Our stay at Cordial Mogan Playa was genuinely unforgettable. The hotel feels like a botanical garden mixed with a luxury resort. The staff deserve special praise. Every single person we met was friendly, professional, and always smiling. From reception to housekeeping and restaurant staff, everyone made us feel welcome and cared for. The whole hotel is incredibly well maintained. The pool area is clean, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers. The food was also very enjoyable, with a good variety every day. And finally, the cats! One of the most charming parts of the hotel. The friendly cats wandering peacefully around the gardens made the place feel even more unique and warm. They were clearly well cared for. Cordial Mogan Playa is truly a special place, combining nature, comfort, excellent service, and a peaceful atmosphere.

The staff are amazing and what makes the hotel, every single person who works there is a credit to the hotel. The hotel itself is having a small identity crisis, its a bit like being in Morocco, a splash of Barbados, with a hint of spain and Greece and some Disney thrown in for good measure. We only had the breakfast which is not the best to be fair... I found the food to be very greasy and processed apart from the fresh fruit. Even the yogurt was full of colourings. I did notice that alot of Spanish people had bought their own supplies which says alot. Never had a problem getting a sunbed and the pool was lovely. The grounds are well looked after and as you walk down to the chapel, its very Barbadian. There is little to do in the area, so we spent most of it by the pool, the market is massive on a Friday but if your room happens to face that way be prepared to be woken up by 5am with the market traders. Drinks are expensive and so are ice creams. Theres two nice restaurants in the shopping precinct over from the hotel called N44 and Menor Mar, but the shopping precinct has seen better days and is shabby and run down, not very pleasant. If you want a super relaxing holiday by the pool with a visit to little Venice which is lovely and has one lovely shop and some.nice restaurants then I recommend.

This was our second stay here, and it definitely won't be our last! The hotel is always spotlessly clean, the food is lovely with plenty of choice, and all of the staff are so friendly and welcoming. As a single mum, I always feel safe and comfortable staying here, which means so much when travelling with my daughter. She absolutely loved the pool, and we never struggled to find a sunbed to relax on. The hotel is in a lovely, quiet area of Gran Canaria, just a short walk from the beautiful marina, which is perfect for an evening stroll. We had the most relaxing 11 days and made some amazing memories together. I wouldn't hesitate to come back for a third visit. Thank you for another fantastic holiday!

Awesome! Everything is perfect. The lobby has a great vibe, there is smooth new age music being played and you hear the soothing sound of water splashing in the river. Very relaxing! The rooms have capsule coffee makers and the AC is so good that you don't even need it running on full throttle all the time. There is a nice breeze coming in through the balcony doors. The food selections at the buffet are overwhelming and very tasty. Would be great to see even more veggie-options but there is lots do eat as it is. Staff is great and it is very clean. Can fully recommend!

This hotel is just beautiful as is Mogan. It's only a 10/15 mins walk to the harbor or Little Venice town. The local bus depot is 7 minute walk and you can get to Palmitos Park (amazing but take some drinks and food as it's ££££) and into Las Palmas €7 each way if you fancy some shopping, top high street brands, outstanding tapas, (I can wholly recommend Perro Verde, Travieso, 3, 35002 you'll see all the locals flocking here) and street cafe experience. My last day today 😢 so the (mainly) pros & few cons about the hotel, I hope they help The welcome is fantastic, lobby staff are 100% professional and can answer any query. I met dozens of people who have been coming here for over 20 years. The hotel is spotlessly clean throughout and the housekeeping staff are amazing My room was overlooking the botanical garden, fairly close to the main pedestrian walkway into Mogan but I was never disturbed by noise, even when sat in the balcony, very peaceful There are hairdryers, safe, fridge in the rooms The food is plentiful, beautifully presented and very good quality, such an amazing breakfast choice There are two sittings choices for dinner. I went for the earlier one, everything was fresh and they didn't run out of anything The pools are beautifully maintained, there is a family one and a quieter one with bars nearby. If you're on a late return flight (checkout is 12 noon) there is a brilliant courtesy room with showers, hairdryers, three twin bedrooms, fridge, microwave, towels even baby cribs, Things I wasn't keen on, but I'd definitely return.. *Queuing at the 3/4 hot food serveries in the evening. The sections are separated by ropes but you don't know what you're queuing for until you each the front, then you have to start again if it's not what you're re looking for. *The sunbeds are really sandwiched tight together, this is a 500 bed hotel so there's probably not a lot of wiggle room on that, as a solo traveller I like to have a little more space around me (not much space to move a bed around either). But that's a minor thing. . *La Fula bar near the main pool doesn't open until 12 (food served from 1pm) so stock up with snacks and drinks for your room from Dino supermarket up the road if you have (nibblers)kids with you. It's a fantastic base to relax, wander into Mogan or explore the Island (check out the harbourside fish restaurant at Aguinerguin). Plenty of regular, fairly priced boat trips from the harbour too.
