We’ve just returned from a week at Livvo, whilst the rooms were nice this is not a 4 star, the hotel’s facilities are very outdated, there is one pool bar that is small, the self service drinks machines are often empty/turned off. Considering it was “family friendly” they had no pouches available for younger children, not enough high chairs ect, 1 machine available for hot water (not after 11pm)- we were on the other side of the complex so constantly had to go to the other side for water (even water for the kettle). Most, if not all, sunbeds were reserved from 8am onwards despite signs saying “strictly forbidden” but no staff members take the towels off. Entertainment was seriously lacking and samesy with a god awful mini disco with the EXACT SAME songs/routine every night (and it took us asking the manager TWICE for the schedule). We also had to ask TWICE for our room to be cleaned as it was left for 4 days and then suddenly changed every day. Infant the facilities were quite dirty and we didn’t see the restaurant floor be mopped even once- even first thing in the morning it looked just as dirty as the previous evening. I’m all for less food wastage but the meals were very samesy and if there were leftovers it was used the next day I.e dry chicken now in a curry. Unused bread now hard, stale garlic bread. Pastries now left dry by the snack bar and so on. The fresh meat grilling was often raw (on 2 out of 4 occasions for me personally) so we had to be very careful what we fed our 9 month old. Luckily we took pouches and then he nibbles on cucumber and melon. If you want a cheap “burger and chips” holiday you’ll enjoy but if you want something a bit more 4 star I would research other hotels. We personally think for the price we paid it really wasn’t worth it.

We’ve just returned from livvo koala, Long read but here’s my review. The hotel rooms were lovely, spacious, and very well equipped. Our apartment-style accommodation had a separate living room and bedroom, both with their own TVs, plus a balcony. The bathroom was excellent, with a separate shower and bath, and I particularly liked that the hotel used refillable hand soap and shower gel dispensers rather than single-use plastics. The food throughout our stay was very good with plenty of variety. The main restaurant offered freshly made pizzas, Spanish dishes, a great salad bar, soups, and a good selection of desserts. The snack bar was also excellent, serving hot dogs, burgers, pizza, and salads throughout the day. The pool bar was one of the highlights. It offered all the favourite fizzy drinks, a slushy machine, coffee machine, and water dispenser, all available on a self-service basis. The bartender was fantastic, and the all-inclusive package included cider, beer, wine, and cocktails. There were also snacks available during the day, including nachos and pastries, with peanuts served in the evening. The entertainment team truly made the holiday special. During the day they regularly walked around inviting guests to join in activities, creating a fun and friendly atmosphere. There was something for everyone, from relaxed games such as bingo and dice games to more active options including darts, archery, bowls, and bowling. Everyone was encouraged to join in, regardless of age or ability. Evening entertainment was equally impressive, with a mini disco for children followed by professional shows in a lovely open-air setting. The entertainment team were outstanding throughout our stay and worked incredibly hard to keep everyone entertained. The hotel itself is spread across different zones, each with its own pool area. There were plenty of sunbeds available and lots of space, so it never felt overcrowded. The location was also ideal for exploring. We visited the water park using the hotel’s free bus service and took a taxi back for under €10. We also visited the beach by bus and again returned by taxi for less than €10. On Saturday, we enjoyed visiting the market in Playa del Inglés, which had a great atmosphere and plenty of stalls to browse. A return taxi journey cost less than €20.

Currently staring her from the 30th-8th. We staying in pool zone one. Have to knock points off as cleaners only cleaned our room once, didn’t change the bed with stains on it and didn’t sweep the floor ect. However rooms are huge and bathrooms too. Other than that staff were friendly and are nice if you’re nice. (No issues with languages- English people say there is but they’re picky and annoying) Food was okay-mid range food but slightly repetitive if you only like certain things, don’t go if you’re a picky eater. Location wise everything is so far away, however we knew this pre booking so local busses and €6 euro taxi to the centre so not what people are saying. All inclusive drinks are good, snack bars bit outdated and around the pool areas need a bit of TLC. Overall the worst thing was the loud crying kids that had parents with a pea brain. Can’t lie that’s just brits abroad tho so you can’t complain too much. Trying to get a subbed when a family of 15 is around the small pool with 5 kids is quite annoying even tho signs state no reservation on pool beds, this didn’t seem to be enforced. Good holiday overall just a slight bit of work needs doing.

