach was lovely, it’s a beautiful island and the hotel was packed so there must be some sort of mysterious appeal. As mystifying as the 4 star grading. I notice that the reviews all have an efficient rapid rebuttal system particularly to negative reviews. All part of the mystery. We won’t be returning.
