⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an unforgettable stay at Joy Island. The resort is beautiful, the beaches are stunning, and the overall experience exceeded all our expectations. A special thank you goes to Naseem, who took exceptional care of us throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make everything perfect. He showed us the best places on the island, adapted plans and activities to our preferences, helped us organize our days, and always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. One of the most memorable moments was a wonderful dinner on the beach, which made our stay even more special. His attention to detail, kindness, and professionalism truly made a difference. We felt genuinely welcomed and cared for, and we are very grateful for everything he did for us. We highly recommend Joy Island and hope to return one day. Our stay at Joy Island Maldives was absolutely incredible. We spent our honeymoon in this paradise, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The resort is beautiful, with breathtaking scenery and a fantastic atmosphere. What made our stay truly special was the entire staff – every team member was extremely kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. As for cleanliness, it was a perfect 10/10: everything was spotless, both inside the rooms and throughout the entire resort. A very special thank you to Hassan Ahmed whose kindness, dedication, and professionalism made our stay even more memorable. He was always attentive, helped us with everything we needed, and was always approachable and available. Simply the best! We can’t wait to come back.

I would like to sincerely thank Miss Dita for the excellent service she provided us at The Market restaurant during our stay. Every day, we would see Miss Dita at the buffet, always welcoming guests with a warm smile. She was consistently attentive and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our meals. She regularly checked on our drinks, promptly refilled our tea, and ensured that we were comfortable at all times. Miss Dita was also very helpful in introducing different dishes to us, kindly explaining what each item was and offering recommendations based on our preferences. Her attitude was always polite, friendly, and patient, which made our dining experience even more enjoyable. What stood out the most was her genuine hospitality. We were always greeted with a smile, and her positive energy truly made every meal feel pleasant and relaxed. We also learned that she is from Bali, Indonesia, and she is able to speak Malay fluently. For guests from Southeast Asian countries who speak Malay, she is very approachable and happy to communicate, which makes the experience even more comfortable and personal. Thanks to Miss Dita’s thoughtful service and attention to detail, our dining experience at The Market was consistently wonderful each day. We are truly grateful for her kindness and hard work, and we highly appreciate everything she did to make our stay more enjoyable.

Today is our last day in the Joy Island Resort for our honeymoon trip. Without doubt, it has been the best experience of our lives, everybody was so generous to us and we have no complaints at all. We wanna be thankful specifically to Maria, our host during the stay, to be so helpful anytime and make theese days easier and perfect. Also to Suneth for preparing our room the cleaniest and prettiest way everyday and being so considerate with every detail. Of course, many thanks also to the incredible 'The Market' staff. We can't find the words to describe just how amazing it is to eat here, not only because of the food, but also because of people like Niha, Swastu and Gita, who make every meal a one of a kind experience with their kindness, professionalism and warmth. We were lucky to spend a week in February 2026 on JOY Island. Expected a lot from our first time in Maldives and this resort completely matched with what we hoped to get. The hotel is very new, comfortable, well designed and convenient, lots of things to do. They offer a lot of activities, that we even did not have time for (boat trips, dives, fishing, you name it). Every night there is a special fun event at the main bar. Quite entertaining, but not too much. Our lagoon villa was beautiful and gave a very private feel of our vacation. They even have a really big reef just outside the villas. The view under water and above it, both are spectacular. Lots of friendly fishes. The staff of very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the hostess Juni, she instantly remembered us and made the experience very personal and nice. Always greeted us at meal times and did not forget about our Anniversary. Thanks a lot! We appreciated a lot! Always nice when hotels have such a friendly people. Highly recommend this resort!
