Located right on Kata Noi Beach, the resort stretches across roughly 400 meters of direct beachfront. While the beach isn’t technically private, it certainly feels like the hotel’s own exclusive stretch of sand — peaceful, clean, and far less crowded than other parts of Phuket. The Ocean Wing rooms are the real highlight. Step out of your room, and within seconds you’re walking straight onto the beach. That kind of seamless indoor-outdoor living is rare and makes morning and sunset walks incredibly special. The resort itself is massive yet well laid out, almost like a self-contained destination. There are close to a dozen food and beverage outlets, ranging from casual cafés to a proper fine-dining steakhouse. What stood out was the pricing — refreshingly reasonable for a beachfront resort of this scale. Even the in-house convenience store (similar to a 7-Eleven) is thoughtfully stocked with drinks, snacks, and daily essentials at fair prices. The souvenir shop offers locally sourced items that are affordable rather than tourist-inflated. Overall, Kata Thani offers the best of both worlds: the atmosphere of a luxury beachfront retreat with the practicality and accessibility of a well-designed resort village. It’s ideal for families, couples, or anyone wanting Phuket’s beach experience without constantly leaving the property.

I want you to write me a review about a hotel where I had my wedding last year. The hotel was absolutely stunning. All the facilities on the resort were perfect for children and adults of all ages. The beach was absolutely stunning. I was apprehensive as we had a lot of people come into our wedding that the planning through and through was absolutely faultless. It was simple, easy and when we arrive for our wedding rehearsal everything was taken care of. All of our details were in a folder. All together kept nice and neat. We were given the opportunity to try our wedding cake and everything just ran smoothly. The attention to detail that they provided was just incredible from the draught steaming to the beautiful flower arrangements and the table decor. I cannot fault this hotel in any way, shape or form. It's highly recommended for families for holidays and highly recommended if you're looking to have a wedding overseas This hotel will always hold the most special place in our hearts because we had our wedding there last year — and honestly, it was everything we could have dreamed of and more. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how absolutely stunning the resort is. The grounds are immaculate, the facilities are incredible, and there truly is something for everyone. Whether you’re travelling as a couple, with friends, or as a family with children, the resort caters perfectly to all ages. And the beach… just breathtaking. I’ll admit, I was quite apprehensive beforehand because we had so many guests flying in for our wedding. You naturally worry about how everything will come together when planning something overseas. But I can honestly say the planning process was completely faultless from start to finish. It was simple, organised, and stress-free — which is exactly what you hope for when planning such an important day. When we arrived for our wedding rehearsal, everything was already taken care of. All of our details were neatly organised in a folder, presented beautifully and clearly laid out. It instantly put us at ease. We were even given the opportunity to try our wedding cake, which was such a lovely touch and made everything feel even more personal. On the day itself, everything ran seamlessly. The attention to detail was just incredible — from the perfectly steamed draping and elegant table décor to the stunning flower arrangements. Every element was thoughtfully executed and absolutely beautiful. You could really see the care and pride the team takes in what they do. I genuinely cannot fault this hotel in any way, shape, or form. It exceeded every expectation we had. I would highly recommend it for family holidays, as it truly caters to all ages, and I cannot recommend it enough if you’re considering having a wedding overseas. It gave us the most magical, stress-free experience — and memories that will last a lifetime.

We stayed here for two weeks in November. Our rooms were in the Thani wing - the view was nice and the rooms were always clean. My parents-in-law stayed in the Bhuri wing. Although it is across the road from the main building, the location is quiet and has a nice garden view. Beach The hotel occupies most of the beach, so it feels pretty quiet. All the sunbeds are on the hotel territory (the ones directly on the beach need to be paid for), but the beach is literally right in front of the hotel area. There are showers and small foot-wash pools to rinse off the sand. We received fresh beach towels every day - they were delivered to each room in the evening. A the wet towels are collected at the same time. During the first few days there were decent waves, and red flags were put up. We were allowed to swim in a designated area with a lifeguard monitoring it. It was pretty fun to jump on them! Though I imagine that in a monsoons season they can pretty high. We also had days with a calm sea, though there wasn’t much to see in the water besides the crabs at the far corner of the beach. Pools There are several pools on the property, including adults-only one. If you want a quiet stay, I would say it is safe to ask for a room near adults only area ( near Thani wing). Food Breakfast was good with plenty of options. There are many cafed and restaurants nearby as well (the restaurants in the hotel are quite expensive). We also ordered food through the room service, and it was delicious (!) Massage There are women (hotel stuff) offering massages on the hotel territory, and you can charge everything to your room. The prices are good and the massages as well 🙂 You can lie on a sunbed or go to the massage area. Really great service! Navigation and service The hotel has its own app, which you can install during check-in, to request towels, vanity kits, and more. There is also a live chat option with the reception. You can view the hotel map and daily activities in the app too. Overall, it was a good experience. Katathani is not a luxury hotel but a great place to spend time with your family.

I want to start by saying a big thank you to the front desk team, especially Pearry and Jenny. I had a small issue with my booking, and they were incredibly patient, warm and genuinely helpful while sorting it out. From check-in to check-out, the whole experience was smooth and pleasant. The environment is amazing, but the service is what made this stay unforgettable for us. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning. Right on the beach, surrounded by tropical gardens, pools, palm trees and frangipani everywhere, it really feels like a proper holiday the moment you walk in. The whole place is beautiful and very relaxing. We had such a wonderful stay here:)

Location right on the beach, many many restaurants to dine in, markets and bars everywhere to accomplish the guests wishes. Everything very well organised. There’s a fitness, a water park, a kids club, massage centres, … I can’t think of something they’re not able to offer you. Thanks for the great experience I had in your hotel. 💕
