Hotel Exagon Park

We had a great holiday at Exagon Park. For us, the location was perfect, as it was in a quieter area, on the edge of the resort, surrounded by trees, but just a few minutes walk to the beach (the sea was so clear, and lovely to swim in!) and the main area with shops and cafes. The hotel grounds are quite large, so it was always possible to find sun loungers and some shade. The hotel was spotlessly clean, both in our room and in all of the communal areas. The upstairs bar area is spacious and light, with a good choice of drinks available, and table service. Food-wise, there was a wide variety of savoury options at every meal, with lots of lovely salads and vegetable dishes. I was disappointed to see one guest take some food with her hands rather than the very visible tongs, but what can you do (and certainly not the fault of the hotel). There was less of a choice of desserts, and given how good the savoury dishes were, it was a shame that the desserts did not appear to be homemade. I would have also liked to see the empty dishes being replenished more quickly. The rooftop outdoor eating area was wonderful, we loved eating lunch there every day. The staff in the restaurant worked extremely hard to keep the restaurant functioning efficiently but there were queues for some evening meals - while it's lovely to have your drinks order taken at the table, this did take staff away from clearing and re-laying tables for waiting guests. The staff were amazing but maybe there just needed to be more of them. Overall, it was a great holiday, and we would love to come back again.

Excellent hotel in a great location. All the staff were very pleasant and animation team very friendly. The front desk staff were very helpful too. We really enjoyed the food too. Excellent choice for every taste and waiter service for drinks at dinner was a nice touch. Will definitely be coming back.

Had a lovely relaxing holiday. Staff were very nice and behaved very professionally. Food was amazing with lots of choice. Went in indoor pool which was heated. Rooms were very spacious and clean. A few minutes walk to beach. But a lot further walk to town. Had evening entertainment in the bar which was nice. Will definitely visit again.

We stayed in room 118 and had a lovely holiday. The food was good with vegetarian options. Staff were friendly and provided us with a fan when requested. The area was quiet and surrounded by nature but no more than a 10 minute talk to restaurants and bars. Overall would recommend our stay here.

We have stayed at the Exagon Park many times over the past 8 years. We have stayed as an extended family with ages ranging from 2 years to 58 years. When we asked our 12 year old grandson where he wanted to go on holiday this year he replied "Exagon Park of course". However, that said, the hotel isn't perfect and probably not worthy of the 4 star rating. The rooms are small and dated and the whole hotel is is in serious need of upgrading. For us though the staff (especially bar staff), location, pool and value for money are what make this hotel great for us. The food is always fresh and plentiful and I love eating my breakfast and evening meal on the terrace overlooking the grounds and pool. The evening entertainment is OK but we quite often walk into the town centre (about 20 minutes) and enjoy the entertainment in the various bars. We only ever stay on a half board basis but other family members have stayed on an AI basis. They weren't that impressed, as you had to go into the hotel restaurant at lunchtime and would have preferred to eat at the pool bar. There are things they could do to improve the hotel definitely, but then that would be reflected in the price. If you want a good family holiday a short walk from the beach and great value for money, I would highly recommend. If you want all singing, all dancing with jacuzzi baths in your room, its probably not for you.
