Katathani Phuket Beach Resort

We had a lovely stay at Katathani Beach Resort in Phuket, and overall it was a great experience, especially for families with children. We stayed in the Vhari Wing, which is one of the newer sections of the resort, and the rooms were modern, spacious, and very well maintained. The resort is extremely kid-friendly, with plenty of pools, a fantastic kids’ play area, and facilities to keep little ones entertained. The food was also very good, with a nice variety of options, and the overall atmosphere of the resort was relaxing and enjoyable. The only area where I felt the resort fell short was the service during check-in. We were initially assigned rooms that were different from the ones we had booked through Agoda. Since we were traveling with a young child and two elderly family members, this made things quite difficult. We were first told that the room category we had booked was unavailable, but after repeatedly following up and firmly requesting the rooms we had paid for, they were suddenly able to accommodate us. It left the impression that the rooms had been available all along, but they were reluctant to assign them until we pushed for it. I believe this could have been handled much more professionally and would have made for a much better first impression. One thing to keep in mind is that the resort is quite far from the airport and the main areas of Phuket, so getting around can take some time. Also, the pool slides operate only during specific hours, which is worth knowing if you’re traveling with children who are excited to use them. Despite these issues, we really enjoyed our stay. The resort itself is beautiful, the beach is fantastic, and it’s an excellent choice for families looking for a relaxing holiday. The newer rooms in the Vhari Wing were a definite highlight, and the excellent kids’ play area makes it an even better option for those traveling with children. With a smoother check-in experience and more proactive customer service, it would have been close to perfect.

Beautiful hotel, amazing clean rooms and so much to do without leaving the grounds.the rooms are so comfortable and well appointed, there is nothing they have not thought of. The location is stunning and really feels like paradise. The breakfast buffet is plentiful but very busy when we stayed. The pools are lots of fun and there is something for everyone. The staff are wonderful and were so caring and thoughtful when our daughter got sick. Thank you for another amazing stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful and memorable stay at this resort. My kids loved every moment of it, and it was easily the highlight of our trip to Phuket. We booked a room in the Vhari Wing for our family of five, and the room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and comfortable. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the facilities and overall experience. The standout feature of this resort was the water playground. It had everything a family could ask for – a lazy river, wave pool, trampoline pool, water slides, and multiple play areas. My children spent more than four hours each day enjoying the water facilities and never once complained of being bored. What made the experience even better was that the resort was interconnected with its other resort, giving guests access to even more swimming pools and play areas. There were so many activities and facilities that two nights simply did not feel like enough. If I had known how amazing it would be, I would have extended my stay here for the remainder of our Phuket trip. Without a doubt, this is one of the best family-friendly resorts in Phuket. The resort grounds are huge, and the facilities are incredibly well-designed for children and families. Even my friends were asking where we stayed after seeing our photos and videos because the place looked so fun and impressive. A few minor downsides: > Muslim travellers may find the dining options somewhat limited, as we had to leave the resort to find halal food. > For smokers, the designated smoking area is located in Level 1 and may be inconvenient, especially for guests staying in rooms further away. That said, it was nothing compared to our overall experience. 🥰🥰🥰🥰 Highly recommended for families travelling with children. We would definitely return on our next visit to Phuket.

We chose to stay at Katathani Phuket Beach Resort because of the newly opened Vhari Wing and its fantastic water park facilities, which added a whole new level of fun to our family holiday. The combination of spacious modern rooms, multiple pools, and exciting water attractions kept both children and adults entertained throughout our stay. The resort’s direct access to the beautiful Kata Noi Beach was another major highlight. We enjoyed waking up to stunning sea views and being just steps away from one of Phuket’s most peaceful beaches. Despite its tranquil setting, the resort is conveniently located near Kata’s shops, cafés, and night market. The Vhari Wing perfectly balances relaxation and family-friendly activities, making Katathani an excellent choice for anyone looking for a beachfront resort with great facilities, exceptional hospitality, and plenty of activities for all ages. We would definitely return on our next visit to Phuket.

I want you to write me a review about a hotel where I had my wedding last year. The hotel was absolutely stunning. All the facilities on the resort were perfect for children and adults of all ages. The beach was absolutely stunning. I was apprehensive as we had a lot of people come into our wedding that the planning through and through was absolutely faultless. It was simple, easy and when we arrive for our wedding rehearsal everything was taken care of. All of our details were in a folder. All together kept nice and neat. We were given the opportunity to try our wedding cake and everything just ran smoothly. The attention to detail that they provided was just incredible from the draught steaming to the beautiful flower arrangements and the table decor. I cannot fault this hotel in any way, shape or form. It's highly recommended for families for holidays and highly recommended if you're looking to have a wedding overseas This hotel will always hold the most special place in our hearts because we had our wedding there last year — and honestly, it was everything we could have dreamed of and more. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how absolutely stunning the resort is. The grounds are immaculate, the facilities are incredible, and there truly is something for everyone. Whether you’re travelling as a couple, with friends, or as a family with children, the resort caters perfectly to all ages. And the beach… just breathtaking.