** Long review ** We were there from 10th-17th June (sadly just home) Firstly, we emailed ahead about rooms and zones and we were given exactly what we asked for, staff were amazing especially the entertainment team. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Staff at reception are very helpful when it comes to giving directions and ordering taxis or anything really they were happy to help and approachable. Entertainment was different every night the staff running it are great at keeping it interesting. It does happen quite late but you're on holiday so.... activities also happen loads throughout the day (archery, pool running mat, poolside games, ect) kids club is also great offers face painting, drawing, small soft play area ect. All inclusive drinks are good, a great selection no issues with that. Definetly recommend taking a drinks holder to carry drinks, super helpful. Obviously this hotel is slightly situated away from local towns so you do need taxis (unless you want to walk) its between 6 and 8 euros for taxis. We ventured out every evening. The closest shop was a 20 minute walk away, again easy to get to, the spar that every one talks about is still closed for renovations. This was not a problem for us at all, nice walk down. We visited the waterpark (this was included in our package) absolutely fantastic, expensive but worth it, you pay for sun loungers and food inside which is costly, so I'd advise taking your own pack lunches and juice in, which is allowed. We seen loads of locals in there with cool boxes ect. We also visited playa de ingles the most and the light house town, playa de ingles was far better if you have children, the light house area we found was more 5star and more expensive, not much to do in that area other than take a picture of the lighthouse lol you get your usual looky looky guys down in playa de ingles trying to sell you their kidney but a polite no and they leave you alone. We only saw a couple of cockroaches and yes there is a couple of cats roaming but we never seen poo or smelt pee anywhere in our time there. If a cat does happen to roam in the restaurant which we saw once, staff were quick to usher it out. Only downfall for us was the pools were too deep and the food was repetitive. Me and my husband could eat easy but our children struggled a bit. However, they always found something, the snack bar serves hotdogs, pizza and burgers every day 12-4 which they enjoyed more than anything else 😂 Around the pool area the floor literally becomes like hot lava so definitely wear shoes. Its an ouch!! **Cleaning** definitely take your own wipes to clean tables ect if you have stuff on them the cleaners won't touch them to clean, they cleaned our room 5 out of 7 days we were there. The hotel itsself is clean and well kept. But could do with a lick of paint in areas. Pool towels are given and you can ask to change them in the evening when its quieter or from my understanding you can change them every second day anyway. Pool floats are allowed however certain life guards don't like big ones in the pools We loved the fact it gave us that villa feeling to the aparentments, if you are ground floor you get your own patio area and sun loungers. Overall we had the most amazing time and loved every bit of our time in this hotel, we met some amazing families whilst there and the kids enjoyed it which is the most important for us. We seen all the bad reviews but to be honest I don't see what others are complaining about its maybe not a 4 star more 3 star but it was still fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed ourself.

Koala Gardens Don't let first impressions fool you – a surprisingly great stay! When I first walked into our room, I’ll be honest: I was highly doubtful. I was greeted by a faint smell of sewage and a cockroach, and I immediately feared this was going to be a "holiday from hell." However, I couldn't have been more wrong. By the next morning, the experience completely shifted. The staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. What started as a poor first impression turned into a really lovely holiday. The Highlights: Cleanliness: Despite my initial worry, the resort is kept very clean. The Pools: The pool areas are spotless and, most importantly, the water is actually warm—not freezing cold like many other resorts! Food & Drink: As a picky eater, I was worried, but the food was very nice. I never had a day where I couldn't find something delicious to eat. Pro Tip: I highly recommend buying a drinks holder (like the ones from Shein) for the all-inclusive drinks—it’s a game changer! Entertainment: A big "well done" to the entertainment staff. They worked so hard and really added to the atmosphere. Final Verdict: Don't listen to all the negative reviews; I found that most of them didn't reflect the reality of the stay at all. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely go back.
