TL;DR: Awesome place, don’t hesitate, book it 😎 We spent a fantastic week here. I had some doubts when I was checking the reviews, but ignore those few bad comments — I really don’t understand those people. The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a few minutes’ walk from the old town and only a few steps from the sandy beach. The staff are exceptionally friendly, and I strongly recommend booking full board because the food is also fantastic. You have a wide range of dishes available throughout the day, including seafood, paella, pizza, a wide selection of fruit, and freshly grilled stuff. Honestly, we thought we might visit some restaurants, but the quality and variety — and the fact that you can choose whatever you want without waiting or booking, and even just taste something if you prefer — made visits to other restaurants simply unnecessary. The pool area is not overcrowded. You will always find sunbeds and shade available. Victor, Andres, Angela, Laura, and the rest of the animation team take care of your entertainment all day. Drinks are reasonably priced, and if you join the hotel’s guest programme, you also get a nice discount. For a small deposit, you get beach towels that you can change daily. For us, Corona del Mar is a 10/10. Strongly recommended, and we will definitely come again!

Great solid four stars. Sea view room is well worth the extra. Love listening to the waves. Big rooms and clean and fresh. UK tv channels very patchy and would like to have background music at the pool but otherwise very good. The pool attendant Victor is very attentive and keeps the pool in good order all day. He is a credit to the team.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING AND UNACCEPTABLE STAY We stayed at Corona Del Mar RH Hotels in Benidorm from 13th–18th August 2026, and unfortunately what was supposed to be a relaxing family holiday was completely ruined by the standard of the hotel, the poor service and, most seriously, a significant safety incident involving our 6-month-old daughter. During our stay, the bathroom door in our hotel room actually fell onto our 6-month-old daughter. This was an extremely frightening incident and completely unacceptable. We immediately reported what had happened to reception, expecting the situation to be taken seriously and resolved promptly. Instead, we were left extremely disappointed by the response from the hotel. No meaningful action was taken to properly resolve the situation or make things right for our family. To make matters worse, we were left WITHOUT A BATHROOM DOOR FOR THREE DAYS. Having a bathroom door fall onto a six-month-old baby is serious enough. To then be left for three days without a functioning bathroom door after reporting the incident is simply unacceptable. The service throughout the hotel was also very poor. The food was bland and disappointing, and the service from both the restaurant staff and reception was poor. The bar staff were the one exception — they were pleasant and helpful, but unfortunately this did not make up for the many other issues we experienced. We were also subjected to HORRENDOUS BUILDING WORKS directly outside the hotel throughout our stay. We had not been made aware of this before booking or before arriving. Had we known that we would be dealing with this level of noise and disruption, we would absolutely have chosen a different hotel. A family holiday is supposed to be a chance to relax, unwind and spend quality time together. Instead, we spent our holiday dealing with a serious safety incident involving our baby, inadequate response from the hotel, a bathroom without a door for three days, poor service, disappointing food and constant noise from building works that we had not been warned about. This was not the relaxing family holiday we had paid for. The experience was extremely stressful and the holiday was, quite frankly, ruined by the poor standard of the hotel and the way our concerns were handled. What makes the situation even more frustrating is that, DAYS after the incident, I am STILL waiting for an email response from the hotel regarding what happened. For a hotel to have a safety incident involving a six-month-old child reported to them and then fail to deal with it appropriately is deeply disappointing. I would strongly urge the management to seriously review how safety incidents, guest complaints and customer service are handled. Guests should not have to repeatedly chase a hotel for a response after something this serious has happened. Based on our experience, we would not return to this hotel.

3 stars is generous. These reviews are crazy. It's one of the most basic hotels I've ever stayed in. For our 'superior standard' we've got 2 tiny single beds, a small room with a balcony overlooking the road with plastic furniture. The bathroom has a shower over a bath and 1 basin. With all in one body wash/shampoo. The room itself has central air conditioning which is on or not on, no temperature control and the air vent is directed towards the window, so I've had to move my bed. There's a decidedly dodgy looking carpet throughout and the wallpaper is filthy. There's 2 bottles of water in the barely cold fridge and packets of freeze dried coffee with a kettle. Not even a coffee machine, never mind a welcome pack. The lifts barely fit 2 people, there was no offer of a bell boy. I'm truly struggling to understand the ratings. Fine, if you're paying for and expecting a premiere inn experience but definitely not 4 star.

The best hotel we have ever stayed in. We received a very warm welcome from the reception staff. A very spacious room with all the facilities you need. The entire hotel was spotless throughout. The restaurant had a varied variety all freshly prepared. A big thank you to the bar staff especially Ian and Diego. The entertainment was excellent with a special mention to David who made us smile everyday. We have already booked a return stay at the hotel.
