After a stressful situation with our hotel, I felt I had to leave this review. We were told it would be easy to arrange a taxi and that one had been booked for us, but unfortunately it never arrived. We were standing near the hotel with my son, who urgently needed to use the toilet, so I decided to ask if we could use the facilities. My first impression was “wow” — the hotel looks beautiful, elegant and clearly cares about making a great first impression. I asked a member of staff if my son could use the toilet, and without any hesitation or unnecessary questions, he immediately said it was absolutely fine. The bathroom was spotless and beautifully maintained. After waiting around 20 minutes, we realised we needed help with our situation, so we asked again. Once more, the staff were exceptional. Even though I wasn’t a guest staying at the hotel, they immediately helped us without any silly comments or making us feel uncomfortable. I would really like to thank the staff who were working around 3:30pm on Tuesday, 26th May. Unfortunately, we were stressed and in a rush at the time, so I didn’t leave a tip, but I can honestly say that next time this hotel will be my first choice. Even though I wasn’t a customer, they showed real class and kindness. I run a business myself and I understand how powerful reviews can be on the internet, so I wanted to leave this review because I wasn’t able to thank them properly at the time.

This is certainly one of, if not THE best hotel in Benidorm. Rooms were comfortable and cleaned daily, breakfast was excellent - amongst the best in any hotel I've stayed in worldwide. Staff were all friendly and helpful without exception. Communal areas are very tasteful and spotless. No reserving sunbeds rules are enforced too. I cannot pick a single fault with this hotel, sure it's clientele tend to be on the older side, that is not a bad thing, because elderly people appreciate quality, and this hotel is just that - Quality!

Top notch .Best Hotel in benidorm. Returned to our favourite hotel 🏩. For many years .food always Amazing great choice . Clean spotless throughout. STEPHEN. On sundeck Amazing. Helpful to all guest's never stopped working. Robert work's Hard too .Reception always. A warm welcome From Raymond. Great sense of humour. Sharleen great asset to the hotel 🏩 entertainment ect. Will be back in February. Just one minor 🤔 point think hotel 🏩 would be helpful for guest's. Warning signs as one enters pools .can be slippy Or non slip stripes. The Don Pancho in Benidorm really surprised me in the best way! I wasn’t expecting quite so much from the hotel, but it really exceeded my expectations. The entertainment was lively and well-organised, keeping the atmosphere fun throughout our stay, and the food was excellent. There was a huge variety on offer, so whether you’re after something light or something more indulgent, you’re well covered. It really made me appreciate the effort they put into catering for everyone. The housekeeping team did a great job too. The maid who looked after our room kept everything spotless, and it was clear she was doing her job properly and with care, which always makes a difference when you’re away from home. I also want to mention Anna, the security guard. I didn’t actually get the chance to meet her in person, but I was told her name and heard about the brilliant help she provided in rescuing some pictures we’d lost. That alone shows how the staff go the extra mile, even if you don’t interact with them directly. It’s nice to know there are people like that behind the scenes making sure things run smoothly. The only thing that let the experience down slightly was an incident at reception. One of the servers, Mari-Carmen, who insisted I take note of her name, accused me of bringing a drink in from an outside bar. She was positioned behind the reception desk when this happened, and it was quite bizarre—especially as the drink was actually purchased from the hotel bar and could easily have been checked on my account. I found the attitude a bit unnecessary, and it was frustrating at the time, but it didn’t spoil the rest of the stay. Everyone else we encountered was friendly, professional, and welcoming, which made it easy to overlook this one odd moment. It’s a shame, because it felt a little out of place in an otherwise great hotel experience. Overall, I was very pleasantly surprised by Don Pancho. From the food and entertainment to the housekeeping and the friendliness of almost all the staff, it really is a hotel that makes the effort to look after its guests. Even with the small hiccup at reception, I wouldn’t let that detract from what was an enjoyable and memorable stay. The hotel has plenty to offer and shows that the team genuinely cares about their guests, whether through keeping everything clean, ensuring fun activities are running, or even helping with things behind the scenes like Anna did. If you’re planning a stay in Benidorm and want a hotel with lots of choices, good entertainment, and staff who mostly go above and beyond, Don Pancho is a solid option. Just be aware that, occasionally, you might encounter someone like Mari-Carmen, but don’t let that put you off—the overall experience is more than worth it. I’d happily return and would recommend it to others looking for a fun, well-run hotel with a friendly atmosphere.

I love this hotel and everything about it. The staff are superb hosts and can't please me more. The food is superb in the comfortable restaurant. The rooms are perfect and they always do their best to get you the room you prefer. It's not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for.
